Today I had a great time with Mr Bunvath. I had a private tour so everything got explained very well. We went to the temples and biked around the old city aswell. We stopped for some beautiful picture moments and had a very tasty lunch. I would reccommend this tour for everyone!

The Siem Reap bike tour was a highlight of our 6 week trip. Chen, our guide, played a critical roll in this. He brought us on what felt like a personalized adventure through hidden treasures of the Angkor park. He provided tons of interesting information about the history of Cambodia and each of the temples, while also giving us space at times to explore on our own. It was the perfect balance.

Really terrific, lively and kind tour guide with a wealth of historical info about Angkor, Siem Reap, Cambodia and the whole region. Just enough temples and fruit break and lunch were quite good. But bike routes between temples seemed longer than necessary, and alot of the dissertation should have been done while walking to each site. From 7:30AM to later in the day it becomes impossibly hot, making the transit uncomfortable at best, and even dangerous for dehydration reasons (although we did not lack water provided by the tour.) I would recommend a shorter more compact loop of closely clustered temples earlier in the day for the less athletic tourist like me.

Great day biking at Angkor Wat complex with Grasshopper Adventures. We considered doing a self-guided audio tour, but are very glad we chose the guided bike trip instead for several reasons 1) our knowledgeable guide provided many interesting insights, 2) he knew all the best spots for photos, 3) for lunch our guide ordered a great selection of local dishes for us to sample, 4) much of the bicycling was on small paths that a visitor would never navigate on their own. It was hot when we were there, but our guide did a good job of providing cold water and keeping us in the shade where possible. The guide, the bicycles and lunch were all very good. Additionally, we felt safe biking, even on stretches of rather chaotic streets, because of our guide.

Great cycle with our guide Chen who guided us around the temples and told us about Cambodian history. Very interesting and active tour - bikes were good and local style lunch was delicious. Highly recommend this tour if you like to cycle and sightsee together.

This was an excellent tour, and I would absolutely do it again. Our guide, Chen, made the whole thing wonderful, and talked to us about the history of the country. It was really interesting and enjoyable. We got to see much more than what we would’ve seen on a bus tour. I highly recommend the tour and Chen as a tour guide. I would not only do this tour again, but I would sign up for any tour that Chen was leading - very knowledgeable, personable, and fun.

Amazing trip, got to see all the highlights of Angkor Wat threw off-road cycling. Felt great to explore the jungle and site like this, away from the general tourist route (although obvs they are still at the temples :)) Everything was well taken care of, bikes were in great condition!

This tour was the perfect way to explore Angkor Wat, and its surrounding temples and area. In between temples, we cycled through some forests as well as over some asphalt streets. Our wonderful guide Pat managed to steer us around most crowds and we could explore most areas in relative peace and quiet. Pat explained lots about the temples overall and specific decorations and reliefs in particular, as well as the past and present restoration efforts. He also shared stories about life in Cambodia in general and expertly fielded all our questions. From appropriate cycling speeds to taking pictures for us, providing delicious snacks and lunch, and making sure we didn't ride into low hanging branches on the off-road sections, we felt wonderfully taken care of at all times. We never felt rushed and ended the tour with big smiles all around. For first time visitors to the area, we highly recommend this tour, as it provides much more intimate access than the typical bus drops. Thank you Pat for the amazing day which we will fondly remember for many years to come!

Really fun trip with Bun Vath. Ended up the only one on the tour and got a lot of good photos. Very memorable experience and friendly guide.

We had an amazing time with our guide, Bunvath. We got to see the most beautiful temples that Angkor had to offer, probably some of the most beautiful in the whole world. What made this trip great was that we learned so much about all of the temples as well as the culture and history of Cambodja. Last but not least bicycling was a great exercise and was a lot of fun to do in the jungle.

An adventure of riding around the Angkor Temples and exploring the area awaits you on two wheels. You ride through an area of terrain that's sandy...muddy and you will sweat and perspire...over being on less adventurous modes of transport. Had an absolute wow of a day... So much fun...but a level of fitness is needed to complete the 25km plus bike ride over the course of the day.. You get breaks at the temples and a lovely lunch..

Great tour. There are a couple of down and up sections that might be a bit intimidating for bikers with limited experience but can always walk the bike. Awesome to see the forests around the temples and get off the main roads; a really unique way to experience Siem Reap. Pat was a great guide and took good care of us. I've been on another day-long bike ride and this was a great one.

Definitely an adventure. Luckily it didn’t rain day off but it was raining a lot the day before. The offbeat track was muddy and there were pools of water along the route. Don’t expect to stay clean. The guide was awesome in sharing his insights and history of Angkor Wat. There’s much to learn and a sad history of what the Cambodian people had to endure. Definitely worth doing this experience again!

I took my three children (ages 16, 13 and 10) on this day tour with Grasshopper. The bikes were in great condition, and best of all our guide Phat was fantastic. Very knowledgeable about Angkor Wat and also shared about the Cambodian culture as well. The riding is easy - flat, well protected - and was not a problem for our 10 year old. Thank you Phat and team grasshopper, we will hope to be back with you soon. Jack Herndon

I've been traveling in Southeast Asia for a couple weeks and have booked a number of tours. This one was the best quality and certainly the most memorable! Muen was my guide for the day. He was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, kind, willing to take photos, and attentive to my presence behind him as we rode through the jungle. He would call out "Head!" and "Mud!" and other helpful warnings. We had an active day visiting four temples: Angkor Wat, Taphrom, Ta Phrom, and Bayon. We stopped for a snack a few hours in and then a delicious lunch a couple hours later. I'm a vegetarian and I had plenty of dishes to choose from. Muen provided water throughout the day, didn't rush through the temples, stopped for bathroom breaks, and allowed us an adequate amount of time to sit and recover from biking. Our ride was pretty intense because I'm in good shape, but Muen told me that the guides can adjust the routes to accommodate all levels of biking expertise and participants' fitness. The bike I used was well-maintained, comfortable, and adjusted in advance for my height. I highly recommend this tour and Muen as a guide! A few pointers if you're considering this tour: let Grasshopper know your level of comfort/experience with biking so they can tailor the experience to you. If you're up to it, the ride through the countryside/jungle is fantastic. Be prepared to get a little dirty if it has rained recently. Be sure to buy your ticket in advance (as Grasshopper suggests) and bring it in a protective holder of some sort. I did that and also placed the holder in a small plastic bag. You'll have to pull out your ticket often. Bring a small backpack for your things. I carried: hand sanitizer, sunglasses, a hat (for when I wasn't wearing the bike helmet), sunscreen, a small bottle of water (but didn't need it because Grasshopper provided a water bottle on the bike and plenty of water along the way), and my Angkor Temples pass. You also might consider bringing a small towel for sweat/water you encounter and having your phone on a tether so you can keep track of it on the trip. I found this last item invaluable. Finally, the Angkor complex's bathrooms are spotless, available throughout the park, and are really nice. They are free to those with a park pass.

I would highly recommend this trip. This is an excellent way to discover the different temples. As the ride was mostly off road, you are also biking in the shade. This trip completely exceeded my expectations and the main reason for that was our excellent guide Kuysin. Ask for him if you are planning this trip.

My partner and I did this tour with Bunvath & Socheat. We had very high expectations but the tour was even better than expected. Bunvath was able to pick the right timing and the right spot to visit the temples in the best possible conditions, the bike track was fun and the scenarios just amazing! They both were super friendly, we learned a lot, had fun and amazing pictures, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Also, both breakfast and lunch were just perfect! Highly recommend

We went on the Angkor Temples day tour and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our guide was helpful, kind and funny. He went above and beyond by not only explaining the temples in detail, the history that surrounds them and answering all of our questions, but also pointing out local wildlife along our trip. It was very hot that day, but he made sure we were well hydrated with unlimited water alongside lunch and a fresh fruit snack break (all included). The cycle was not too strenuous, but also fun and trail like at times. The bikes were in very good condition. We did this as our first day of 3 in the Angkor Temples, and our guide was kind enough to explain what other temples we should visit on the complex (including where to go for sunrise and sunset) and even arranged for our bike hire - they were dropped at our hotel the same evening. I would highly recommend the trip to anyone interested, I am so glad we experience Angkor this way rather than in a TukTuk!
