This was an amazing tour. You get an in-depth lesson on both Belgian beer and chocolates, with an incredible array of samples from the best shops. The tour takes about 6 hours, and is perfect to fully experience the food/drinks and absorb the information.

Fantastic tour!! We had local beers and so many delicious chocolates then toured around the local areas. Waffles were delicious and our guide was truly exceptional!!

Avo was an amazing tour guide! I learned so much about chocolate, beer, and the history of Brussels during this tour. Avo is so knowledgeable about everything beer and chocolate. It was also obvious he loved talking about his city and his country. There were several chocolate samples from a variety of regions and local shops included and Avo explained each one very throughly. I also really appreciated him taking the time to research local stores who use fair trade ingredients. So much beer! Come ready to drink, but don’t worry, you aren’t pressured to finish and tons of snacks were provided. Avo was incredibly friendly and the whole tour really felt like hanging out with a friend who knows a bunch of awesome stuff. I highly recommend booking this tour! You will love it!

This is a must do tour if you want to experience Brussels. It has it all: Beer, waffles, frites, and chocolate. You get samples of chocolate and beer along with recommendations for where to buy it all. The tour guide is beyond knowledgeable and friendly. The tour is small so it feels personal. We would do it again in a heartbeat. Best tour ever!

Avo isn't just an ordinary tour guide, he's an experience. Before we even left the states, was already in contact with us in regards to our food allergy and went the extra step to make sure we were both included. His knowledge of the interworkings of the process of Chocolate in amazing. Not only did we try the best chocolate Brussels had to offer, but we learned the process of how the plants grow and how the seeds are crushed to make the finest of chocolate. The same was with his knowledge of beer and how the brewing is done and by which monks and Abby's. He truly loves his city and tells you the no frills about the history of his country. You can see how passionate he his by his reactions to your expressions with each taste and with the stories he shares. He truly is the best tour guide we have ever encountered. We visited several local chocolate shops and pubs, sampled a ton of chocolates and Belgian beers, and had fun getting to know the rest of the group.
