Our guide informed us very well and gave us enough time for pictures. She was super friendly. I would recommend to do. It takes around 2 hours.

We had a very informational tour on the Buda side with Balzs. He has a very loud voice so even with many in the group, you could hear all he shared. He knows his history and made a few jokes along the way

Joined Andy’s afternoon walking tour. He was funny and engaging. At the end, he gave us local recommendations (restaurants, bars, etc). PS: Be prepared to go uphil and climb some stairs.

We enjoyed the general Budapest walking tour so decided to also join the castle tour. Boulash was a great guide. He was knowledgable and friendly in his delivery. After 4 days of walking around Budapest our legs were aching but this tour is definitely worth it.

Tour was amazing! Did the Pest side in the morning and Buda in the afternoon - both with Balázs. He had the gift of being entertaining while being highly informative. Also highly knowledgeable with any questions. Can't recommend enough.

I felt a bit let down by the tour experience with Charlotte. Her approach to storytelling seemed overly focused on politics, and I found myself wishing for more engaging, light-hearted moments. Compared to other guides from the same company, her presentation fell short. Additionally, I noticed several people leaving during the tour. It's worth noting that the uphill walk required a decent level of fitness, which might be challenging for those who aren't in the best shape.

These tours are not to be missed! The tour was really informative and showed the main sights that we wanted to see. The views were spectacular and plenty of opportunities for great photos. Rita the tour guide was very knowledgeable and very friendly. One word of advice, Rita needs to talk slower as sometimes I missed what she was saying .

An amazing and must visit experience to try if you are in Budapest. Our host Rita is amazing- full of useful information and lively conversation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our informative tour of the castle district. There is so much to see in this area and the tour guide shares so much great information. The tour description said that you go into Matthias church and spend 15 minutes in Fisherman's Bastion. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. Had I known we would have arranged more time prior to the tour to do this. That being said, the tour is truly wonderful. Just plan accordingly.

The tour was informative and the 1.5 hours flew away very quickly. The history of the place and the art of story telling was very captivating. Charlotte had a nice sense of humor, was open to questions and gave some good inside tips about the local cuisine.

This 5-star review is for our brilliant guide, Charlotte. She toured us to many historical sites on the Buda side and explained how Budapest was influenced by different cultures in several historical periods. It was freezing in early January, so she used a strategy that she stopped and talked about Budapest's history for a few minutes and then we moved again to warm up a bit. Also she gave us a surprise by bringing us to a warm indoor site, otherwise I would become a snowman! She had lots of interactions with visitors and her talk was so interesting that I can still remember some of the content clearly. Highly recommend this free walking tour to Budapest visitors.
