When in Xian this is a must do tour. Very informative guide Cathy gave a very good insight to the creation and history of the Terra-cotta warriors.

We had an excellent private tour led by our guide Lucas. He had a great personality and escorted our group through the very crowded exhibition spaces. Lucas is very knowledgeable and communicates extremely well. We enjoyed our time with him and would highly recommend his services as a guide.

Coordination and communication with Lenna was great. I enjoyed my tour guide Noble who arrived early, was very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Other tours were much more expensive and were only offered with a group of strangers. With this tour I got my own private tour guide and driver for half of what the others cost. We knocked out the Terra-cotta Warriors in the morning then I was given the option of 2 additional sites in the afternoon. Noble also shared with me some of the spring lantern festival which I was lucky to have arrived during.

Cloris met me at my hotel lobby with driver. Took me to all the sites and some extra. Was amazing a day well spent. Her english was v ery good understood everything she said. I would recomend Cloris as a guide in Xi'an anytime. Only one shopping stop for terracotta warriors factory and was well worth it. No pressure to buy or anything. Would recomend stop here. Sophia the person I was dealing with in orginising day was amazing. She build a itinerary around everywhere i wanted to go and gave a very good price.

Our family (5) and friends (4) had a wonderful time learning about, viewing, and exploring the Terracotta Warriors of Xi'an. Our guide, Lucia, was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We moved at just the right pace for everyone, ages 45 to 6. Our driver was also safe and courteous to all of us. It was a fantastic day, with memories that will last a lifetime. Highly Recommend!!!

We had a private day tour where Shasha expertly guided us through the day with her vast knowledge of the history of the region and the Terracotta Warriors. The casual relaxed style of a professional guide was something we enjoyed, as so often we elect to just do it our selves. However we learnt so much having a guide. We saved ourselves time and money by choosing this company, we could not have gotten around Xi’an so easily in the one day we had allocated.

Fantastic service. We were taken on a comprehensive tour of the TerraCotta warriors and the Huaqing Hot Springs. The itinerary was custom made for our interests and timetable. We were picked up from our hotel at a time of our choosing and our guide Grace gave us a comprehensive history lesson full of interesting stories. We were taken for a private lunch at a nice hotel afterwards and taken back to our hotel. Everything was streamlined and professional. What impressed me the most however was that they were honest about the unpleasantness of one of our desired tour sites (apparently Huashan is very hot and crowded in August!) and found alternative ways for us to spend our time. I don't think I've ever seen such refreshing honesty from a tour agency. Absolutely would recommend to all who visit Xi'an.

The Yungang Grottoes and the Hanging Monasteries are both utterly amazing sites. On-line photos don't do either site justice, you need to see them for yourself. Quite a bit of walking at both sites, with queuing and stairs at the Monasteries - bring a sunhat and good walking shoes. I stayed in DaTong, as I suspect most tourists do. DaTong is extraordinary; the town centre is being rebuilt in traditional style with a huge 10km long wall surrounding it. My guide, Miller, was excellent and the hotel was very good. Pick up from and return to Beijing hotel went smoothly. It was straightforward meeting Miller at DaTong airport.

We arranged a one-day private tour to the Longmen Grottoes and Shaolin Temple. Our group of three was traveling between Xi'an and Beijing and wanted to fit in these two destinations in one day, which would have been much too difficult without a tour. Grace did a great job or coordinating the tour a day in advance. Our knowledgeable guide Arron spoke excellent English and answered all of our questions to really appreciate this region. We got picked up from our train in the morning and dropped off with time to spare in the evening, when our guide even helped us find our waiting area at the train station. Lunch at a local restaurant was amazing. Overall, the trip was very enjoyable and everyone was very professional. Would definitely book with them again!

I cannot say enough good things about Xi`an Tours! From booking the tour to pick up to drop off everyone was professional and so nice! We loved our guide, Noble, who was so knowledgeable and accommodating and our driver was wonderful. Sophia was responsive and professional and made the process of booking so easy! My only regret was we did not stay longer in Xi`an. When I go back to China, I will definitely go back to Xi`an and use this tour company again! We also used them to book tours in Beijing. Again, we had a wonderful experience with the whole process!

I knew this tour would be great from the moment I started looking into it! I worked with Grace to set up a private tour for eight people, and she was wonderful. She answered all my questions promptly and enthusiastically, and worked with me until we had set up the perfect schedule for our tour. Nancy, our tour guide, was wonderful. She was informative and she happily answered all of our questions--my family and I learned a lot! She was as professional as she was engaging; she was so organized and patient, and she got the eight of us through crowds and lines very effectively. She made sure that we did and saw everything we wanted to do and see. Throughout the day, she helped us by giving us advice for everything--even for the remainder of our stay in Xi'an. I arranged for a one-day private tour and saw the Terra Cotta Warriors in the morning along with Xian City Wall and Great Mosque of Xian in the afternoon. Nancy was my tour guide and did a fabulous job of explaining in depth historical aspects of all the sites visited; she had an excellent sense of humor and took me to a very reasonably priced nice restaurant for lunch. The price of the tour was well worth it and the flexibility of choosing from a variety of activities in the afternoon was appreciated. Will definitely recommend family and friends for this tour!

We first made contact with Lenna at China Xian Tour months ago and arranged for a one-day private tour of the Terracotta Warriors from Beijing. Along the way, Lenna patiently answered all our many questions and when the day arrived everything was as promised. We were picked up on time at our hotel, whisked to Beijing Capital Airport for a 7 am flight. We arrived at Xi'an and our guide was right there as promised, and the day went off without a hitch. The warriors are spectacular and not to be missed; the lunch at the Aegean Spa and Resort was also wonderful and a respite for sore feet, and the afternoon tour of Xi'an walls was a nice capping of the day. Our guide Sasha was great and our driver always safe and reliable. It was a real winner and we highly recommend China Xian Tours.

A fluent English speaking guide with a sense of humour made for a fabulous day in Xi'An. We had already biked around the top of the City Wall on the previous afternoon when we arrived in Xi'An. This is a must do activity! And we finished the day with a dumpling feast and the Tang Dynasty performance. All was organised by the tour guide. A very memorable day for all ten of us in the group!

We had a 1 day private tour in Xi'An and arranged for a transfer between airport and accommodations. The bus driver had been patient with us, a big group of 12, and was helpful throughout the tour. The tour guide speaks very well in English, was informative and even took initiative to help us when needed. It was indeed a wonderful experience.

We had 1 free day in Beijing and I wanted to see the Terra Cotta Warriors in Xian and be back to Beijing in time for dinner at 7:30 p.m. The ONLY way to make this happen was to arrange for a private tour. I did a Google search and found China Xian Tour and was able to chat online with Lenna, who was extremely helpful in making this work for us! We had a private driver from our hotel to the Beijing airport, then another driver and guide, Nobel, from Xian airport to the Warriors. Nobel was kind, funny and knowledgeable and the driver was also fantastic. Nobel personally guided us around the Warrior museum and added his own commentary. He knew how long we had to stay there and kept us on track. Also helped us navigate our way around the pavilions are there are several places to shop and to buy an autographed book. We would have never know about that place or the book had it not been for Nobel. Once we arrived at Beijing airport, it was so easy to locate our driver, who was holding a sign for us We were extremely pleased with the entire experience and would definitely recommend this tour company to anyone. Lenna is professional, courteous, responsive, and thanks to her, we were able to see the Warriors within our short timeframe - a dream come true!

What else can you wish for when 1. Your guide speaks in impeccable English 2. Understands your specific dietary requirement and brings you to a good restaurant that complies 3. Is proud of her city and it’s history and is excited to share 4. Allows you time to enjoy the venue on your own but gives you just enough briefing for you to make sense of it 5. Keeps a time check to ensure you can maximise your visit 6. Understands and creates good jokes 7. Caring enough to send you of to the train station so that you don’t miss it. I may be regretting the fact that I may not be able to get this guide again the next time I go to Xian as she will be extremely popular after this. Excellent day with our tour guide Nancy. She was well informed of the areas we visited and pleasant to be around. She suggested a small local resident near the Terra Cotta soldiers for a lunch of dumplings where we were the only Westerners. Dinner was 8 and delicious.
