The guide was very knowledgeable, and it was a great way to start our trip! The guide and the driver were very flexible and adapted our tour to our preferences. I highly recommend.

We went on a 6-hour wine country tour from Barcelona where our driver took us about an hour outside of town to the Penedes region where we visited two wineries that grow organically, One was a winery with red and white wines, with a very informative guide who explained all the production facets and issues, with a nice tasting and some snacks. The other was a small production cava winery with a very hands-on tour from start to finish in all aspects of the wine production and a very generous tasting. And our driver spoke good english and was very informative about Spain in general and the areas we were visiting, and even went out of his way to show us a few parts of Barcelona we had not seen and dropped us off at his favorite pizzeria. A very fun day.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour! Xavier was brilliant – he was enthusiastic and provided so much information throughout the tour. The vehicle was smart, clean and comfortable. The route we did was perfect seeing the Sagrada Familia, famous buildings on Passeig de Gracia and then up to Monjiuc for the sunset. The tour was adapted depending on what we wanted. Thank you!

Our city tour with Hugo was wonderful! We could not have picked a more friendly, knowledgeable guide to show us beautiful Barcelona! He picked us up exactly as noted in the confirmation email, took us on a lovely tour all around the city, and hit all the highlights we were hoping to see. Our tour with Barcelona Day Tours was everything we hoped for! We were only going to be in Barcelona for 1 1/2 days and wanted to see as much of the city as possible. We were picked up at the airport and spent the next 4 hrs seeing the sights. Our driver was so pleasant and so knowledgable about the history, art scene and architecture of the city. At the conclusion of our tour, we were dropped off at our hotel and then continued to explore the city well into the night. Our tour guide, John, was terrific! We only had one day in Barcelona and wouldn’t have been able to see so much without him. La Sagrada Familia and Park Guell were incredible and the ability to skip all the lines was such a time saver.

This was a really great tour. Our tour guide Yolanda was great- unfortunately it was pouring rain all day but she made our tour as good as could be. We had a private, comfortable clean van for 9 people. She took us to the Gaudi sights and then a nice tapas lunch.

Our pre-cruise tour with Marta was wonderful. She had lots of information to share, and gave us a good introduction to the history and beauty of Barcelona. She was great with our 12 and 16 year old children, and was able to appreciate when they were just too tired to hear more (we had just finished an overnight flight from the US). The cafe she pointed us to was perfect and at the right time for a break. Communication before the tour was easy via email. I would certainly suggest Barcelona Day Tours and Marta to anyone looking for a overview tour introduction to Barcelona.

The tour was excellent. Nicholas is an amazing tour guide and a really nice man. He ensured that the tour was per our convenience, efficient to include all that was feasible and his knowledge of the city was of utmost value. The entire day was very well organised and there’s nothing I’d want differently. If I ever visit Barcelona again and need a tour, I shall for sure reach out to the company again.

Truly professional service from this company from start to finish. We originally booked our trip for 2022 and had to cancel at short notice due to some health issues - this company issued us with a full no quibble refund which I really appreciated. Because of this we didn’t hesitate to rebook the trip with them in August 2023. We were a family of four with two teenagers visiting Barcelona for two nights before joining a cruise. We used Barcelona Day Tours for 3 transfers (airport to hotel/hotel to port/port to airport) and all of them were on time, efficient and professional. We also took a half day private tour with them - our guide was Fabio and we loved him! He was particularly great with our teens and very interesting. We visited many sights and also took a tour of the inside of Sagrada Familia. Communication from Mark was excellent throughout. Really would highly recommend this business.

Giovanni our guide was 10/10 outstanding guide who was very informative, patient and a very kind person. We really enjoyed his company on our day tour and appreciated his enthusiasm to show us his city. His knowledge of history was incredible. I also felt he enjoyed learning from us about Canada and the differences between our two countries as much as we enjoyed learning from him. Humble man with so much to learn from and this is why paying for a guide is worth every penny.
