Carlos was a wonderful, accommodating guide. He took us everywhere we wanted to go and places we would have never found ourselves. I highly recommend this tour for those of you who want to have a stress free joyful day in Big Sur.

I contacted California Pacific Excursions to organize sight seeing trips around the San Jose/Monterey/Carmel areas and I am so glad we did. Their knowledge and suggestions were invaluable. The trip down to Big Sur and McWay Falls with Carlos was excellent and we enjoyed a lovely lunch at the beautiful Nepenthe Restaurant and gift shop. The following day Carlos took us up to San Francisco for the next part of our trip. Along the coast road stopping at any places of interest along the way. We cannot recommend California Pacific Excursions highly enough, they made our trip to the US. Special mention to Ben for all his help.

This is a magnificent, unforgettable drive. I'm so glad we had a driver and could pay full attention to the scenery and not to maneuvering the very curvy, twisting road along the coast. We were able to relax and enjoy the astounding beauty of the area with our very competent driver, Carlos.

I did the Big Sur tour and the views were amazing! Our tour guide Carlos took his time showing us all the beautiful and magnificent sights and we never felt rushed. He made sure we were comfortable and got to see everything that we wanted to see. I prefer the guided tours all the way because they know where all the good places are and all you have to do is focus on the sites instead of driving. I would highly recommend this guided tour.

This was an incredible excursion. My fiancé and I 100% recommend having Carlos as your tour guide. Carlos made this trip so much more enjoyable with his knowledge, humour and friendliness. This is a must do tour!!

Excellent tour!! Our tour guide Carlos was excellent and made so many stops along the coast with ample time to explore. Stops included, but not limited to, point lobos state reserve, Bixby bridge, hurricane point, Pfeiffer big sur state park, nepenthe, Vista point, Mcway falls, and so many more interesting viewpoints. Highly recommend the tour!! One of the best ways to see California Coast!!

I highly recommend this Tour and booking with Viator. Ben & Carlos were EXCEPTIONAL! Both were very professional and added that personal touch. Carlos took us to all the spots I've been wanting to see and more. It was nice not having to drive and take in all the beauty. Pfeifer beach and Mcway Falls were my favorite. Carlos was Amazing! It was a great tour, everything worked perfectly, even with road closures due to rockfall they managed to flexibly adjust the tour and accommodate all my wishes. Carlos was a phenomenal guide. Can only recommend.

We stayed in Riverside Campground in Big Sur over 4th of July weekend and had a really nice time. The campground and adjoining Big Sur campground are both really nice with beautiful redwoods and nice campsites plus cabins to stay in. We drove south down Highway 1 and stopped off at several viewpoints that gave us fabulous views of the coastline. We stopped off at McWay Falls which is a short hike. Se also went to Bixby Bridge and pulled off to take pics; it's a very busy spot and parking is limited but we managed to find a place. It is a very beautiful coastline and if we had more time we would have gone to more places such as Point Lobos but we got a lot of sightseeing in over two days.

We did this tour in our visit to Monterey. I highly recommend. Ben and his crew are very professional and we had Carlos as our tour guide. He was very professional and took us to many scenic places. We will remember this tour forever. Don’t hesitate and do this tour!

My boyfriend and my family went on the one day trip together in April. The schedule was tight but flexible as well. The guide, Carlos, was really easy to talk to and took us to see the mose beautiful scene!

A must do!! Beautiful scenery I had a car but was nice not to have to drive. Driver let you stay as long as you wanted which was also nice. He picked up at hotel which also was a blessing as he lived close to the hotel. If you enjoy shopping he was very accommodating, which we really enjoyed along with the beautiful views along the coast and the history.

Big Sur is a must tour, and it is a must to go with these folks. Ask for Carlos! He was our guide and I have never seen such a nice and professional guide. No rush, a lot of patience and enthusiasm. We were so delighted not only to spend our day in Big Sur, but also to hang out with Carlos!
