It was an amazing experience using halong bay curise hunter. They took care of us from sending a message a day before to dropping us off at our accommodation. Even going beyond hospitality by checking on us if everything was good, each day. I felt relieved and relaxed the whole entire time. Dam was our tour guide and he took good care of us. Letting us know the itinerary, keeping us all together, and being so hospitable. Definitely recommend! A++ service!!

It was such a great experience! They made it super easy from start to finish. Always checking in on us to make sure everything was good. Đạm was our tour guide on the Majestic. He met us at the terminal, took us to all the excursions, and made sure our accommodations and food were great. Very disappointed with pick up/drop off serviced provided by this booking and this may be the reason to choose alternative provider to someone. Details below. Pick up: 2/10 Pickup arrived 15 min late after telling us not to be late ~5 times via messages. This is annoying in early morning. "luxury limousine" that picks you up is in very bad condition. Inside is dirty, windows sticky, all accessories are broken and cannot be used such as cup holders, nets, TVs. Aside from lucks which may be less important here, it also drives like old broken car, very bumpy and uncomfortable to sit in. "Toilet" break: 1/10 Useless. Firstly this toilet stop during drive happens 2 hours from Hanoi city and just 20 minutes to the ha long bay. At this point might as well just drive to destination. Secondly, this break is a pearl making/selling/demonstration stop. We are asked to spend 30 mins here. So 1min for toilet, 2min for coffee and then you stand around for 25min waiting. Unfortunately this stop is packed with ha long bay tour busses, so you're likely won't be able to avoid it with any company you book with, however we observed other companies getting tours and shows in this pearl stop, so although not something people want to do at least the time is filled. This exact tour for us was not organised so 25 minutes wasted standing in the car park. Drop off: 0/10 Firstly need to mention the pickup/dropoff ride and the cruise itself are not really connected. You will be taken by bus/car with different people who will then be on cruise in different boats with different companies. So after our cruise finished and we were all taken to waiting area, majority of passengers were picked up withing few minutes. Us two, and another couple, waited alone in this waiting area for another 50 minutes. That's really disappointing as the gap of people being picked up right after cruise vs whole hour later is big. Secondly the driver on the ride back was extremely rude, half of the road was speaking with second driver in very loud manner and the whole bus woke up (keep in mind majority of people resting on these rides tired after all cruise activities) and it continued for an hour. No, there was no need to shout since conversation wasn't English so nobody in bus could understand either way. Although I did not interact with this driver myself, I observed him rudely responding to other bus passenger who asked which direction is the motel, and driver was rude, used hand gestures which did not give positive vibe and didn't even give actual answer to the guy. Lastly on the 3 hour drive back we weren't even offered water. Cruise itself, which is in no way connected to transfer, was very good. I'd rate it 8/10 overall. Food - very good. Different varieties for different meals, tasty, seemed fresh. Fish/other sea food was the best. What could be improved: there were no deserts for brunch meal, beer is not included in happy hour deal, coffee should be part of buffet table for brunch. Boat - good. Communal areas like restaurant or deck were pleasant, it's not most luxurious boat out there but it's definitely good. Bedroom and balcony in cabin very good, comfortable, nice. Bathroom in cabin is what could be improved for sure, looks as well as usability. Activities on cruise - very good. Firstly, I recommend everyone to go to all activities, don't miss them! Majority of activities on the cruise ship or in the ha long bay were great, highlight for us was the cave. If any improvement could be done, kayaking could use some guidances. They kind of just dropped us and said ok go kayaking for 35min, so it was bit boring. Would be good to have guide go kayak with us and take to some specific cave or rock, tell a story etc. Most disappointing was probably swimming in the beach, unfortunately aside form beach being very small and closed up, it's also dirty and you can see plastic rubbish floating in water. Summary is, we very much enjoyed and recommended 1 night cruise in ha long bay as activity. The cruise boat/company Milalux, also very good and we would recommend. The transfer service and "limousine" bus provided by this booking left very negative experience. This maybe mean you want to research alternative providers.

Trip was lovely and people and view was amazing. Our guide Dan was fantastic. We recommend to anyone who would like to see the world through Vietnam.

We took an option with Ti Top island (hike to the top + short swim), Luon cave (kayak through a cave to a hidden valley and back), and the Surprise cave (hike). We spent ~22 hours on the boat, but it was enough. There was more than enough food. Drink prices were acceptable. The tour guide was nice and took good care of us. The transport from Hanoi was OK, though it takes people from multiple places and also drops them on different places as they go to different tours. But it seems the whole Vietnam bus transportation works like this 😀 The weather was OK but I'd welcome better visibility, check photos amd plan accordingly if it's an issue for you. Also, need to mention, the communication with the company on WhatsApp is a bit weird and unprofessional and they really try to make you write a review after the trip (sorry guys, being honest). I'm writing this in spite of that. Altogether, I recommend the trip.

This trip was amazing. It was a great way to start our trip in Ha Noi. It was incredibly relaxing as everything was taken care of including transportation to and from the port. The views are unlike anything I have ever seen and are stunning. We were able to kayak, swim, and explore the bay and the amazing scenery. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who loves nature and relaxation.

This trip was excellent and was a great way to start our vacation in Ha Noi. The cruise took us through the beautiful Halong Bay and brought us to caves on our tour. They also gave us kayaks to explore the area and we were also able to swim in the warm water. We went to Hang Sung Sot cave and Ching Nu cave. Both were beautiful. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel easily and communication with the guides was always available and instructions were easy to follow. I would highly recommend this experience.

Though the weather was not the best I enjoyed the whole trip, food & village visiting, the night view was great, worth staying overnight. Also got a ride all the way to/from port even a bit far from the center. Thank you very much!

We had a good experience with the cruise for two days one night trip. Food on cruise is excellent. Lam the tour guide has a great sense of humor. Really enjoy the happy hour, music and comfortable bed. Million dollar view from hotel window. Gorgeous halong bay is from foot of the bed every day. We also had fun making summer rolls as an activity. The only downside is WiFi in room is non-existence. There is WiFi in public area instead. Data or satellite does not work too well in middle of ocean. So for people who need to do work this might be a problem. Also drinks including coffee and tea in restaurant all has a charge. Other than these issues, we had overall good experience and would recommend Hermes.

We were hesitant between the day cruise and an overnight one, and didn’t regret our choice of the latter. Very efficient service, good transportation, the whole experience was very smooth so you can see that the crew does it every day, however all staff were so attentive and made us feel so heard. As vegetarians, they gave us good food that we can eat however it was a bit random (amongst good vietnamese vegetarian eats, we had lettuce leaves and baked beans in tomato sauce). Amazing room, very clean shower, great balcony and comfy bed.

Super nice crew, good activities (kayak, cave visit, beach). The private cabin is amazing, with beautiful view. Nice food at the restaurant !

Was a great experience, very nice and clean and comfortable. This was my second time on ha long and first time for my parents much better experience with this company. Everything was excellent and every meal we were fed till full with lots of options and catering to peoples dietary needs
