Great instructors and equipment. The process and context was explained at length using sand maps almost like a Nat Geo documentary.

Lovely guys, great beach and solid gear. Loved it and the group was awesome too. You might need to hunt around the car park to find them at the same end as Taco Bell

Excellent team that will teach you how to surf in no time! I highly recommend to join one or two classed. You wouldn't be disappointed.

I went out with Amy at 9am on Sunday. I'm have surfed for a year but am still very much a beginner. She was SO knowledgable and made the class very welcoming and engaging. She gave us so many tips and trips for safe paddle outs and it left us feeling equipped to surf on our own the next couple days! I'll def be going back for a round 2.

I took the 2-pack of beginner lessons. The instructors were great about teaching you how to surf and pop up and the ways of the water and surf culture to empower you and share the knowledge so you could come back on your own safely. They also encouraged us to stay in touch and were happy to stay connected so we could always ask questions. It was great all the gear was provided and we just had to show up. Got up a bunch with their help and feel confident going back on my own with some buddies I met taking the course.

Al was awesome! A very thorough and genuinely interested instructor. This was my first surfing experience and it was a lot of fun and I learned a lot!

My surfing instructor Gary was great and gave amazing tips to help with technique. Surfing is quite a work-out. I recommend it this class to anyone who wants to try out surfing and do it the right way. Pacifica was a great place to catch some amazing waves. The suits and boards were also amazing quality.

Our kids (13) had a couple of group surf lessons and a private session, all with Al. He was a brilliant instructor, taught them so much about the sea, the tide and safety as well as technical skills. He also loaned me a boogie board for my youngest, super kind. They loved it, what a great opportunity to surf the Pacific waves - lucky kids! Thank you Al and Adventure Out.

The instructors were amazing and helpful! They truly wanted to see you learn and thrive. As soon as the lesson started it was the most stress free 3 hrs

I took a two days course to learn surfing in Pacifica with Adventure Out. All three instructors were amazing, Amy, Rus, and James - lots of explanations, helpful tips and hints right on spot, was so much fun with the guys! Already on the first day I managed to surf and enjoy the waves, wow what a great feeling, such a beautiful experience to try surfing and connect to the ocean. Highly recommend to anyone. Best weekend since I moved to SF!

I did the two day lesson. Had a great time w/ Al and Gary. The sessions were very informative, I had a LOT of fun, got some great advice vis-a-vis safety (saved my skin several times in the water), and it gave me a good handle on next steps to pursue to continue my surfing journey. The weather was great on Saturday, less so on Sunday. It was valuable to find out how much prevailing conditions can affect your surfing experience! Would highly recommend.

Having an instructor be by my side and encourage me helped the surfing process a lot. I would have been much more hesitant learning without an expert.
