We had a fantastic experience, and we did get to see the Big Five! Our hope for the safari was to see a lot of game, and as everyone, we wanted to see the Big Five. John, our guide, made our trip an unforgettable experience with his deep knowledge of the animals, the savannah, and the history of the land. We felt that he went out of his way to ensure we got all we came to see and then some, and he succeeded; thanks! We can give our warmest recommendations for Savannah Explorers to anyone who considers a safari well-planned, well-executed, and mission-accomplished!

Fantastic 5-day Safari experience with our guide Geoffrey. Parks visited were astonishing and full of animals, especially Serengeti and Ngorongoro. We were able to see all the Big Five animals. Slightly below the other site is the Lake Manyara park: if you are fan of animals they are more difficult to see there.

This trip was a long term dream realised in spectacular fashion. Over 8 days our fantastic driver and guide, Isaac, drove us the length and breadth of 4 national parks - Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti and Tarangire. Not only did we see The Big Five, most were so close they could have been in the Land Rover with us! I struggle to think of an African animal we didn't get to see, so great was the guiding. We also managed to catch the Great Migration with more Wildebeest than you could ever imagine and 2 successful crossings of the Mara River, Crocs included! In Addition to wildlife we were introduced to many local tribes and visited several sites of cultural and historical significance. Not forgetting the additional activities, such as canoeing on Lake Manyara and bartering for African crafts in local markets. It was a blast! Accommodation both in tented camps in Serengeti and lodges outside other parks were wonderfully comfortable and colourful at the same time all contributing to the African holiday vibe. Food was plentiful and very enjoyable all around. Finally, a special thanks must go to all the team at Savannah Explorers. Not only was Isaac a truly great guide, Agustin in the office was fantastic on helping put together a truly memorable itinerary. Communication and support were excellent from start to finish. The Tanzanian people are also a joy to meet. Friendly, happy, helpful and always pleased to meet you. Me and my boyfriend took a 7 day safari trip and we were more than happy to have booked our trip with Savannah Explorer! The agency sent a detailed itenerary, explaining places we were going to visit and locations. They were responsible and punctual! On the other hand, our guide Ismail was the best. He was patient with us, explained a lot about african culture, had very deep knowledge about wildlife animals and answered all of our questions. Ismail is also really passionate about finding animals in the parks, once he had a hint he would follow persistently until found! What we also loved about him is that he was a very careful driver, making sure we felt comfortable in the bumpy roads of Tanzania. The tour itself is amazing, going through 4 national parks we had the chance to see the Big 5 amongst many other animals. We were happy also money wise. The places we stayed were all really great sorrounded with amazing nature, the best and unique experience was staying in the Serengeti Kifaru tents in the heart of Serengeti park. Hearing animals while being inside the tent was exciting! In general this was an excellent experience, the wildlife is amazing to see but how you experience it depends a lot on your tour guide. And I would definitely recommend to choose Ismail as a guide from Savannah Explorer!

It’s an amazing experience, we were looking for a travel agency well organised which could understand our needs - we are very demanding clients and also have a six years old child whit us. The program fit perfectly, every structure was comfortable and available to fulfil every of our request. We had a safari in Tanzania booked with this company and the experience was just fantastic. Organisation and logistic absolutely fine, Ismail our guide has been just adorable and top professional: we saw all the big five more than once, and some experiences were incredible, like a cheetah and her three cubs at less than two meters. Hotels and accommodations has been outstanding, especially the tented camp. We saw Tarangire (highly recommended) Serengeti (not to be missed) and Ngorongoro (incredible). We will be back for the other Tanzanian parks.

Our guide Maulid was great and we felt his respect / love for nature. It wasn't the "Mass-Tourism"-way and was really personal. The lodges and tents in the middle of nowhere were very special and the people workking there so nice. Food in the evening was a highlight as well. There are just some minor rooms for improvements (e.g. variety in the lunch box)

The organisation has been easy and smooth since the beginning! Floriana has been always available for the minimum detail, at whatever hour and day. From the « love dance » of the ostrich to newborn lions and gazelle, to the “big five” at few inches of our vehicles. What I loved the most was the respect of the animals and their nature. The accomondations in lodges and tented camps were always upper class with friendly personnel, supplies and excellent food. We saw a lot more wildlife on our Safari than we expected. What an experience! Aby is a very professional and knowledgable guide, a very safe and comfortable driver and also a very nice guy.

Maulidi is the best tourguide in this hole world. We get so many informations and his knowledge is amazing! We had so many nice safari trips and the imigration in different villages are so nice so friendly. He makes this place to a good place and i will never forget this time here. Also the lodge and the stuff there was excellent. So friendly and helpfully. They have always a beautiful smile and are here 7/24 for the guests. They do their best for our comfortable. Watching the animals up close and the information provided by our guide Thomas. Thomas was very friendly, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to cater to our needs. When I told him I was tired of eating cold lunches, he quickly arranged with the Serena lodges and we had lunch at the sister hotel on our way back to Arusha.
