Modern museum with Strikingly beautiful and majestic architecture, wonderful friendly city! We made a side trip from a business meeting to Spain and we were glad! Absolutely worthwhile! We also visited San Sebastian which is also wonderful. Basque food is a delight - try squid in its own ink (delicious!).

We did 2 separate days with Iker and Basque Guides. The first was traveling from San Sebastian to Bilbao stopping at several seaside towns and visiting Guernica. Our guide, Iker, is passionate about Basque culture and history and we learned a lot. We also stopped at San Juan de Gaztelugatxe. The next day we had a private tour of the Guggenheim and visited a local winery. Iker gave us good tips on restaurants in San Sebastian and Bilbao. He's a great guide - interesting, fun, accommodating, and nice.

The Guide was highly knowledgeable about the area and it’s history. He pointed out the small items, which enhanced the tour. We highly recommend the tour experience.

This was our first trip to Bilbao. We only had one day before leaving for the Rioja wine region. Daniel was our guide, and he really did an amazing job of showing us some Bilbao highlights. We started with the Guggenhiem, but he showed us so much more! Old town Bilbao was rich with culture, and the vistas above the town were breathtaking. I would highly recommend 10/10!!

This was a great private tour of the building and key art installations and exhibits. The guide's knowledge of the topics was in depth and interesting and her explanation of the history and transformation of Bilbao was enlightening and exciting.

Daniel collected us from our cruise ship in Getxo. His English is excellent, he is knowledgeable and a great conversationalist. He took us first to the museum and explained the history of the area and the significance of the redevelopment. The Guggenheim was not guided so we spent about 90 minutes enjoying the museum and met back up for the second part of the tour in the old town. We wandered the streets and learned some history of Bilbao, enjoyed lunch and returned to the ship. We would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to avoid the large group tours.

My husband and I and our friends all had a fabulous tour today with Iker, founder and owner of Basque Guides. Iker Bardaji was very knowledgeable about the City of Bilbao, the Guggenheim Museum, and the art itself. Having someone with his knowledge really allowed me to get the most out of the trip. He was willing to accommodate some of my special requests as well.

This was our 3rd tour with Iker. By this time he was like an old friend. He is a wonderful guide who was very attentive to our interests. He was flexible with the itinerary and knowledgeable about the Guggenheim and Bilbao. He even helped us get our Covid tests. It was a pleasure to spend time with him. We were blown away by the incredible architecture of the Guggenheim, inside and out. After walking through the old town and learning about its history, we had yet another fabulous meal with Iker.

Iker gave a virtual presentation via Internet of his Bilbao and Guggenheim Museum Private tour. It was very interesting to get to know this amazing city and Iker showed a lot of impressing photos so that everybody could perfectly imagine the tour. At the same time, he answered a lot of individual questions, showing a very good knowledge of art, the city's history, food etc. All in all, we got a vivid image of Bilbao and will book him as soon as we will be able to visit this city for real.

Our guide was Iker Bardaji and he was tremendous through the entire day, explaining the main exhibits of the Guggenheim and its architecture and the main sights of Bilbao.He took us to the old town and to an amazing Pintxos bar where he had pre arranged a table for us.He also taught us a lot about the Basque culture. 100/100 good

Iker brought me and my husband from our hotel in San Sebastián to Bilbao for a tour of the Guggenheim and the Old Town section of the city. We had a wonderful time - Iker was knowledgeable, easy going, fast paced (which we always prefer) and fun to be with. As a bonus he was a great photographer so we got some terrific shots of our day. He’s also a foodie so we ended up having lunch at a wonderful pintxo bar and had a great meal eating delicious foods we would never have found on our own. All in all a lovely day and we nightly recommend Iker’s services.
