What an important tour to take when you're in Belfast!! Mark was full of knowledge and personal anecdotes to bring the history of The Troubles into context with this modern bustling city. Highly recommended!

We did the tour on Saturday 27th April with Cecil. This was the highlight of a wonderful trip to Belfast. Cecil was absolutely brilliant, a lovely guy with fabulous knowledge. The trip was insightful and gave information that you cannot gain from Google or reading any material. This trip is an absolute must and you will not regret it. Thanks to Cecil for being our guide and for leaving us talking about it days later.

Just done a political tour to learn more about the troubles & history of Belfast. Our tour was led by Cecil who instantly made us feel comfortable and at ease. Was such a lovely guy who not only knows his facts but is clearly passionate about it. We were extremely humbled by all the information he gave us and felt very surreal, almost honoured to be allowed to be part of it. Anybody looking to learn about the real Belfast in an enjoyable, educational manner, take one of these tours and if you manage to get Cecil, you're on to a winner.

We done the political black taxi tour with Mark, it was excellent. Mark is extremely knowledgeable about the troubles and irish history, we stopped at various places to get photos, and Mark told us further about the place where we'd stopped. I signed the peace wall, which was very moving, as was hearing about the troubles from someone who has lived through them. Thank you Mark for this memorable journey through your home town. I would say to anyone who is visiting Belfast to make this tour a priority.

Sean was most helpful to us in the Longford Town Men's Shed when organising a mini-bus to visit Stormont and the Belfast Historical and City tour. Most importantly, our driver and Guide, Gearoid, was excellent; his knowledge and understanding of Belfast - coupled with courtesy, humour and personal stories - were superb. Definitely 10 out of 10.

Great tour from Mark. Mark was extremely passionate, knowledgeable and friendly on our tour. He took us round both the Falls and Shankill areas, explaining in great balanced detail the views on both sides. A great way to spend an afternoon learning about the countries troubled past. Thanks Mark!

We went on the Political/Mural tour with our wonderful host Cecil. The tour was both interesting and informative and actually quite emotional. Our driver was very friendly and answered all our questions. Cecil is a very knowledgeable man.

We took this tour Easter weekend. Issac was our tour guide. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Issac was fantastic. He gave an unbiased, equal account of the Troubles. It was very informative and very balanced. We enjoyed his company and he welcomed any amount of questions. All the stops on the tour were extremely interesting, and Issac did a great job explaining their importance. We came away with a better understanding of the North.

What an incredibly powerful, informative and eye-opening tour. Our guide Stevie was so knowledgeable and spoke of the history of the areas we travelled through with such enthusiasm, we really felt like he was telling the story of Belfast for the first time, such was his fresh and engaging manner. A tour I would recommend to absolutely everyone.

We met Cecil at the pre agreed place and he was very friendly and mad us both feel very welcome. Cecil was very knowledgeable and gave a great commentary as we drove around the different parts of Belfast. I think Cecil was talking for the best part of 90 minutes! We didnt feel rushed, my partner and I had lots of opportunities for photos at the various spots. Some of the murals were very moving and brought back a lot of memories. We would both recommend a tour of the murals with NI Black Cab photos. HP/MD.

Without a shadow of a doubt the highlight of our three evening stay in Belfast. Stevie was our driver and the tour was an experience we will never forget. We were expertly driven around the local area and given detailed first hand information of the history of the troubles. It was very varied giving a full account of the troubles - the vehicle would occasionally stop to give more information and sometimes we would explore slightly on foot where more time was needed. Stevie invited us to ask questions and gave us thorough and detailed answers for each one. He took pictures of us to commemorate our visit and I honestly could not recommend Stevie and the company more. Diolch yn fawr iawn!

Our driver was called Cecil and he was friendly and very knowledgeable about the Troubles. The tour was thoughtfully put together and left us with a really good understanding of the Falls Road area and its history. We also like the fact that he recommended a superb old pub called the Crown and dropped us there at the end of our tour.

This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Belfast. Stevie was our tour driver and what a wonderful guy he was! He was so informative throughout the tour, telling both sides of the stories. He would stop at different places and get out to tell us the history of that particular area, and gave us time to ask questions and to take photos - he also took some great photos of us in front of the murals and at the peace wall. It really was a fantastic tour and we couldn't thank Stevie enough for being so brilliant. Highly recommend! - Aisling & John :)

Paddy was funny , friendly and full of facts. The tour was astonishing, and scary. I had no idea that walls and segregation of areas was still existing. The tour was the best thing I did on my 3 night stay in Belfast. A MUST for those who want to learn about Ireland’s political history and people.FABULOUS!

Mark was a wonderful guide. He presented information that covered all the important aspects of the Troubles. His presentation and information addressed both sides of the historical events in Belfast. It was difficult to tell what part of the history he supported, which we appreciated. He answered all our questions. This is a great activity to do in Belfast and if you can, request Mark, outstanding experience. Additionally,he cab is a traditional Black cab, not a mini-van or car, which added to the experience.
