Luis Felipe and his brother Alejandro were the perfect and very knowledgeable guide combination to provide a detailed and personalized tour of the diverse and authentic Bogota. We ended the day enjoying pure heaven colombian coffee and pleasant conversation about life.

We had one full day in Bogota and wanted to make the very most of our time there! Luis was the perfect guide to plan a day with us that Included highlights, authenticity, food and entertainment. Luis drove and guided us while his brother Alejandro took care of parking so we would maximize our time seeing things and not dealing with traffic and parking inconveniences. We really appreciated the tag teaming and were able to really maximize our hours on the sights and landmarks! We are a family with lots of questions as we love learning about the history, culture and present day political and social climate. Luis was always patient and genuine in answering our questions and sharing his knowledge. Even though we had only one full day, we felt like we were there for a few days due to the things we experienced and learned. A wonderful way to see Bogota! Highly recommend Luis!

We had 1 day in Bogota and wanted to see as much as possible. We had a lot of options but we are so happy we chose this company. The guide and driver were incredibly friendly, very knowledgeable and accommodating. They showed us the highlights as well as places you might not see on your own. They allowed us to customize the tour according to what we find interesting and what we enjoy all in comfort and at our preferred pace. Luis was an amazing tour guide. I am a solo female traveler and felt comfortable the entire time. I was only in Bogotá for 2 days and I felt I got to see all the highlights during the day tour. Luis even took me to a couple sites that I wanted to see that wasn’t on the itinerary. If you are considering booking do it you won’t be disappointed!

This tour was an excellent introduction to the city of Bogota and its history. My guide, Luis Felipe, is a native of the city and a fantastic host. His guided tour of the Gold Museum was a highlight of the day. Also not to be missed is the tropical fruit tasting at the fascinating public market. I highly recommend this tour to any first-time visitor to Bogota.

EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS! What a great experience visiting Bogota with Luis and his brother Alejandro showing my friend and I around the city while we were in town for the Knotfest music festival. Very friendly and professional with a nice clean car for our 3 day tour. They showed us everything from the tourist sites to the local experience. The brothers have the logistics well planned as Alejandro would drive and drop us off so Luis could share the knowledge of Bogota and Columbia while we walked around, then Alejandro would pick us up when we were done. It eliminated issues of parking and we were able to experience more during our short visit. I highly encourage anyone needing anything from a ride to and from the airport, a concert, or 1/2 day or full day tours, to enjoy their professional friendly services. I was extremely pleased with the fact that I could personalized the experience to surprise my husband on our fourth weding anniversary. Our tour took care of all the extra arrengements for the special packages that gave the entire experience a unique flavor. Having lunch at the San Isidro restaurant in Monserrate was one of the highlights of the tour for my husband.

Returning to Colombia and remembering its history, our traditions and meeting again with our culture was very pleasant along side with our guide. We recommend everyone to live this beautiful experience

Luis and Alejandro run an incredible tour operation. We arrived in Bogotá early in the morning, and had booked a day tour the night before with a different company. Only 30 minutes prior to departure, we got a cancellation notice and scrambled to find a tour guide for the day. We were so lucky to find Bogotá driver guide. The brothers were accommodating, knowledgeable, efficient, and fun. With no notice, Luis made sure we had unforgettable day. And when the weather didn’t cooperate, they pivoted and took us to play tejo - which gave us an experience we would never have otherwise had! At the gold museum, having Luis to explain the history and cultural significance of the exhibits was invaluable. I feel like we got more out our trip to the museum than we would have otherwise had with a full day there on our own. We were also thoroughly impressed with Alejandro’s ability to safely, patiently, and quickly navigate the chaotic streets of the city. When we return we will absolutely book another tour with Luis and Alejandro.

I had many favorite parts of the tour like going to the market (where actual locals go not some snobby market where only the 1% go) to try local fruits and street food, tasting better avocados than where we live (which where we live is Hawaii), going to see the highlights of notable museums, seeing a view of the city from a building I’d never know to walk in to, taking the cable car up Monsarrate… literally EVERYTHING was a highlight. I read basically all of the previous reviews about this tour with Felipe and decided to book - we are glad we did! He felt like our local friend who knows so much about not just Colombia, but also these worldly facts. I honestly DO NOT think it would be possible to have seen what we had seen in this short amount of time we had in Bogota had it not been for this tour with Felipe. (We just had one free day in Bogota and decided to spend it with Felipe’s private tour.) Having a private tour guide like Felipe with a car is invaluable. He knows where to drive, where to park, knows where bathrooms are, even which part of the Monsarrate train to stand so we can be the first ones to enter!… and he is super patient with not just his clients/us, but also the traffic and crazy zig-zagging motorcycles. I would’ve LOST my mind if I were driving. He never once showed any frustration. Wow. I think you truly learn about someone when you see them in the driver’s seat (haha). After the full day tour with Felipe, my husband and I tried to tour Bogota by ourselves and only made it 15 minutes to only just turn around and called it a day… it was just more fun and informative with Felipe. We don’t speak Spanish, so having Felipe as our guide and fluent/local speaker made us feel comforted (haha)! Not only is Felipe kind but he has a sense of humor, very humble and easy to talk to just about life. My husband and I really think Felipe made our first time in Bogota really special because sure, we could go to the sites ourselves and eat by ourselves but to have Felipe’s perspective and commentary throughout was really special. Sorry for the long review but if you read this far… just book it. Felipe has a real passion for his homeland, his job and is truly a positive person… You’ll have fun and definitely will learn something on your tour!

Seeing the city through a life long resident’s eyes was great. This was my first visit and I wanted to see what he thought was important to understand the heritage and life here. I didn’t know the French influence! We had a great lunch if the local soup as well. I would hire him again to take me to the Salt Cathedral or anywhere I wanted to see in the area. Private car, entrance to museum and funicular. It was a great investment and a fabulous memory

I was recommended this service by a native Colombian. We had never been to Bogota before, so I didn't know much about the city and was looking for a good introduction. We arranged for airport transfer to the Chapinero neighboorhood as well as a full day city tour of Bogota for myself and my two travelmates. I was so impressed by Luis and his service. I received excellent communication about service offerings as well as planning prior to the events. Luis was on time on both occasions and was very professional. It was very easy to communicate with him and follow his instructions. I also appreciated being consulted about the activities and being asked for my opinion on what we wanted to do and what interested us the most. That flexibility and personalization is always valued. Our full-day tour was wonderful. It was so relaxing to have him navigate all of the stops and arrange for our activities and purchases throughout the day. Although he apologized for his English, we all found it quite good and thought he was exceptionally easy to understand. We especially liked hearing all of his personal comments and opinions and backstory about life in Colombia. It gave so much more character and color to our experience, being with a native Colombian. I would definitely recommend Luis and his services. When we return to Bogota, we will certainly use this company again.

It was just my wife and I on the tour with a driver and guide Luis Phillipe. We were picked up from our hotel and taken to some key sites in and around Bogota. Well organized tour company. Luis Phillipe was informative, flexible, and fun. Can't recommend this tour highly enough for someone who only has a couple of days in Bogota and wants to get a feel for the city.
