We are World War II buffs and changed our flight so we could go on this tour. We were not disappointed. Our guide, JP, was friendly, on schedule, knowledgeable, and just a pleasant person to spend the day with. When we booked the tour we didn't notice it was on Easter Sunday but all the sights were open and welcomed us. One of the highlights was interacting with the people running these museums who view their work as a mission instead of a job. This tour was a great choice.

The best part of the trip aside from the actual trip visiting key locations and museums from the March was JB’s knowledge and his connection to the March. He shared insight from growing up with a Grandfather who was a participant in the march and POW experience.

The Bataan Death March memorial tour was memorable and heartfelt. Our tour guide Ferdinand Contereras was excellent and provided so much overview and history of the Bataan Death March. One of the highlights of the tour was also visiting the Bamban WWII Museum curated by historian Rhonie Dela Cruz. He is doing an amazing job to preserve and share the history of the Philippine, American and Japanese soliders who served in WWII in the Pacific. Also, Ferdinand mentioned to us about the American Cemetery in Manila which we didn't know about. The day we visited the cemetery, we met Vicente Lim IV who is the director of the American Cemetery. He is the great-grandson of the Philippines Brigadier General Vicente Lim who was killed in WWII. Thanks to Ferdinand we learned a lot about the sacrifices the Philippine and American soldiers to preserve freedom and democracy in the Pacific.

JB was an excellent tour guide, he knew the facts and he had lots of information. We had a great time learning the history and seeing the different locations. I unfortunately forgot the drivers name but he was very good and had lots of information as well. They both told us information about many different things on the drive. They also drove us to get breakfast and lunch. Both JB and our driver made for an amazing day of learning and exploring. We highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in WW2 history or Philippine/American history.

Seeing a replica cart used to transport American WWII prisoners during the death March. Quite touching to see that.

The guide (JB Quemado) was very knowledgeable and was able to share his knowledge through the lens of his grandfather, a survivor of the death March.

There is a lot of history in this tour. There is also a lot of driving too. The private museum of the battles of Bamban is out of this world. Worth every bit of time. The guide is fun and informative. The Philippino government needs to step up the quality of museums that testify to such important events.

For WW II history buffs and those that want to understand the atrocities that occurred to both Filipinos and Americans during the Bataan Death March, this trip was absolutely worth it. JB and Rhonnie both have family members who were involved during this time and you can tell they have a passion to discuss their stories to ensure their memories are never forgotten. The tour consisted of visiting museums, the death March km markers, the train station where they were forced to cram in, and the surrender site. It was very eye opening to stand where these events occurred and we learned so much than what we could’ve in grade school. This tour is a must!

Outstanding two day trip to Bataan and Corregidor with Jb! Learned and saw so much -- it far exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend Jb and this trip for anyone with an interest in WWII in the Pacific. He is passionate about Philippine history, and patiently answered our questions. The trip was well organized yet flexible depending on our interests, the time er spent at different places, traffic, and so on.

I've always enjoyed history and seeing the places where these events took place is incredible. It covered so many areas, not just one or two spots. JB, my guide, was great as well. He has a personal connection with the events, as his grandfather was a survivor of the march. He is passionate about this tour and has many details to share. We'll worth the money.

Awesome tour, but bee prepared for a long day and a lot of driving. I wanted to see the whole route and Our guide didn’t disappoint. Our guide was full of facts along the way. Most of these epic pieces of WW2 are becoming lost in time along with stories and memorials that honor men and women who endured. Thank you and all those that maintain the white markers and relics of the forgotten and for keeping the memories alive. As for the long drive…those fallen heroes should have been so lucky.

All stops in the tour were integral to appreciating the heroism of Filipino and American soldiers who endured Japanese brutality and atrocities during the march and imprisonment.

The most memorable part is being knowledgeable of the sacrifices of brave heroes who fought for our freedom. Its educational and we enjoyed every stop at the museum and an amazing scenic view of Mt Samat Shrine. It was a great experience!

This tour was excellent if you are into history, and JB and Vincent really made it special for us. The car they drove us around in was comfortable and they spoke great English. It was a very personalized trip to us although they had everything planned out, we stayed at each place as long or short as we wanted. Not only did we get to see multiple death march sites, but we interacted with school children, saw the landscape of a southern Luzon, ate some Philippine food and received a cultural lesson from our guides. The tour took about 13 hours but would vary some based on how bad the traffic is on a specific day.

We had a wonderful experience touring World War 2 historical sites with “JB” Quemado. JB has his own family connection to the Bataan Death March and POW camps on Luzon, and he is very knowledgeable about the history of the invasion and the liberation of the Philippines. JB is a very friendly, relaxed, and conversational guide (his English is excellent), which is great because the Bataan memorial sites are quite spread out so there is a lot of driving involved in this tour. JB is also very flexible, and he can probably accommodate any request you have to customize your tour if you want to focus on something specific - just reach out to him to discuss what you’d like to do. He went out of his way to get us to the Cabanatuan memorial when he learned of our interest in it. JB will take good care of you.
