We had Rona as our guide and she was wonderful. She blended history, explanations, interesting gossip along with bits of humor and made the tour exciting and informative. It was a long tour and she moved us along smartly but it was never dull. One of the other people in our tour told me that she had never walked so far and so fast but she was with the tour to the end. That shows how good Rona was. She was both interesting and insightful. Excellent tour.

Our guided walking our excellent. Meeting up at the designated point was easy and our guide Luisa was lovely. She was so knowledgeable as she has lived in Germany much of her life but more importantly she really brought history to life making events easy to understand, interesting and fun. The four hours went by really quickly with a nice 20 min break halfway through, at one point a private tour guide interrupted her and was quite rude but I really admired her professionalism in how she handled the situation and didn’t let it affect her. I’d highly recommend this tour and if you get the chance ask for Luisa!!

The tour I chose started at noon on a Sunday and finished at 3.30 pm. Giles was our English tour guide who has lived in Berlin for over 30 years. He had so much knowledge and was happy to tell us all the stories he knew. He started with a chat with pictures of Berlin when it first started and how it developed into the city we see today. then we went to all the main sites from the Reichstag to Brandenberg Gates. It was a comfortable pace but Giles was so easy to listen to, very friendly, informative and happy to answer any questions we had. It was less than £20 but one of the best tours I have taken, I have tried the bus tours but sometimes it is just a recording or you cannot understand or hear the speaker. Definitely worth the time as it covered all the sites I wanted to see leaving time for shopping. you also stop in the middle for a 15-minute toilet/coffee break. Thanks, Giles for making it so great.

Our tour was absolutely fantastic, and led by the very knowledgeable, and sometimes funny, Walid. Walid provide great history and background to each location we visited, and it was fantastic to hear his stories. The tour itself took us through a very interesting route, taking in the history and sights of Berlin. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Berlin, and it is definitely great value for money.

This walk combined history - lots of history - with a really entertaining and knowledgeable guide. Tobi is, quite simply, a star. He made a series of attractive buildings into a narrative that came alive with emotion and humour. I will recommend this tour - but Tobi in particular - to everyone who comes to Berlin.

We took the discovery walking tour with the guide Joel on Sept 27, 2023. We saw the major sites. Joel was very knowledgeable of the history of the various sites and provided very helpful information about Berlin. He spent more time with the group than was expected. Very conscientious.

Went on private walking tour with Joel. Very relatable guide who talked about history interspersed with our personal experiences. He covered a wide area (Mitte) and was accommodating and adaptive to our needs. If you plan on a group or private tour, I highly recommend requesting him.

We went with benjamim, he was Nice, kind, and he was funny, he told a very Good story about the history.

Tom, our guide, was just superb. Hugely knowledgeable with a great clarity of thought. He brought the history of the city to life with great passion and intelligence. My group of friends all loved him and we learnt a huge amount. So many trains of thought set in motion by all the fascinating information he gave us. An absolute highlight of our trip. Would highly recommend Tom to everyone.

Our half-day walking tour of Berlin was superb, and made even better by the combination of information, facts and humour from our fantastic guide, Jonathan N. This is the perfect tour for taking in all the main sites and landmarks of Berlin and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

I had a wonderful tour with Jonathan N. He did an excellent job covering a wide range of history, presenting it in a manner that was informative but not overwhelming, while also adding a touch of wit. My only small suggestion would be to allocate more time for taking photos instead of having a long break in the middle of the trip. Nonetheless, it was a fantastic tour overall, and I would highly recommend it to any of my friends.

We had a great day with Jonathan N on Monday 22 Aug. Very informative very amusing very good stops between walks and a short break for lunch. Covered all our main bases like the B gate - the Holocaust Memorial, Hitlers Bunker, Berliner Dom, Checkppint Charlie and much more. Good pace and just a great day on our first day. Highly recommend doing this tour on day one so you really get your bearings in the city. We did a boat tour next day and saw loads more!! Jonathan N was helpful and funny - brilliant day out. Perfect introductory tour of Berlin. Glen was a fantastic guide. He is a wonderful storyteller and explainer and gave us so much insight into this fascinating city.

Mark, our local guide, came to pick us up at our hotel and then walked us around Berlin. He was very friendly and had extensive knowledge about Berlin's past and present. We enjoyed spending the day with him.
