An amazing tour with Alex. Very good on whatsapp before organizing and replying to questions.He has lots of wetsuits and water shoes of all sizes that are perfect for the tour that make it far more enjoyable. On the tour Alex was amazing. Experienced, knowledgeable and just the right amount of humour. Overall a great experience and well worth the money.

Really good experience! Javier was a perfect guide and we loved the explanation of the stars and the bioluminescentie in the water. The wetsuits that they offer are a big plus, as it prevents you from the mosquitos. Highly recommend this tour!

Great tour of the bioluminescence, the tour guide was doing his first solo tour but you wouldn’t have known he was fantastic and very knowledgeable. Bioluminescence was beautiful definitely worth doing really cool! You could also see so many stars which was a plus!

This was an amazing experience. From the seamless booking and drop off of wetsuits, into the fun jeep ride through town to the mangroves. Then the magic began with our guide Javier showing us the constellations in the night sky and finally we learned all about bioluminescence as we swam around in them, looking through our snorkel masks and making them come alive with our hands. Incredible! Finally Alex and Javier came this morning to our hotel to pick up our wetsuits…what service. Can’t recommend highly enough. Great thing to do with our teenager. Get out and do this!

When I saw the sparkles in the water, it was amazing! The guide Alex was very kind to arrange a special pick up at my hotel. We also expanded our knowledge about the stars with Alex's explanations. Definitely an unforgettable experience.

A unique one of a kind experience. Our guide sent instructions through whatsapp several days in advance, they were very helpful and answered very quickly to all of our questions. The guide and their team spoke english very well. The trip was time was set by guide, because it was dependent on the moon phase. We are very satisfied with the experience. Bioluminisence was astonishing, even those who were scared of the water went in. The guide talked about stars, planets and constellations. And also talked about bioluminisence in detail. We couldn't take the photos but this was not an issue for us, you just have to enjoy the moment.

Alex was a charming and engaging host. Service was fantastic. Wetsuit was brand new and dropped off to our resort in advance of our pick up. Super seamless. Could not have been easier. Don’t bother bringing anything. Not necessary at all.

This tour was so much fun! Booking through Tripadvisor was easy. Equipment was delivered to our hotel and Alex, the guide, contacted us by WhatsApp to make sure it was suitable and to provide final confirmation. Getting to the location was an adventure due to many huge, water-filled potholes but Alex's driver, Ana, was calm and skilled and got us there and back safely. Javi, Alex's assistant, was really engaging and friendly. Alex's sense of humour and in-depth knowledge really made this tour memorable. I also appreciated that he asked some other tourists nearby to turn off their lights - I would have been too shy to ask and it made a huge difference. I definitely recommend Alex and his team - they will entertain and amaze you...and keep you safe! Well worth the cost!

Alex our guide was wonderful! So knowledgeable and friendly. Learned astronomy and a lot about the plankton.

Alex was very knowledgeable and provided information not only of the microorganisms but because it was a very clear night, star constellations as well. He was extremely patient with a very elderly woman in our group, even carrying her at one point because of the darkness. This was our first time doing a tour like this. A tip if you book, you do not need to bring your change of clothes with you, Alex or someone from his team will pick up the wetsuit the following day. This was the only part that we were not clear on.

This was a buck list thing for me, and I was not disappointed. I was smart enough to choose a night with a new Moon, so it was exceptionally dark. We also got lucky in that it was a clear night with lots of stars. Perfect. The experience was even better than I had hoped for. Upon entering the water we were surrounded by these tiny bioluminescent plankton. Any movement causes them to light up... It's like your arms and hands are leaving a trail of stars. Absolutely magical. Our guide, Alejandro, was great. Very knowledgeable and friendly. He did everything he could to enhance our experience... even discussing the stars and constellations, which he highlighted with a laser pointer. If I could give Alejandro and the tour 6 stars, I would. Highly recommended!

I participated in a few bioluminescence tours and this was by far the most complete one. Don't set your expectations too high, the phenomenon is usually not as intense as you might have seen online, but in my experience this tour is as good as it gets.

Alex definitely made our tour unforgettable. He showed us star constellations while star gazing and explained everything there is to know about bioluminescent. Just an awesome guide to have. 10/10, would recommend.

Alex is a really nice tour guide. The communication was smooth. The equipment was dropped off at the reception and picked up again. We were picked up and brought back to our hotel (in holbox). Alex was able to show us the star images and gave us some tips how to regognize them on our own, which was really interesting and fascinating. We were lucky and had a great night, where we could see the moon set, the stars and the bioluminescence planktons and hadn't too much mosquitos around. It was a great and unique expierence!
