Emmanuel was the guide of the tour that I took. He knows the history of Jerusalem by hearth and took us to the must-seen places in the old city. He is very engaging and a fun person with full of Jerusalem stories. Highly recommended!

He takes his job and passion very seriously with always bringing extra documents and photos to back up his teachings and to clarify things for you. We had a really great day in Jerusalem with Emmanual. He was very responsive ahead of time, and shared how to get to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv as we were just going there for the day. He met us at the train station in the morning, took us all around Old Jerusalem and then made sure we were able to catch the last bus back to Tel Aviv on Shabbat. All 11 of us (grandparents, parents & teens) learned so much about Isreal, Jerusalem and the different cultures and religious traditions there. It was really fantastic and one of the highlights of our time in Israel! Definitely recommend.

I traveled with a work colleague for sightseeing prior to several days of business meetings in Israel. We had planned a group tour, but it was canceled due to “not enough people.” We searched for another option, found great reviews for One Israel Tours and Emmanuel online, and contacted him on WhatsApp. He was friendly and fairly priced, so we booked a private tour of Jerusalem. In addition to the standard places, we asked to see Hezekiah’s Tunnel and the Garden Tomb. Emmanuel was happy to customize our itinerary to include these destinations. On the day of our tour, Emmanuel met us at our hotel and we began our adventure. In all, Emmanuel was a great guide, telling us not only the history of each destination, but also introducing us to people he knew along the way. His philosophy is that we can’t get a true understanding of the city or culture without stopping to meet with its citizens. Without these introductions, people surely would not have spent much time chatting with us. We enjoyed speaking with his friends and acquaintances at the Western Wall, a coffee shop in the Old City, and a local jeweler where we browsed pendants made with Eilat, the national stone of Israel. Our tour included, among other places, the Western Wall, Hezekiah’s Tunnel (with water above our knees) and Pool of Siloam, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Via Dolorosa, and the Garden Tomb. We had a late lunch of kebabs at a popular dive in the Old City. It was a lot of walking, but Emmanuel took us at the quick pace we desired since we only had one day. I hope to return someday to learn more about Israel and see places we did not have time to visit. Thank you to Emmanuel for making our trip an enjoyable and educational experience!

We joined a Christian Tour at the Old City last 15May (15:00hrs-18:30hrs) with Guide Emmanuel and I may say he is a walking encyclopedia with all the interesting info he was sharing with us. It was a mix of fun and learning at the same time with twists of historical, political and religious colours he added on our itinerary. I would recommend this tour. Excellent tour, Emmanual arranged for our transfer from Ashdod and we had a tour of all 4 quarters of Jerusalem. We even made it to the Temple Mount.

This was a highlight of my trip! Emmanuel guided me around Jerusalem like an old friend. We managed to go to everything I wished to go do and even more. Emmanuel is a great friend of everyone working the tourist spots which makes getting the spots quite easy. If you are visiting Jerusalem, I couldn't think of a better guide than Emmanuel—this is a can't miss!

Emmanuel went above and beyond to make sure my parents (one disabled, the other cancer survivor) were comfortable at all time. We only had one full day in Jerusalem and he mapped out a day that included major highlights while keeping my parents comfort in mind. He always made sure we had shade/seat while he explained the importance of each place. He also pointed out vendors who were very polite and had prices on merch (no need to haggle). Emanuel was a fantastic guide. Fun and Knowledgeable. He guided us based on our interests. He met us at our hotel to start the day, at an age time is 9 am. This got us to Key sights before the crowds. He's quite crafty, for example suggesting we buy delicious kebab sandwiches from a local vendor, which we then ate on the roof of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. I highly recommend him. Drop him an email though, you might get a better deal than purchasing through Tripadvisor.

I followed an old city tour of Jerusalem with Emmanuel. Not only did he know a lot about the city, he was also able to convey his knowledge with a great sense of humor. Even though the tour took over two and a half hours I wasn't bored a second. Emmanuel knows even the smallest details about the city and when certain places are too crowded to view at that moment Emmanuel knew places less crowded even more interesting. I would definitely recommend taking a tour at Emmananual to get an unforgettable experience and learn a lot of things that you would never have known if you did not take the tour.

Emmanuel was absolutely amazing. I was part of a group of three friends, and spending the entire day with Emmanuel as he showed us the Old City was phenomenal. Very informative, really funny, and all of this was over 26k steps!

Such a fun tour. We started at the Mount of Olives and Emmanuel showed us so many diverse sites, be it political, Christian, Muslim, Jewish. Around every corner was something interesting.
