Nyoman was an excellent tour guide. Having been born and raised in Bali, he has great English from his years of conducting tours, in addition to a great deep understanding of the region, and history of each individual site - didn’t see him use google maps a single time as he navigated the roads seamlessly, he’s an excellent driver. At the end of the tour I asked if we could go to one additional temple that wasn’t on the itinerary, he was very amenable and eager to provide the best experience possible. Also took me to a killer spot for lunch outside the itinerary! Overall hardworking guy, great itinerary, very professional, and no complaints.

Nyoman was the perfect host. He showed us some amazing sights including art school, temples and rice fields. We had the most enjoyable and informative day with him. He was knowledgable and gave clear answers to our many questions. His English was perfect. We enjoyed his company and his driving was excellent. Lynn and John. We loved how Nyoman was able to help us fit everything we wanted to see into one day. He also did it where it allowed us enough time to fully enjoy and explore each place we visited. My husband and I were the only people he was showing around so he helped make it a sweet and intimate experience- especially with him perfectly timing our arrival at the rice fields with the sunset - it was breathtaking. Nyoman is extremely bright, kind and an amazing conversationalist. He is passionate about giving you an authentic experience and his knowledge of Bali is remarkable. We were lucky to find this driver to show us Ubud’s most iconic and beautiful places, in a very professional and trustworthy manner. The driver explained us every detail of the Balinese culture and even provided us with a tour in the temple with a very good level of English. Wayan was an amazing tour guide. English was perfect and very knowledgeable about every site we visited. Even took us to spots that were not planned as a bonus. I appreciated his honesty and expertise in local temples and sites. Most tour guides drive you to the location and drop you off to wander, he did not. Knowledgeable, kind, personable and attentive. This was a great tour that allowed us to visit many different aspects of life and nature on the island of Bali.

Newman planned a fantastic day for us. We started with an art school that produces fine art and supports the local community. After that we drove to view the volcanos, water temple, rice padis and waterfalls. Newman took the time to explain the culture and the customs of Balinese life. If you’re looking for a great tour guide who will look after you and plan a wonderful day then Newman is perfect.

Our guide Nyoman was excellent. Very professional and friendly. We learnt a lot about Balinese history and culture. Would highly recommend others to take a tour. Best in the morning to avoid the heat.

We had an incredible experience seeing so much of what makes Ubud so special and I cannot thank Nyoman enough. From the rice fields and temples to the Butar volcano and coffee plantation - Nyoman was knowledgeable about all of it and I could tell he genuinely enjoyed sharing his culture with us. He also took us off the beaten track at points to lesser known spots not full of tourists. If any of my friends are travelling to Ubud I will be forcing them to book this tour!
