Tolga was a simply amazing guide! This was one of the highlights of our trip to Istanbul. Being able to do what we wanted w as great, none of that boring stuff in big group tours. Worth every cent, Tolga brought the history of Istanbul to life for us!

This was one of the best guided tours I have ever done. Tolga was our guide and he was fantastic! I booked the day before and decided a private tour was the best option for us, and in the crazy busy areas of Istanbul having someone focused on your group is worth every cent. Tolga picked us up from our hotel and off we went. As you pay for entry yourself you get to decide what to do and Tolga builds the day around it. He is well informed, and happy to chat about whatever interests your group. A wonderful experience that was one of the highlights for us in Turkey.

Excellent tour. Our guide Tolga was not only very knowledgeable of the sites we visited but was also courteous and dedicated. The sites are amazing. we had the skip the line tickets which made all the difference with less wait in lines and more time for the visit.

Istanbul is grander than we expected. It combines history with a modern twist with friendly people, amazing mosques and palaces as well as European like buildings.

We did a private tour with Hakan. He had lots of facts about the sites we visited. Being a private tour, there is a lot of flexibility. Hakan made sure to check what you are interested in and give choices. He gave ideas for the rest of our trip too. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend Hakan. For those from the United States, Hakan’s English is great and is easy to understand as he studied some in the U.S.

Fatma was very knowledgeable and friendly. She answered every question in detail and pointed out many things we would have simply passed by if she had not been guiding us. She was flexible and accommodating with our suggestions and we had a great experience!

I had the most amazing time visiting Istanbul due to Guided Istanbul Tours. We did the two-day tour trip and it was fantastic. There would be no way we'd be able to see everything we saw on our own in a two-day span. You need a local! Our tour guide Sercan did a fantastic job telling us about the history of the city, showing us local shops, and where to eat. I came with my parents who are a bit older, but Sercan made sure to pace ourselves as best as we could in a large city like Istanbul. Not only is Sercan a fantastic guide but a great photographer! We would have never been able to capture as many memorable images had it not been for our him! It was our first time visiting Turkiye, and we had such an amazing time that we all said we have to come back again! Thank you Sercan, and thank you Guided Istanbul Tours!!

Our 2 day trip was very nicely planned. Our guide Atlahan was very professional, knowledgeable, and diligent. Not only did he execute our programme in a very structured and timely manner, his passion for his job and pride in his was country was so very evident through the entire time he was with us. He took us to Taksim Square, Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sophia Topkapi Palace , Basilca Cisterns, Dolmabachi Palace, and Spice Bazar. He also organised a Bosphorus River Dinner cruise. Overall we are satisfied with arrangements made by the company and very pleased with services offered by Atlahan. Thank you. 👍

Ceren was an absolutely wonderful guide. Our friends were visiting us and we took them on this tour. She clearly cares about history but also was very aware of our interests and desires. She was thoughtful and answered all of our questions (and even the the ones we didn't know to ask!). Couldn't recommend more!

We decided to book a three day tour and it really was money well spent. Our tour guide Serdar was excellent, he took us to all the famous sites and was full of information regarding the history. He also tailored the trip so we were not stuck in queues but also advised on what was worth seeing at each place. His advise was invaluable advising on how to use the transport system in Istanbul which has enabled us to get around on our own. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Dena was nice enough to pick us up from our hotel in her car. She was very informative and gave us detailed history of the city. She also showed us some of the best restaurants in the area. Would definitely recommend the tour to everyone.

we did a 1 day tour with Volkan who was great! it's an all day walking tour so get your comfy shoes on. we went to the Sultanahmet mosque (Blue Mosque), the Hippodrome, the Haiga Sophia & museum, (a brief stop for local lunch) and the ground of the Topkapi palace and finally the Grand Bazaar. Volkan was super friendly and extremely knowledgable about the extensive history of the area through the centuries and of each location visited (even more detailed than the museum for Haiga Sophia which is a new video interactive place, fund for kids who have short attention spans). don't forget a head covering for the women when visiting the mosques. blue mosque offers a loaner, but Haiga Sophia does not. we bought inexpensive ones from shops along the way.

Our guide Kemal was incredibly knowledgeable, interesting and great company too, so it was as much an education as an absolute pleasure to spend two days in his company.

We spent two absolutely wonderful days with Kemal. He is sooo knowledgable about the Turkey, Istanbul and all of the complex history. We learned so much from him and all of it was fascinating! He took us to some hidden local delights as well as the incredible sights which everyone loves to see. The difference is that he tells you the stories (and funny anecdotes too) behind each and every building and experience. I honestly cannot recommend him enough. And we bumped into a couple of the other guides that he works with and all had great camaraderie so I am sure the other guides would be amazing too. We are in Turkey for a week to celebrate my husband’s big birthday and it could not have got off to a better start. Thank you Kemal!!!

We were lucky enough to spend the last 2 days with Sercan (we miss him already!). He is so knowledgeable, kind and interesting. We learnt soooooo much from him, saw incredible places - 2 days was not enough! We had a wonderful time and highly, highly recommend Sercan’s guided tour of Istanbul!

The local agent was great. She was very nice. The tour guide showed us all the secrets and showed us how to travel afterwards as well after the tour she showed us where to eat at. She was very great. She even showed us where there were nice places to hang out in night time.

We booked a 1-day private tour to visit Istanbul's old city's main attractions. Our guide was Ceren. She was very knowledgeable, and we met at the hotel. It was a busy day, but with Ceren’s assistance, we were able to avoid lines, and her suggestion to visit the Blue Mosque at a later time gave us a shorter line wait. We truly enjoyed our guide company throughout the day. Ceren raised our guide expectations for the upcoming tours in Turkey.
