First of all "English speaking guide" is an overstatement. Guide didn't give not even 1 piece of information. Instead he was only reading what was in the information panels for every site. And yes, that included reading the one with "don't carry knifes, weapons, etc" that he read out loud for all of us. The activity included a "park ranger" that didn't exist so for some of the places we had to go just on our own (he wasn't fit enough to go to some places) so he just waited behind. Also, the activity stated that the food wasn't included. But for the price of the activity and the cost of the food, it should've been (~ 50 baht per person). Also, absolutely no animals were seen (except some mini-lizards a few cm long), also it was stated in several places that animals use to go out from 4-5pm onwards, and the trails were closed by then to not disturb them. Which is okay but was advertised differently. The guided added 0 value. Bumpy transport because of an unmantained van over bad roads.

Unfortunately we hardly saw anything, perhaps the tour guide didn't know where wild animals were more likely to be seen in March. Unfortunately, English wasn't particularly good and was difficult to understand

Not worth the time or money. We were short on time so opted for the day trip from Bangkok. Khao Yai is a great place to visit but you need at least 2 days, so stay in Pak Chong and go with a guide who has a good knowledge of the flora and fauna of the place. We saw a monkey on the drive up, that was it. Very little information given about local plants and animals. Not worth the 3 hour journey each way. The van was extremely bouncy and uncomfortable, plus the air conditioning was barely working. The guide was kind of friendly but overall disinterested.

Bell, the guide, was good. Although, the experience I would not highly recommend it. Specially in this time of the year. The waterfalls were almost dry, we saw just a few animals from far. In the van was too hot some moments. I think this activity should not be offered, at least in this time of the year, since it is an activity where you are expecting to see some wild life or enjoy the nature. Conclusion: If you want to spend almost a whole day in the van (Barely 2 kms hike), see no animals and watch a dry waterfalls, you can do it.
