Such a fun class. Even my husband who was skeptical left loving it. We learned a lot and Emilia was a great teacher. Definitely a highlight of our trip.

Enthusiastic teacher with clear instructions. Lots of great designs to choose from. Was a very relaxing creative experience. Be aware that it is a bit of a drive from central KL & in a private home.

My granddaughter and I had a wonderful experience. We came away feeling that we actually knew about this craft. The teacher had excellent equipment to assist us in experiencing all the facets of batik decorating. We enjoyed the surroundings where could observe many examples of the craft. Could highly recommend this session as family treat for both adults and children.

Very fun! A good break from walking around and seeing the city. Emilia taught us the essentials of Batik as well as the life lessons of Batik. Lots of fun discussions about character and how it comes through in your Batik work. Overall, an entertaining and thought provoking journey, highly recommend!

So much fun! We loved this experience, it was unique, local, non-touristic, genuine and lead by Emilia, the most friendly, fun, artist!! We learned how to do batik and paint our own tshirts and bags. It was fun and easy for all of us (7 years to 46 years) Emilia was really warm and friendly and even dropped us off at Batu cave afterwards!! Highly recommend!

Emilia runs a quality Batik workshop, clearly explaining each process along the way. She’s patient and encouraging, as well as welcoming and friendly. In addition to block stamping of bags, my daughter and I did free-hand painting of silk scarves (tricky to master, but worth doing). We both had a uniquely amazing experience and would recommend MyBatik workshops to others without hesitation.

Be sure to contact the instructor by Whatsupp before the class so she can send you the exact location . The instructor is so kind, helpful, and has the nicest soul. Her instructions are so clear and straight forward and overall the whole experience is relaxing and therapeutic💕

We had a wonderful time doing the painting on the tote bags. Brought my niece to do the workshop as I wanted something memorable from KL for her instead of just shopping and eating. Emelia is a patient and amicable person so learning is fun!

This was such a fun workshop to do with family, 10/10 would recommend! Emilia walked us through the entire process and it was cool to experience how much work batik takes, definitely makes you appreciate and respect the craft that much more. After you finish your piece, if you’ll be in town for a couple days or live in Malaysia, she can process it and send it to you, or if you live abroad, she will equip you with the necessary supplies to process the piece yourself (don’t worry, it’s super easy to follow her instructions and she even put together a step by step video you can follow on YouTube). Another plus was that she takes pictures of your group and sends them to you so you have the candid memories. Thanks again Emilia for a great class and for keeping it fun!

We had such a great time!!! Us adults and kids had so much fun learning how to paint batik!! Emilia was both attentive and accommodating !! I highly recommend this experience to locals and tourists!! We will definitely be returning!!!

I made a batik and I am extremely impressed with the quality and craftsmanship. The colors are vibrant and the design is intricate and beautiful. The fabric is lightweight and perfect for warm weather of Malaysia. The edges are finished neatly and it drapes well. I also happy that it is my handmade. I highly recommend this BATIK WORKSHOP. The owner is extremely professional, she taught me not only Batik, but also the culture and knowledge.

I would give Emilia 6 out of 5 stars!! Emilia is an excellent teacher, she is calm and encouraging. She knows how to impart knowledge and provide appropriate direction to students. It was a very relaxed environment and an opportunity to learn traditional Malaysia Art, create and be mindful at the same time. Emilia’s place is unique and artistic. I had wonderful experience, definitely recommend this place.

Emilia is very enthusiastic and guide my children well in the batik colouring. Overall it is a very good experience and we totally enjoyed every single moment of it. The environment is good and spacious. There is plenty of activities for the young children and the kids will definitely enjoy being here.
