Viewing the volcanoes and the countryside. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and fun to talk too. Would highly recommend! Tour guide made tour very enjoyable!

Our guide Scott has a deep knowledge of Hawai's volcanos, and as for his personality, he is kind and thoughtful. This tour is go-around-the-island tour by car for about 200 miles or 320 km. You'll find a big variety of landscape and climate in the Big Island. Unless we joined this tour, we never find that a part of this island is so much tropical. If your mother tongue is not English, you'd better ask him to speak slowly when he explains to you about the volcanos. He speaks very fast, just as his enthusiasm flows !

Fabulous day with Scott. He is tons of fun and a wealth of knowledge. We stopped for malasadas that were delicious. Went to the volcano and walked through the fern forest and through the lava tunnel. Then we went to black sand beach (very windy). A long day but very worth it

This was the most amazing tour. We saw so many things on the island. I believe we saw some beautiful sites that we would not have seen on a bigger tour. Scott, the tour guide, was personable, knowledgeable, funny and just fun. He was willing to stop at sites that were not on his list. He even stopped at a grocery store for us. There were 6 of us on the tour. 4 we did not know, but they were so nice and there was plenty of room in the van. If you want a unique, informative, fun trip……take this one! Can

We just had a great volcano tour with Scott. He was very kind and knowledgeable and ready to answer any questions we might have. It was four of us and it was awesome to have the small group experience. We would definitely do it again!

Great tour and operator. A little tight with six adults. Would definitely recommend waterfall was gorgeous. A great way to see the island.

This was our best tour on the big island. Scott had an amazing amount of knowledge and he loves to share that wealth as he drove us around and showed us the sights. Our most important goal was the volcanoes on the island and he didn't disappoint. It was fascinating learning about the volcanoes and the different climates on the island. Well worth with trip!

He picks out the best locations on the island and in Volcanoes National Park, which would be difficult and less efficient to do on your own. This was one of the best tours my wife and I have taken in the Hawaiin Islands. There was a lot of time in the van , I'd say almost 80% but it was worth it. Our driver/tour guide was a wealth of knowledge so we finished well informed.

We booked this trip months ago and have looked forward to it since. It did not disappoint. Scott has high energy, enthusiasm and is also curious. He did a great job going over lots of details. He listened well and made sure to include all in the experiences. We encountered all types of different weather conditions during the day. Make sure to have layers as it was pretty chilly and windy at the volcano park.

The tour was everything we could have hoped for and more. We came away better understanding what makes the island of Hawaii unique thanks to Scott's knowledge and enthusiasm for volcanoes. As the owner and chief tour guide for the Volcano Van, he was committed to ensuring a great experience and really delivered it.
