Unfortunately, our guide was very unstructured in his explanations of the city, history and sights.

Very (too) many historical impressions. Far too many dates. The common thread about the life and development of Brno, with exciting stories, was unfortunately completely missing.

We were not at all satisfied with the tour and cannot recommend it. Although the guide had a lot of specialist knowledge, he was unable to convey the content in a structured or understandable way.

Excellent weather for this tour! Guide very nice. Brno is a beautiful city.

We’ve been on many walking tour before and this was the worst one yet. The old guide Robert, started with talking on the phone with someone for 10 minutes and my partner and I just stood there waited for him to be done. Then he barely walked at all and for 40 minutes we were in front of the main road being talked in broken English about history that has something to do with the surroundings at all. Over 2 hours and 10 minutes he walked in the slowest pace on earth, missed all the attraction and took us to the roughest part of Brno which has nothing to see at all. I have requested a refund because its completely faults advertising and we wasted a whole afternoon feeling completely drained by this guide. At 2 hours and 10 minutes he just would not stop talking at us and mostly about his personal history too. We had to stop him and said we had to go as he just took all the energy out of us and we didn’t want to waste anymore time. I would have given no star at all if I could.

We are extremely dissatisfied with our experience with the Brno walking tour. To start off, our guide was late, which kept the group waiting. Throughout the tour, our guide kept stuttering and mumbling, and spoke in a monotone the entire time with a heavy accent, alongside his odd pauses and stutter, and inadequate volume, which meant it was impossible to understand what he was saying at all. He also had no desire to answer any questions, never paused to see if the group was engaged, and only went on and on with his script. His explanations were uninteresting, and his whole demeanour was unfriendly and unengaging. We cannot believe this kind of tour can be accepted to be advertised to tourists on your website. We have had some wonderful tours from your website but this has left us utterly disappointed. Other members on the tour felt the same way. Please refund.

This tour was a complete disaster, worst I've ever been on..... I waited inside the Grand Hotel as per instructions only to be told almost 10 minutes after the meeting time 9.50 by the hotel staff , that the meeting point is outside the hotel....no sign of the tour guide outside either ..... eventually a German speaking man arrived and attempted to conduct the tour in German, as the other 2 participants were German.... I had booked an English speaking tour.....I literally could not understand a word of his heavily accented English....worst tour ever ... I learnt absolutely nothing and am glad I had the afternoon to spare when I 1st arrived to explore the city by myself for FREE... complete waste of time this walk and a complete rip off. And I never leave bad reviews unless I feel it's completely warranted as was the case in this instance.

I've been on many walking tours around Europe. I've even worked as a walking tour guide myself, so I'm loathe to leave negative reviews, but this experience was bad. Firstly, the guide's English was poor. I booked in English (and checked the confirmation to make sure) but the guide initially wanted to do it in German. Then when he did do it in English, I couldn't even follow one of his stories. I got a few words, but after a few sentences I invariably lost track. This rendered the whole exercise pretty pointless. He also stopped and talked in the middle of roads or on tram tracks - when it was absolutely unnecessary to do so. One time we were in a square, so why we needed to stand on the tram tracks, I don't know. I can't say the tram was right upon us, but it was visible and rolling closer. Even if I could have understood the guide's English, that would definitely have distracted from whatever he was trying to say! There were other oddities of this tour, but I'll leave it at that.
