The tour guide was great, made two extra stops that weren’t on the schedule. This trip sure was memorable

Great experience for first time to Big Island. Much easier than trying to DIY it with a rental car. Guide Derek made sure we all got lots of info, snacks, water, time for photos and bathroom breaks. It was a nice way to see the whole island and get ideas for future trips. Especially enjoyed Volcano National park and scenic drive through Waimea.

Our tour guide Henry was amazing! Incredibly knowledgeable and very kind! He gave us tons of information on the history of Hawaii. This tour was informative, fun, and memorable.

Felt this was a good option for my first trip to the Big Island. It is a long day with a lot of driving but the guide, Derek, made sure to provide interesting facts about different areas we passed through as well as providing detail and guidance at the stops. He always checked in to make sure we had plenty of water, snacks, and bathroom breaks as well as making sure we got the photos we wanted. For me this was a better option than trying to rent a car and see all of these things on my own without knowing mundane things like the locations for gas, food, etc. It was an excellent overview of the island that helped me understand what to plan for in my next trip.

Dreu was the best! His wealth of knowledge and ability to engage with the group made a long day fly by and added to the enjoyment of experience. This tour is an excellent way to see some of the best sights on the Big Island, while learning about the history and culture of Hawaii. Highly recommended!

We took a Wasabi tour with Dreu as our guide on May 1st 2024. Our trip was amazing, we learned so much on our trip and got to see a lot. Drue made the trip fun and interesting with his local knowledge. Wasabi van was comfortable, clean and perfect for the adventure. I'd highly recommend Wasabi tours for couples, families or anyone that wants to experience the Big Island. Was awesome!

Every place we visited was interesting and unique, but what was more interesting to me was Volcano National Park. Kilauea Volcano crater and Lava Tube were unique to the island. The service was very good. Comfortable and clean bus.

Brett was the tour guide and he had personality plus. During lunch he even played his ukulele for all of us. He shared a lot of good knowledge as well. The trip itself was comfortable and just the right amount of time was spent at each stop. I was going to drive the island in my rental car but so glad I didn’t. It was much better to do it this way and I got to see all the sites because I wasn’t doing the driving!

Our tour guide Henry made us feel like Ohana, he was so welcoming, shared Hawaiian traditions and was very knowledgeable about the islands history. Every stop had something different to and to top it off it’s just beautiful scenery all around the island.

Our group, 3 couples ages 60+, had a great day touring the island with our guide, Derek. He had a good sense of humor and was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive to any needs. He kept us hydrated and fed throughout the trip. Highlights included the botanical garden where we walked shaded paths surrounded by flowering tropical plants and soaring trees. Swimming in the brisk water under a towering waterfall at a private property was unforgettable. Highly recommend Derek and Wasabi Tours!

Affordable. Amazing tour guide. Gave a lot of info of the places we were visiting. Spectacular views of each place we visited. Beyond happy and satisfied with our first trip to the Big Island in Hawaii.

The tour was great! Miexia (sp?) was an excellent guide! He was knowledgeable and entertaining. I don't know if I can pick a favorite spot but really loved seeing the turtles at the black sand beach and the views from the lookouts were amazing!

We have learned so much from Chris on Bid Island and Hawai'i! He knew how to make us lough and also carefully listen for 11.5 hours. The lunch was nice, so was every single location visited. Chris was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Great history tied in with the epic sights. Coffee farm, caldera and waterfalls in the same day; wow!

Our Guide Chris was the best. His knowledge that he shared of the Hawaiian history, rainforest, waterfalls, and volcanos, was a real education. The stops and photo opportunities filled our trip with great memories,. Wanting us to return soon.
