Angelo our captain and guide made this 3 hour tour extremely enjoyable and informative. His English was excellent which helped us non-Spanish speakers. The tour was everything it promised. Excellent value for your money and time. Both my wife and I would highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful experience and can fully recommend booking this tour of the lagoon! We booked a pontoon and we’re not disappointed because there was a lot of comfortable seating and most importantly shade - since you’re not allowed to use sunscreen, i would recommend this boat option. Our guide Andres was amazing, very friendly and knowledgeable (and also played good music that fit this relaxing experience). We were offered fruit, beer, and watermelon juice. There was a lot of time to swim at different areas of the lagoon and we were able to admire all the beautiful colours. On top, you also get complimentary use of kayaks with the booking. I highly recommend the afternoon tour because the sun is less strong and you will have a beautiful view once the sun starts to sink!

We had an amazing boat ride around the lagoon with Andrés and Marco. Snacks and drinks were served throughout the whole ride. Them being extremely friendly and very informative at all of the tour points we were sad to part ways upon return. If you are looking for a boat ride, this is deffinitely your place to go!

My sister and I had a great time out in the boat and seeing the lagoon and wildlife! Diego our captain was brilliant, he told us all about the lagoon and was very accommodating! The lagoon has beautiful colours and swimming in it was awesome! We would recommend this tour and asking for Diego!

The tour with Jose (aka Banda) is fantastic. If you’re coming to Bacalar the one thing you NEED to do is a boat tour. We decided to do the group tour instead of private, and I’m glad we did because Banda was awesome and everyone else on the tour was a good time. Jose has great energy, a perfect playlist, taught us about Bacalar, and I learned a lot even though it was my second time here doing a boat tour of the lagoon. The beers kept coming and the snacks were perfect. But Jose was the best part!

We had the pleasure of taking this tour with our captain Timothy and guide Angelo. Besides being a guide, Angelo is also a philosopher, multi-linguist and fellow bike-lover. He's also quite knowledgeable about the nature and history of the Laguna. Our group was small (just my family of five and one other guests), the sites we visited were beautiful and the prices are competitive (considerably lower compared to the offer at our hotel), but I would have to say that our hosts were the main differentiator.

we enjoyed the clear blue water of the cenotes as well as the lagoon. we had enough time to spend some time in the water and enjoying this nice place. our guide diego was very friendly!

The trip was fun, comfortable and Laguna Bacalar is amazing. Daniel was our captain. a fun, very knowledgeable guide. Lots of laugh. The snacks were simple and I was glad. I didn't really want to pay for fancy food. The company priced this to be affordable, and I got a lot for my money. Really, really enjoyed it.

Fernando was the best captain we have had on any boat tours. He speaks excellent English and was very informative & educational. A very personable gent as well. We visited all the important parts of the lagoon and was able to swim & frolic several different times over the time of the tour.

Jose Bandita is very nice guy! Me and my family are happy of amazing! I do recommend him. If we go back to Mexico - Bacalar, we will for sure visit that beautiful place Laguna once again! If you hesitate - try and you will be amazed as me ;)
