The old city tour of Cairo was fine, though I wish there could be more sites than just going through several churches and the museum of Egyptian civilization! Maybe consider adding one or two more stops at the souq and/or the GEM in the future!

I recently experienced an exceptional Cairo city tour guided by Mohammad. His deep knowledge of Egyptian history and culture brought the landmarks to life. Most people only visit the Pyramids in Cairo and skip the other parts missing out on so much Cairo has to offer. I did this tour with Jakada and loved every bit of it. The Egyptian museum was a treasure trove of Pharoahic history with its Mummy section. The architecture in the Alabaster mosque was stunning and the Coptic side was rich with history. We ended with a lovely shopping session at Khan El Khalili market. My guide, Mohammed was very knowledgeable about Cairo and paced the whole day perfectly without the tour feeling rushed or inadequate. I received lots of fun facts and information about every place we visited. Mohammed is also an incredible photographer and very patient, and took some lovely photos of me. He also took me for a local lunch of the iconic Egyptian Koshary that I loved! The tour gave me a taste of Cairo’s culture and local life, and both Jakada and Mohammed did a splendid job at introducing it to me. 10/10 recommend!

This was my second day with Mohamed as my tour guide. He was able to assist with several special requests for souvenirs. The history lessons and views were amazing. We definitely got a workout and had an enjoyable experience in Cairo.

I have dreamt about coming to Egypt for a long time. Our tour guide Mohamed was an exceptional guide for my friends and I. He made our trip enjoyable and memorable. His knowledge is beyond measure. He is great at explaining and answered all our questions. His knowledge level is impressive. He made sure that we were safe at all times. He made sure that we had all that we needed. He made sure we were hydrated. He took us everywhere we wanted. He was very patient when we took a long time shopping. He was so patient with us. He did it all with a smile. The food, culture and environment. I saw a whirling dervish performance which was fantastic! I got an opportunity to sample some of Cairo’s finest cuisine.

The museum was my favorite part, very neat exhibit and stunning view of the town. Mosque was very crowded but neat to see.

This was a great couples tour that lasted about 4 hours. We started at the museum which covered all of Egyptian history and then went to Old Cairo to visit mosques and churches and lunch at a local restaurant.

Wow, we got to experience Cairo like a local with Mo. It was a full day of adventures and to experience the Cairo essence. After today, I definitely feel more enlightened about the Cairo history with the caliphates and the pharaohs dynasties. We ended our day at the Bazar with colorful alleys, Egyptian tea, and traveling street musicians. An experience we will never forget! Today was moms bday and sweet Mo surprised her with a birthday cake at the end of our day. We appreciate his knowledge and company so much, that we don’t hesitate to recommend him for your next Cairo adventures. Mo is simply the best tour guide

My last full day of my Egypt trip was spent going around sites in Cairo. I learned so much, from the museums to the historic churches. I enjoyed my time with my guide Sara and driver Ahmed. They made my trip so fun and memorable. Forever grateful to them for making my trip one to remember! I highly recommend Jakada Tours - they arranged everything for me and made sure itinerary met my needs - what I wanted to see with the budget and schedule that I had. Great company with great guides!

The Egyptian museum is incredible with my favorite part being the King Tut exhibit and the mosque is beautiful.

Beautiful experience!! If this was medieval times I’d present my tour guide as “Sara, The Best Storyteller of all times LOL…She guided me through the museum knowledgeably sharing stories of some of the main famous Queens/Kings etc. making me feel like I was there :-)) I was also honored and had a great time visiting the underground church Virgin Mary and Jesus hid outta for 3 months. You would definitely want to book her. I booked through Jakada Tours but I think you can ask about her with other tour guides as well.

An extraordinary day spent learning about the importance of numerous historical landmarks. Sara was again a wonderful guide. From explaining the relevance of the masterpieces in the Egyptian Museum, excavations, mummification, Pharaonic statues and artifacts to recalling the history of the Citadel of Saladin and the Mosque of Muhammed Ali, the minarets, the Five Pillars of Islam, etc., were all great lessons. I look forward to hopefully revisiting these places one day.
