Tour was fantastic. More than expected. Sam the guide is very knowledgeable and his explanations clear. The bike ride is not strenuous and good for all ages. Highly recommend for history and non history buffs

Our guide Thor was a legend and really knew his stuff. He showed us a bunch of interesting spots around Berlin that without local knowledge you would probably go past without knowing the significance. He gave us a great overall understanding of the Nazi party and how it all transpired. Riding also makes it a lot easier on the legs. Berlin is really flat so was pretty cruisy & bike was comfy. Would highly recommend if your interested in this subject.

Biking was nice and you got to see more things than walking. Enjoyed the tour guide and he was knowledgeable and liked that he was able to go on tangents.

Alicia was a great guide for our tour and provided a thorough and detailed overview at each site. She provided great context in the late 1800s / early 1900s both before and after the first world war and then into the Nazi era through 1945. While there are a lot of buildings that have been either demolished and rebuilt or reconstructed - there are a number of spots on the tour where you can see the original buildings or parts of them including some where the battle scars were left to reflect what happened in the war. My wife and I are 54 & 52 and between the bikes and Berlin being flat - the ride was easy and the bikes in very good shape.

Felix is the best tour guide I’ve ever had. I consider myself quite well-traveled (fortunately) and have seen much of Europe, North America, the UK, and beyond. I can confidently say I have never encountered a guide more professional, knowledgeable, diplomatic, charismatic, or informative. Felix ensured everyone felt welcome, that we navigated safely through the city, and that he passionately delivered compelling and wildly insightful info about the Third Reich and World War 2. Despite rain, a half marathon thwarting the bike path, and several uneasy folks on bicycles, Felix led us with confidence and sensitivity from top to bottom. Fat Tire Tours are supreme and Felix is the cream of the crop! Give this man a raise and a promotion pronto!

We had such a fun morning. Exploring Berlin by bike and learning all kinds of new things about the third Reich and Berlin. Our guide was so good with my son.

We did this tour in September 2019 after a very (very) late night out, but were so glad that we made it! This tour provided so much context and information in 3.5 hours-- there is just no way we could have seen and learned so much without our excellent guide. Berlin is an eminently bike-friendly city and with it being fairly large physically, cycling was a great way to get around. Our guide was friendly, informative, and made sure everyone was safe and with the group at all times. As someone who wasn't well versed in World War II history, this was fascinating-- and I can only expect that WWII history buffs would feel even moreso. I can't wait to use Fat Tire Tours on my next visit to a city that offers them!

A well organized event with most helpfull staff. Our british speaking guide was most informative and new the sites and streets well. Any body wishing to see the sites of Berlin this is a must way to see most at a glance. Our tour ended after lunch and we set out on foot to go back to a few spots to see them in more detail. Should i ever get back here i will use this service again. Peddling was easy, (no hills).

I forgot our guide's name, he was from London I believe, and was great. Informative, good-nature, gave tips after on where else to go. Went around to all the WWII sites. Stopped at Berlin Wall, train station, hitler's bunker...everything you read in the description. We really enjoyed this tour and would definitely recommend it to others. Meeting point was extremely easy to find right at the bottom of the TV Tower. Couldn't have been better.

Amazing tour! Oud guide, Emily, knew so much and has a very fun personality, so eventhough the subject of the tour is a serious one, she made it fun to see all the sights and threw in fun here and there. I would really recommend this tour and Fat Bike Tours in general for your tours and bike rental!
