We took this bus from Cat Ba to Ninh Binh. The communication was excellent and everything was right on time. They arranged everything for us and were very helpful. The guy on our bus spoke English quite well. I am from the US. I would recommend this company to anyone that needs a bus transfer in Hanoi area. I booked through Vexere.com but I think you can book directly through their website. Sometimes the translation is a little confusing but they are excellent at answering questions.

The guide is very friendly take care of everyone and his instruction is also very clear and feel safe for whole joinery. Value for money. We will recommend this service to our friend. Thank you for your service !

Super easy transfers and nice staff who make sure you don't get lost along the way. They stop for toilet/food and update you along the way on whats going on.

What an absolute scam. I booked online with this company. After I paid never received a confirmation email or anything so I contacted their whatsapp number. Had a brief conversation with someone until they found out id already booked and paid online then they just stopped replying. Multiple messages and calls unanswered. DONT NOT BOOK WITH THESE CON ARTISTS.

During Tet holiday, it's very difficult to find a bus transfer in Vietnam. I contacted several bus companies but only Cat Ba Discovery could tell me their bus service on/off schedule during Tet holiday in advance. Thanks Đang Trung always replied me email quickly. I booked a round trip from Ninh Binh to Catba and from Catba to Hanoi for 9 persons. I think VND 550,000 per person is a very reasonable price. The bus always arrived on time! Highly praised! Once the bus boarded on the ferry to cross the sea, the guide asked all passengers got off the bus and explained to us it's due to safety reason. Then we just relaxed on the deck. When the ferry arrived at the other side, we got on the same bus and continue the journey. The guide in the bus spoke fluent English and the bus was comfortable. There was WIFI on the bus. It's not strong, but it's still acceptable. Thank you for your company great service! Keep up your good work!

Great service. My roommates and I went through Cat Ba discovery during Tết holiday. Picked us up in Hanoi at their office and brought us to our hotel in Cat Ba. Vice versa on the way back. Tim welcomed us very nicely! We had a very good journey from Hanoi to Cat Ba and then to Ninh Bình. Very affordable too.

The bus is very clean, comfortable and the WIFI actually works; we were able to book tickets and accommodation whilst on the bus with no issues. The staff are accommodating, nice and helpful. The route is direct and doesn't require changing buses at the ferry like some of the cheaper options do. Highly recommend.

They can arrange many travels and trips/tours for you. I'm currently writing this review from an alternative companies bus (not to be mentioned here ofcause) and I wish I had booked with Cat Ba discovery for my return to the mainland.

I went from Hanoi to cat ba, and booked the ticket on their website. Everything went very smoothly and I didn’t have any of the problems some people mentioned. Maybe they’ve learnt from some of those feedbacks. No music on the bus, a very quiet and relaxing journey with a really friendly member of the stuff. Because my experience on the bus was nice I decided to book the tour on the boat with them, I love it! Cat ba is so beautiful.

I can tell you that is the cheapest price that you will find from Hanoi to cat ba and they pick you up in your hotel (if it is in the old quarter). Good service guys. We took Cat Ba Discovery from Ninh Binh to Cat Ba and then Cat Ba to Hanoi. Both times we arrived on time and the driving was safe. What to expect: *clean bus/transport *comfortable. We are tall Europeans (and found it to be fine) *complimentary water *personable guide - our guide Tim was very professional and had a lovely smile. Really liked the little welcome speech *we were offered a 10% discount card when we arrived in Cat Ba which we used to book our second journey by whatsap. Very easy. *dropped us right by hotel on both trips. *no horrible loud music blaring from the speakers (i say this after awful other experiences subjected to techno for 4 hours)
