Piedmont is an area where artisan cuisine and wine such as Nebiolo are regional specialties. Slow food has evolved as a way of presenting wonderful specialties, it's become a manner of using local ingredients that leads Italy, indeed the world. Slow food is favored by locals and visitors who appreciate artisan cuisine. We enjoyed slow food, it's quite delicious, particularly in colder climates.

We had a lovely afternoon. Beautiful views, wonderful selection, and explanations. The accompanying foods were a welcome compliment to your lovely wines. If I could have changed anything, I would have preferred to pay a little more and actually have the opportunity to sample the white and black labels. If someone comes to Barolo to taste wines, give them the full breadth of what you have to offer - especially if they are for sale at the end of the tasting!

i will come back, it was a great experience to taste the differences of aged whine and a perfect hospitality from the owner. I love the barolo from their whineyards.

Loved this wine tasting! Learned a lot about the wine communities of Barolo and barbaresco and tasted 8 wines! Cheese, breadsticks, prosciutto crudo, olives and crostini accompanied the tasting! Great experience! Grazie!

Our guide was very knowledgeable. and personable. cheese, meat, bread and snacks were great. The wine was the best part. We tasted roughly about 12 wines (all very good). We would recommend this tasting for anyone who enjoys wine. Leonard & Beverly

This was a great tour and explanation of their winery. The tasting was amazing and so were aperitivo’s. Thanks for a wonderful day!

Sobrero's wine tasting tour in Castiglione Falleto, Italy, was an exceptional experience. The family-run business showcased their passion for winemaking, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The tour included insightful stories, a visit to their cellars, and a delightful tasting of their finest wines. Highly recommended for an authentic and unforgettable wine adventure.

It was a lovely drive from Alba which is where we were staying. It was everything I had hoped it would be. The views are amazing and it was a clear day and lovely sunshine. It was interesting hearing about the growing and harvesting process of the grapes. The wine tastings were thoroughly enjoyable and it was exactly what I was hoping for. Thanks very much.

Do not recommend. Winery tour was suddenly cancelled and we need to spend time to rearrange schedules during our trip…

We were quite fortunate as my father and I were the only 2 people so we had the experience to ourselves. The winery is a small family estate so the tour of lands and cellar is limited but the tasting experience was really good. Informative, 9 wines, local meats and cheeses. Definitely value for money and would recommend.

We have been to Sobrero winery with a couple of friends. I liked all experience, i learnt so many interesting facts about making the wine. We stayed by the vineyards and received a lot of info. Then the wine tasting was well organized and in a pleasant atmosphere. I wished we had the opportunity to visit the wine factory and cave, it would have been interesting to add this to the experience. The Sobrero barolo is good, we left with few bottles for home.

The area is beautiful. The hills are so green with vineyards. The wine is very good. There were 13 in our group that had reservations. It was too many. We were in a lovely room but the table of 9 was one party and very loud. The person giving the wine tasting said nothing like “please keep quiet so others could pay attention”. In addition, the person giving the wine tasting was difficult to understand especially with a mask. Lastly, he had to go around to each of the 3 tables to repeat the same thing. He also was on his own with no help. Up and down the stares multiple times for the food leaving the group to just sit there. 13 people with 1 guide is not good.

I was able to adjust my work for the next day suddenly, so when I checked on Tripadvisor, the next day's tour was available, so I booked it (27 hours in advance). When I actually went to the winery on that day, I was told that they couldn't accept me because they didn't receive my reservation and they were full of customers. If they can't accept reservations more than 24 hours in advance, I think they should have a system that close the reservation at least two days (48 hours) before. In addition, they confirmed whether I had a companion. When I told them I was alone, they said they couldn't accept me. It contradicted the previous explanation that it was fully booked. I have requested a refund through Tripadvisor, but it has not been reflected yet. Anyway, I went to there all way long, it was a disappointing.

It was very nice to see the beautiful Nebbiolo wine yards before tasting started. The host gave very clear information about different grapes and wines, as well as the plants and soil. Tasting was also good and covering different kind of wines.
