The basket boat Tour was amazing ! We were picked up on time with the friendly driver from our hotel, then come to Vu's business and welcomed by fresh passion fruit. The owner Vu explained everything before doing the basket boat Tour extremely clearly, he also introduced a lot of things about his village. My boat driver was really friendly, always laugh and took us a lot of pictures. We saw spinning boat, casting the fishing net and got 2 crabs when did crabs fishing with the local people. We ordered 2 fresh coconuts when come back. Everything was nice and thank you very much for the Nice Trip. Thank you Vu made the nice trip for us. 10/10 want to recommended for everyone do with this GREEN COCONUT VILLAGE .

A fantastic experience worth doing! This is a very touristy activity but we loved every minute of it. Communicating with Vu was extremely easy and I will be recommending this wonderful tour to all my friends visiting Hoi Ann!

I came for boat ride and local food experience. Prompt hotel pick up was arranged and we arrived to the business for a passion fruit juice welcome drink. Then we went on the basket boat ride which was a lot of fun. Wear sunscreen and they will give you a local hat to wear. There are three stops on the tour: crab fishing, boat spinning and fish net casting. You can tip the boat driver for the boat spinning if you want. I would recommend if you can handle it. Then we got back to the restaurant for a cold drink and local foods which was very filling and plentiful. Come here to spend a couple hours in the morning before it gets too hot!

We took services from this company during our recent trip to DaNang, HoiAn & BaNa hills. Mr VU has been extremely helpful to curate our trip. Although I had contacted him only for coconut basket tour looking at exceptional reviews at Tripadvisor, with the warmth and candid discussion - we became friends. And, he went a step ahead and planned our full day trip to Hoi An, starting from hotel pickup to Marble mountain to An Bang beach to Coconut Basket boat tour to Hoi in Villlage and return plus another day trip to BaNa hills. We loved his & his wife's hospitality, services and most important a wonderful nature. Most importantly he was always there for us, connected all times and saved lot of bucks. Don't miss the delicious food and boat ride at VUs cafe. Thanks VU & to your wife for being such warm and wonderful hosts. We appreciate your efforts in making our trip lifetime memorable. Highly recommend his company and services!!

This was a great morning out with the family. Mr Vu was very friendly as were the lovely ladies that were guiding us in the basket boats. Our kids had a great time - it was a lot of fun. We went early in the morning which was a great way to beat the crowds and the heat.

Mr Vu and his team really wanted to make this boat ride an experience and they did. From the moment we arrived we were looked after, firstly greeted with a fresh coconut drink and an explanation of what was going to happen. Then the tour with our boatman Hung who was full of energy and made the experience all that more special. I did not take up the offer of going on the separate boat to be spun, thank goodness because the little spin that Hung did for us made us dizzy. A must do if you’re in Hoi An.

Pick up and drop off to/from hotel was arranged as part of the package. Driver arrived on time and took us directly there where we were met with a refreshing coconut water drink. After a short explanation about the excursion we were off to board our boat. The person paddling (no need to do it yourself) was great fun and stoped to give us ample time to take photos and she even got out of the boat to take some of us both. You can see some of the boats (or even take part) in spinning the boats quickly which looks great fun, we also made a short stop to do some crab fishing, just so give us an idea of the abundance of crabs and how locals catch them. Back on shore, beers and refreshments were available. Well worth the money, nice couple of hours.

This review is worth far more than 5 stars; 1000% book this tour with Mr Vu and his team! Book your boat tour with the Green Coconut Village, owned and operated by Mr. Vu!! Our experience thus far in Vietnam, from HCMC, to Phu Quoc Islands, and working our way up north to Nha Trang, Da Nang, and Hanoi has been an adventure, but our visit in Hoi An has been memorable beyond any other cities, thus far, all because of Mr. Vu! We booked this coconut boat ride not knowing what to expect and it was Mr. Vu that made it so memorable. Not only did he and his family greet us with kindness, he gave us thorough information about the tour we had booked, and also treated us like family with no agenda and nothing but interest in making sure we had a great experience. What was unheard of was his desire to help understand our interests and recommend shows to see and delicious restaurants with ambiance that blew our minds! He recommended we move things around because of the proximity to certain shows and festivals happening where we could kill 2 birds with one stone. It was not a sales pitch like most vendors, but he genuinely wanted our family to enjoy his beautiful city of Hoi An. Even if we asked about things to do that was not familiar to him, he went out of his way to Google things and help book tickets for us. He spoke fantastic English and could communicate between Vietnamese and English with ease. The coconut boat ride was so much fun and it was Vu’s family and crew that made it all happen. There were so many other vendors doing the same tour as us, but we could see that they did not have special moments that we had from the Green Coconut Village, such as stopping to fish for crab while on the boat (which our kids enjoyed very much), and also special stopping points for photo opportunities. We did not see other vendors stop for their customers to take fantastic photos of several different poses. We had 3 boats total and they stayed together throughout the boat ride, making it that much more fun as a family! What a great experience and fun time with Vu’s crew! When we came back from the tour, Vu had a car waiting to take us back to our hotel, and in the meantime, he helped to book us shows and events for the next few days of our stay in Hoi An. Since we had plans already to do something that evening, he kept in touch with my husband through WhatsApp and booked everything for us. He arranged to meet us out at a restaurant (that was delicious and beautiful) and went out of his way to make everything easy for us. We were even running short on time between two events, so he helped to order us appetizers at a highly recommended restaurant. The minute we sat down to eat, the food was ready and served, freshly made and delicious! Mr Vu is an amazing man and we hope you book with him; he truly is a kind-hearted man and will far exceed your expectations! ❤️. We are so grateful to have met Mr. Vu, who made our stop in Hoi An, our favorite stop so far!! Thank you Mr. Vu! We will never forget you!

I would give 10 STARS if it were allowed. The highlight of this tour is its owner, Vu. Let me explain. Everything started with Vu. Shortly after my booking online, Vu messaged me to introduce himself, demonstrate gratitude for the booking, and confirm pick up hotel location. This was all done in What's App chat. On the day of the tour, the driver was early and waited patiently for my family. After a short drive across town and towards the water, we were dropped off at the doorsteps to a restaurant where Vu greeted us with a warm smile, sat us down and had refreshments served. Here, Vu took great care to introduce himself, and once again expressed gratitude for us booking this tour with him. Then he explained all the features of the tour in detail and answered all our questions. Vu speaks English very well. He took photos for us and led us on a 25 meter walk to the boat launch. Vu set the tone for the tour with his personal introduction, however, because the basket boats were only 2 guests/boat (we were a family of 6), Vu left us in the hands of his 3 boat captains, and they continued the momentum that Vu set, keeping the tour fun and personalized the whole time. For example, they willingly and expertly took photos of us with our phones throughout. They communicated and coordinated with each other to keep our boats close so we could enjoy the tour together in the midst of a plethora of other boats from other Tours. They stopped our boats on a little sandbar and did a photo session for us. The walked in the water to get our boats situated for the photos. It was obviously incredibly personalized. No other tours did this. They all zoomed by and continued on the standard tour (which is watching the spinning boats, watching the fisherman throw a fishing net, and fishing for crab). When it came to watching the spinning boats, you could see from afar that many tours circled around 1 or 2 boats to watch them perform. When we arrived to the area our captains veered to the side and got us our own spinning boat and captain. Our 2 sons wanted to try the spinning boat. Our captains were able to communicate for us to the spinning boat captain to take it easy on the young boys. I can't say enough about how well our boat captains made our tour special and memorable. Upon return, Vu greeted us at dock and took us back to the restaurant for refreshments and relaxing. And this is where Vu stole the show again for us. Earlier I informed Vuv that we had a lantern making class after his tour, but we had about an hour in between. So I asked if his driver could drop us off near our next tour instead of back at the hotel so we could shop before the next tour. No hesitation, no problem for Vu. Then we discussed our other plans for Hoi An and Vu gave great information and recommendations. We decided to book the Memory show for that evening, Vin Wonder the next day, and the bamboo show the next evening. Vu coordinated everything and sent me tickets on n Whats App for all 3. In every case, I simply opened the tickets at the gate and they scanned the QR code for easy easy entry. Our lantern class was scheduled for 4-6pm, but our class started 30min late. The memory show started at 8pm and we had to squeeze in dinner. So during class I messaged Vu for a recommendation to eat near the show. He knew the owner of a restaurant literally across the memory bridge which leads to the show. It turned out that our lantern class was also ending later than expected so I told Vu we'd now probably have to skip dinner. He actually went you to the restaurant and helped me place orders while I was in the class with my family. He messaged me parts of the menu. After our class we took a Grab to the restaurant and the food was starting to come out. He also took care to reserve the most beautiful location outside under all the lanterns. He just went out of his way to make our evening as perfect as possible. In all those moments, Vu acted more like a close friend than a tour owner and coordinator. We invited Vu to eat with us but he had to get back to family. This is more than a review about the Basket Boat tour, which you must do with this company, but it is more importantly about Vu, a wonderful man and tour owner/coordinator that you would be lucky to meet and work with in coordinating your tours in Hoi An. He will make you very happy. Vu was the highlight in Hoi An for my family. Thank you Vu! Until we meet again.

This tour was a lovely experience, and something that all 8 of my family members enjoyed thoroughly. Vu is a communicative guide and took the time to share information about his lovely coconut village before the boat ride began. I would definitely recommend this tour :) our tip - the earlier, the better!
