Walid is a very attentive guide from Aswan. Not only does he look after your needs, he's very knowledgeable of his city, it's history and Egyptian stories as well. Highly recommend

We were aboard the Nile Sapphire. The ship was older but had lots of character. The rooms were dated but sufficient. No complaints about the food- there was always plenty of options and very tasty. Crew were courteous and helpful. Wifi was only available in the reception area for a hefty daily price TIP: get a local SIM with data for much less. Overall the cruise was beautiful and relaxing, but our EMO tour guide, Ashraf, won our hearts and made for a memorable and highly informative family trip! We were traveling with our 10-year old daughter and Ashraf treated her like one of his own children. He engaged with her asking her questions and quizzing her, then giving her high fives when she got the answer right. He is not only highly educated in Egyptian history and culture, but he is kind hearted, patient, professional and so easy to get along with. An excellent ambassador for Egyptian hospitality! On our 4-day Nile cruise we visited sights in Aswan, Abu Simbel, Kom Ombo, Edfu and Luxor. Ashraf was with us for the entire 4 days and provided us with tons of information about each historical sight and we never felt rushed or out of sync. Also of note, we were highly pleased with the transportation services offered by EMO including airport pick ups and transportation to various temples and sights when off the cruise ship. The vehicles were clean, comfortable and the drivers were always on time and careful while driving. Booking through EMO will make for an easy and smooth trip, and asking for the guide Ashraf will make for an all-around spectacular trip to Egypt.

The best part of the experience was our tour guide Walid! A perfect mix of humour, knowledge and professionalism. A breath of familiarity and made our cruise super relaxing and enjoyable. Cannot recommend him enough.

We had a great experience with Emo Tours on our honeymoon in Egypt! We booked multiple tours in Aswan and finished with a 4-day Nile river cruise. Our tour guide Sam was with us throughout, and was very knowledgeable about Egyptian history. He explained the significance of every site in an interesting way and provided us with extra time to explore and take pictures by ourselves. Sam went above and beyond the entire time! We couldn’t have asked for anything more! He helped us book COVID tests before our flight home and even took us out on an unplanned trip to purchase spices one night. Thanks to Sam we have great memories from our trip to Egypt!

Our tour guide Ahmed Eid spoke both excellent English and Italian. He provided us with in-depth information on all historical sites. He knew all the best restaurants and shops and helped us with our shopping at convenient prices. He knew people at a Nubian village and showed us a characteristic spice shop where we could smell a lot of different plants and seeds. Not only did we thoroughly visit tourists’s attractions but he allowed us to mingle with the local population. 5 stars for ingenuity.

My parents and I just completed the Emo Tours 4 night 5 day cruise. The best part of the whole trip was our stellar guide, Ahmed Moatty. He was extremely well organized, an absolute gentleman, very knowledgable, and best of all patient - despite our slow walking, last minute requests and non-stop questions! He thought of everything to make our trip memorable. #1 Highlight: when he timed it down to the minute en route to Abu Simbel to have us arrive at a look out right when the sun peeked over the desert horizon. Special thanks for his above-and-beyond help changing money and sourcing out good prices for needed items.

We are a couple from India and took the Nile cruise tour with Emo Tours from aswan to Luxor. We had a very nice experience with the guide and the entire tour was managed well. The guide Emad was experienced, articulate and very helpful. He made our experience memorable and hassle free. We had very informative discussions and bonded well throughout the trip. All the locations included in aswan , Kom ombo, Edfu and Luxor were incredible. The cruise operation was a bit delayed and the cruise boat is a bit old but the magical views along the Nile made us forget about all that. I would recommend this to others. One last advice plan for tips to the drivers, boatmen etc. ahead so that you don’t fall short of cash.

I recommend this tour and Waleed as the guide. The boat is top notch, the food is probably the worst part of it. It’s nice getting a private tour guide experience for this low of a price.

We were glad that we booked our tour with Emo. All the arrangements right from the airport pick to the last day was very professional. Our tour guide Asraf was just amazing. He explained everything in details and the visit to all the places became even more interesting.At each historic site, he was an enthusiastic storyteller and guide, giving us a lot of info while keeping us engaged. The tour guides really knew their stuff. Mustafa started the tour with us and covered everything but Luxor. He did a great job and really was a nice guy. Sameer worked with us in Luxor and was top notch. Very professional. Walid (the strongest man in Egypt) was our driver in Luxor and he was very cool. The ship was fine. Many of the Nile cruise ships are worn and a bit tired and the Miriam was no exception. The accommodations were clean enough and the food was nice. The staff was very helpful and made everything pleasant. I’d definitely recommend Emo Tours for your Nile cruise guides and any airport transfers.

We had great time on this cruise thanks to our awesome tour guide Walid. Walid was super knowledgeable about Ancient Egypt, friendly, and managed our whole itinerary effortlessly. At each historic site, he was an enthusiastic storyteller and guide, giving us a lot of info while keeping us engaged. When he grew up, he was inspired by the tourists and tour guides around Luxor, realized his dream was to be a tour guide, followed that dream and got a degree in hieroglyphics, and it really shows in his tours. Outside the sites, he constantly made us feel comfortable with his humor, keeping us supplied with snacks and water, and helping us avoid scams/harassment. Whenever we went somewhere, Walid was always greeted by a lot of other locals, so he was very familiar with all the sites. Finally, Walid took care of arranging all our boat rides, feluccas, horse carriages, and car transportation, so we didn't have to think twice. Everyone arrived promptly so there was almost no waiting around, and he introduced us to the drivers so we could get to know them. Once I was going to buy a falafel pita, but Walid offered to go buy it to make sure that I would get the local price instead of the tourist price. The cruise itself was more or less as expected. We were on the cruise ship Grand Sun, but we think the ship you get is more or less which ship leaves on the selected day, and they're all probably similar. The rooms were clean and had good bathrooms and air conditioning. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were provided by the boat and were buffet style. The breakfast omelette guy was amazing, but the cleanliness of the dish washing was questionable and all drinks were extra charge. There was a cool sundeck and swimming pool that we probably should have checked out more. Unfortunately there was no guest wifi, so we got by on a local vodafone sim which is pretty cheap. All in all, this package was a great value to see everything along the Nile and we would definitely recommend Walid as a guide (just ask for him)

Really glad to have booked this tour. The ship, though small and with no frills, was in good condition and clean. They served some good vegetarian food. The staff was attentive and courteous. The rooms are spacious for two people but since we were three, it got a little cramped. All in all, we enjoyed our time on board. I have been on various guided tours before but this was the best experience so far. Walid is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Egypt and its history. He shared many great stories about the land and the people. He explained everything in great detail and answered all our queries. He was very patient and did not rush us when taking pictures. He is funny and made us feel very comfortable from the moment go. He went above and beyond to make this trip a memorable one. I will not forget his hospitality and would definitely recommend him to everyone.

Pour décrire notre séjour , nous avons eue la chance de pouvoir séjourner dans un bateau provenant de Assuan à destination de Louxor pour une durée de 4 jours et 3 Nuits. Tout le long de notre périple nous avons été accompagnés par notre guide Choukry Abdallah qui a été remarquable avec nous. Cette traversée a été juste incroyable dans tous ses aspects. Le bateau était très luxueux, confortable, nous ne manquions de rien. Le personnel a été très gentil, serviable, très agréable avec nous, les activités ont été en adéquation avec nos attentes ( Visite de temples ). Et comment ne pas remercier également encore une fois Choukry notre guide. Il a rendu notre voyage fantastique tout simplement. A l écoute de nos attentes, très professionnelle, très pédagogue, qui a beaucoup d humour, ma copine et moi même l’avons adoré. Il aime passer du temps avec chacun de ses élèves 😂 pour apprendre à nous connaître et nous faire partager un peu ses expériences. Il a été un vrai coup de cœur, notre papa de l Égypte haha. Nous avons hâte de le revoir. Donc encore merci pour tout Choukry , tu as été exceptionnel 👍 Je le recommande puissance 100
