We start at the Kottbus-Gate where the every day life of Kreuzberg meets the multicultural life of this colorful district. Turkish markets, Arabian restaurants and bistros, coffeeshops, alternative clubs and bars are gathered around this place, only separated by the famous Berlin subway line Nr.1.
We pass houses and architecture from the 19th century and come closer to the heart of the postal code 'SO 36' from which this district derives its name.
Restaurants, bars and businesses with typical Kreuzberg charm lining up and being followed by legendary clubs the 'Franken', the 'So 36' and 'zum Elefanten'.
Constantly we will discover something new and exciting. We find the 'Berlin Center for the Blind', the 'Museum of things" comic book and fashion shops.
We pass Heinrich Place with the women center 'Schokoladen', the Artist Center Bethanien in a former hospital and some leftovers from the 'houseoccupier' scene.
We walk towards the Goerlitz park and parts of the former train station, following the Falkensteinstreet to the Oberbaumbridge where East and West-Berlin met. On the east side of this bridge we encounter the famous 'East-Side-Gallery', the longest still standing original part of the Berlin Wall with its pictures and graffitti of international artists.

We passed a lot of interesting places in Kreuzberg, which we wouldn't have seen without a guide. Very recommendable walk!
The tour "Wild Kreuzberg" was very informative and interesting. Our guide was very competent and took the needs of the group and questions into account. Due to the flexibility of the guide, also the arrangements beforehand were very agreeable.
Our guide was highly competent and committed and he was also absolutely responsive to our groups needs. Very good quality! Price- performance-ratio is hard to assess, but this tour definitely is quite expensive.
Everyone was thrilled :-)
It was great. Even flexible concerning some minor changes of the number of participants.
Fabulous tour. We liked it a lot to get to know another side of Berlin. Markus was brilliant. Unfortunately, our tour started 30 minutes late. Maybe this was due to our additonal date. The group before us was too late and therefore Markus was too late for our tour. So we cannot recommend individual dates, unless there is enough time between two tours.
A very interesting, eventful tour. I did learn a lot of intersting things about Kreuzberg.
The tour was fantastic! We were a group of 9 people who mostly come from Berlin and live in Kreuzberg. We all thought this tour very vivid and interesting, our guide Markus really is a walking encyclopaedia!
Entertaining, commited, individual tour with Markus. Anytime again!
