This tour was outstanding. It was very informative. The staff was friendly. Lunch was good.
We drove two hours there and back with a driver who didn't speak English so we couldn't ask him about things we saw. He would point at something and say something in Spanish but we had no idea what we were supposed to see. When we arrived at the plantation we were pleased that our guide spoke English. The tour was informative and our guide friendly and knowledgeable.
We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide Joyce was really amazing, and we had fun making chocolate with her. Lunch was very good and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The only problem we had was on our return trip to the hotel the driver made an unscheduled stop to visit with folks.
