10/10 would recommend spending your day traveling and learning about Bogota with Luis Felipe and Alejandro. Luis Felipe took the time to show us his home and made us feel like part of the family in the comfort of a vehicle. No need to wait for Uber or taxi, being taken from location to location with no worry of parking or buying tickets, He takes care of everything while you are able to take everything in. My family so appreciated being able to see multiple must see locations, and being able to rest in between. If you want to see Bogota Luis Felipe and his service is the absolute way to go. We can't thank him enough for his time and care.

Luis Felipe gave us the most fantastic half day tour. We contacted him at the last minute as our previous tour was cancelled and he didn't hesitate to help us. The tour was very informative and he was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. It was well worth doing and we saw and learnt far more than if we had tried to do it all ourselves. This was honestly the best tour I’ve done in a long time. I came to Bogota with my mother and we were looking for a private driver that can show us his city and teach us more about the country. Luis Felipe our driver and guide was funny, very kind, on time, flexible and so easy to be around. He has great knowledge, perfect English, humour, he understands what his clients want and is flexible to change the schedule if needed. We had such a good time - thank you very much!!

The guide was very patient and understanding. As a young lady traveling by myself I felt safe doing this tour. He was efficient with the his time for the planned half day tour. It was well worth the money!

This tour was one of the hands-down best days of my LIFE. We were in Bogota celebrating our 13th wedding anniversary, and we booked an 8-hour tour - the truth was that I really wanted to see the city, but I found it really overwhelming digging through best-of-Bogota blogs to try to plan what to do. Luis took care of that for us and planned the most amazing day! He responded on Whatsapp to my inquiry immediately, and I just gave him some loose ideas about the kinds of things we were interested in, and he did the rest. My husband isn't really into museums, but we were very interested in pre-colonial history. Luis insisted on the Gold Museum, and it was the perfect place to see, experience, and interact with that history we were craving. We spent way more time there than we expected and it just flew by because we were so engrossed in discussion and immersed in history. So, trust Luis's recommendations - he knows what he's talking about! We also went shopping through a craft market where I bought some emeralds which were extreeeemely affordable because they were mined locally, saw some art, got amazing photos at scenic spots, had Colombian coffee and cakes, and then ventured up to Mount Monserrat. Monserrat is a tiny little city on top of the mountains - we took a cable car up, visited the church which was full of very unique artifacts including Black Madonna and Black Jesus, and had lunch at the most gorgeous restaurant on a cliff with incredible views. Luis guided us through the menu: we ordered waaaay too much food but 100% of it was delicious and I do recommend the sangria. Luis is knowledgeable and professional - he took care of all the tickets, orders, and logistics - but also super kind, thoughtful, and open-hearted. He answered all our questions and gave us tons of information, but he also shared his stories and opinions, despite the fact that many of these topics, including colonization and the drug war, were painful and traumatic. We discussed ancient ways of life easily alongside current events. By the end of the day, we had learned so much, been on an amazing adventure, and felt like we'd made a friend for life. My only regret was that we booked this tour on the final day of our trip because we left exhausted, but more curious than ever and energized to learn more about this incredible country, which I think has so much to teach us about our world and our future. Luis and his brother were amazing. Beginning with our very late/early arrival time, picking us up at 2am was all I needed to know that these guys were awesome. Our stops at local markets and shops were easy and relaxing. Learning the history and culture at museums and other places of interest, Luis made sure we got the full experience. We attended a local concert and was dropped off and picked up directly after. The communication with Luis on whatsapp was perfect with no delay. They were constantly at the ready for anything at any time during our 3 day stay in wonderful Bogota. It was a beautiful place to see and learn about. These guys made it even better. Highly recommend and will be using them again when we return.

We had a 20 hour layover in Bogota and wanted to make the most of our afternoon there. This half day tour was the perfect choice. Luis Felipe was informative, helpful, and charming. Even if you have more time than we did, you could not get a better introduction to Bogota.

From the moment we introduced ourselves we sensed we would be in good hands for our half day tour of Bogata. We travel a lot (63 countries so far) and know what makes a great tour guide. Luis Felipe’s pride and love of his country first of all was contagious. His knowledge of history and background for each sight really helped us to further appreciate surroundings. And he also was able to pass with flying colors my questions regarding issues that were potentially controversial. He enabled us to become very comfortable with the city. As a solo female traveler with no English experience who’d never even been to South America before, Luis was a savior. For 3 days he was my driver, translator, security, tour guide, and friend. He met me at the airport after midnight and took me to my hotel. He picked me up and arranged a Covid test for me before my half day tour. He drove me to and from other experiences I booked. And he picked me up at 3 AM for my 6 AM flight home. The entire time, he was friendly, helpful, patient, knowledgeable, and kind. I can’t say enough about Luis. Luis Felipe was our guide and he was exceptional. Very knowledgeable, well prepared, and flexible. We added a stop at the Gabriel Garcia Marquez Center and he made that more interesting than we expected. Luis Felipe's plan for visiting the outstanding Gold Museum was perfect -- he had selected a number of key exhibits and made sure we saw them all. Managed our time perfectly, and was flexible about running over the typical tour length if we had other destinations in mind. We were a group of three personas de la tercera edad ad one thirty something, hotel pick up and drop off flawless. But my primary reason for strongly recommending this tour was the quality of the tour guide -- Luis Felipe owns this business and is committed to high quality.

Luis was an excellent tour guide and gave us a very detailed understanding of Colombian landmarks, history and culture. What makes this tour unique is that Luis is an excellent story teller and this brings to life the different places that you visit. He weaves in both personal and cultural anecdotes which was well suited to my partner who was on her first visit to Colombia. Equally so, I have been to Colombia many times and I still learned a lot as well and also ate some delicious food along the way. Highly recommended!

I hired Bogota Driver Guide Service to take myself, my partner and mother to go to the National Museum, Gold Museum and visit some of Bogota highlights. Luis Felipe was very knowleadgeable about the city and country, being able to answer all of our questions. He also spoke very good English, was always on time, accommodated my mother's needs (who can't walk very much),changed the tours to accommodate our needs and was very professional. I highly suggest people to hire Luis Felipe services!

My wife and I went on this tour on 12/30/19 (Monday). First thing we learned was that the Museo del Oro is closed on Mondays, so unfortunately we couldn't go there. In the end, this was no big deal because we had such a great time with everything else. We went to Monserrate first and the views were incredible! The lines for the cable car and finnicular were long, but very worth it. We then went to Candelaria and stopped for some arepas, empanadas, and Colombian beer (this was all included). Next we walked through Plaza de Bolivar and the cathedral, which was my favorite part. After that we saw the graffiti of Candelaria and then went to the Botero museum. His artwork is very unique, and we enjoyed seeing all his paintings and sculptures. The best part of the tour was our guide though. Luis Felipe was incredibly nice and gave us all kinds of insights into what life is like in Bogota. He spoke about the history of Colombia and Bogota the whole time, and we learned so much from him. We felt completely safe the whole time we were there, and I definitely recommend this tour to anyone traveling to Bogota.

Luis, our tour guide was friendly, relaxed, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Bogota and Colombia generally. We were as interested in Colombia’s recent history as the Bogota tour itself and really enjoyed Luis’s explanations and personal insights. Luis arranged our tour on very short notice but collected us from our hotel on time, explained the typical options for the half-day tour but gave us the flexibility to vary the itinerary as we went. Though we were tired from a long 5 month tour of South America we were really pleased we contacted Luis and enjoyed our afternoon around Bogota. Highly recommended.

My husband and I spent our 3rd anniversary in Bogota, we booked this tour to see some of the sights of the city. We surely got an unforgettable experience. Luis is very knowledgeable with an outstanding personality. He was very informative and was very patient with us as he also took us to a local market. We had such a wonderful time we also booked the Salt Cathedral tour with his company and had a night of dinner and dancing at Andres de res.
