We booked a one day Cairo trip with Egypt tailor made. Our guide was Mr. Sabry. We're a family of 4 with 2 twins that are 7 years old. There are two things I am sorry about: not staying longer and not being able to give more than 5 stars. The whole booking process, arrival assistance, coordination was perfect and Mr. Sabry is very knowledgeable, very kind and and a great photographer (he knows all the tricks to get great shots). He not only explained us a lot about history of Egypt, but also taught us a lot on the local culture. Something that we loved was the planning and adaptability. While we had a full plan for the day established in advance, Mr. Sabry was able to squeeze in a few extra requests and help us find a place to eat that our children liked. We would absolutely recommend Egypt tailor made and Mr. Sabry if you're going to Egypt.

Our tours of the Pyramids and of ancient Cairo were led by our indefatigable guide Bassam over two days. His exhaustive knowledge of Egyptian history made both visits fascinating and always interesting. Bassam was also very attentive to the needs of the group, patient and always good humoured. The tour was very well organised from start to finish. Thumbs up to our driver too who was very skilled through Cairo traffic! Thank you to everyone at ETM.

The tour was better than we expected and this was entirely due to our guide Sabry! He was so knowledgeable and his positive energy was infectious. He truly made the tour of Giza an experience we will never forget. We started in Saqqara then Ramses museum and ended at the Pyramids. A few other extras throughout the day too and a delicious lunch all said and done. We learned so much and credit this all to Sabry. What a memorable experience.

My wife and I had an incredible time in Cairo because of our AMAZING guide, Heba. We booked a two-day, private tour and we were able to see so many sites in Cairo! We had an excellent 2 day tour in Cairo, one day at the start of our trip and a second at the end of the week in Egypt. Sabry was our guide. He was fantastic and one of the best guides we have ever had. We are a family of 5 and he was brilliant with all our 3 children. He made the tours interesting and engaging and kept the children entertained. We would definitely recommend him to friends and family travelling to Cairo. The tour was well organised, the vehicle was very clean and we felt very safe with the guide and driver.

We had a lovely tour of the pyramids, Sphinx and Saqqara with our guide Manar and driver Sheriff. Manar was very good with her explanations and ensured we had enough time at each place. Would highly recommend this trip.

We had a 10 hr lay over, with a 7 & 9 yr old who did so well to keep up. We had an amazing tour of the Pyramids, Coptic churches and even a Papyris making shop with artworks for sale. (Not obligated to buy...and great staff.) Our driver Saad was kind and parked wherever we got out, so as to have the airconned vehicle waiting close by upon our return at each site. (It is HOT so this was appreciated!) Our bags were also perfectly safe in his care! Heba, our tour guide was highly informative and so very lovely...and full of smiles...she will definitely always be remembered with fondness, and I would absolutely recommend her and the team any day!

Heba, our guide, was the perfect antidote to a rather hectic Cairo trip. Having arrived late @night and lost 2 bags we only managed 1 hour of sleep before we met Heba and she took us on our first tour to the Pyramids. She was super personable, calm, helpful and her English was amazing (including. Colloquialisms) which was what I needed. She knew a lot about ancient Egypt which was great as I was travelling with a teen who is studying ancient history and already knew the basics. We did 2 morning tours as it was very hot - firstly to the pyramids and Sphinx (we ended up doing the camel ride too which took us to a great view point - Heba negotiated for us and saved us lots of hassle). The second tour was around the Egyptian museum. There was so much to see and it was great to have a guide whisk you to the most important pieces that would be of interest. She was also always able to answer questions about whichever exhibit caught my teens eyes even if it was not an exhibit she had drawn our attention to. I was travelling with my 2 teen daughters and although I would normally be a DIY traveller I had partly wanted a guide to help deal with any hassle we got as we wouldn't have a man with us (I had left my husband & son behind in Australia). I was a little concerned initially when we had a female guide. But Heba was far better than I could have hoped for .. it felt like travelling with a very knowledgeable friend and we certainly didn’t get any hassle. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing a guide in Cairo. And I would recommend Egypt Tailor made for creating tours that suited our interests, the time we had and the time of year. Full day tours in July would just have been too much! We also did 2 morning tours in Luxor - covering Valley of the Kings & Hatshepsuts Temple and the Temples of Luxor and Karnak. I never normally do guided tours but it was so worth it in the heat to have an air conditioned minibus pick you up between stops and supply you with ice cold water. Worth every penny. Our tour guide, Sabri, was able to chat with the local tomb docents to get us into some tombs that aren't generally open to the public, and it was a magical experience! Most tourists are generally attracted to the typical Great Pyramid stuff, but Sabri was able to give us the rundown on some of these smaller tombs which arguably has so much more interesting information and history of life in ancient Egypt than many of the Pharaoh tombs.

Hanging out with Ahmed Zaki & Mohamed was the highlight of our trip. They were insightful, kind & experts in their fields.

I am a usually a DIY traveler. Due to language limitations i utilized Egypt Tailor Made. There is no shortage of excellent historical sites in Egypt, transportation, restaurant facilities and tribal knowledge of sites. TBH ETM bridged the gap between my desires and the lack of my knowledge on Egyptian tourist sites & facilities. Ms Heba was our ETM guide in Cairo, she was knowledgeable, funny and interesting . She was also impartial as she did not push us to buy anything in Papyrus institute a reputable shop which she recommended. She is a foodie and also volunteered to take great photographs of us which is unusual.

We started our 7 day Egypt tour in Cairo with ETM and Ms Heba was our guide. We visited Giza 1st and Ms Heba gave us a quick run down of the history of the pyramids and walked with us to the 2 big pyramids and pointed out salient features. We drove to photo spots, and did a 45 minute camel ride that started in front of the smallest 3rd pyramid which our guide helped us negotiate. We visited the Sphinx followed by papyrus institute before stopping for delicious to go lunch at Gad (recommended by Ms Heba). We visited Egyptian museum in the afternoon before ending the day with a visit to Khalil market. We had a mix of teens& adults in our group and Ms Heba knew exactly how to sustain all our interest levels be it in the museum or in the market and she made the day joyous and interesting. Our guide also squeezed in a stop at the famous Fishawi restaurant near Khalil market for tea&coffee which was a nice relaxing cultural experience. Ms Heba was a fun host just like a local friend, we & our kids enjoyed the time we spent with her. The van driver who drove us was a very nice gentleman and a safe driver. Thank you Ms Heba for all the great photos and memories and ETM for the ground work!!

Egypt tailor made was amazing to work with! As we planned out trip in early 2021, many travel requirements were uncertain. They were easy to get in touch with and very specific in each step of the day. They provided options and suggested timeframe to see everything we wanted to see in one day! It was a wonderful tour. I had Mr Othman as my guide and felt always in such caring and knowledgeable hands. He is a true expert, and so kind and considerate. He is also an amazing photographer, but more than that a very warm and generous human being. We had a very good driver, the excellent Mr Ahmed who took us everywhere and even to have delicious falafel sandwiches. They were also great translators and helped to navigate the city and sites with ease. As a solo female traveller it was important to feel safe, and from the start I was made to feel this way. The agency was wonderful for that. They also tailored the day for me as I wanted to pack more things into a single day. Everything was very well organised, and easy to book and arrange (first via email then WhatsApp). Visited some very inspiring sites in Giza, Sakkara (actually my favourite) and inside Cairo. I wish to have a chance to come back with the whole family next time. Thanks for an unforgettable day. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic guide for our Cairo neighborhood tour. Sabry was wonderful. He works with Taylor Made Tours which did a great job of helping us organize our time in Cairo. Taylor Made Tours was professional, reliable, and efficient. Sabry was a fantastic guide through the bazaars and took us to 3 local restaurants to hit up some of the local cuisine. He helped us navigate the bazaar and made sure we were not taken advantage of as tourists. We had a wonderful meal on a boat ride on the Nile. We hit the oldest coffee shop in Cairo. We spent a few hours looking through the bazaar which was great fun. My wife and I felt safe the entire time and Sabry treated us like family. We loved our time in Cairo.
