The amazing spring in the middle of the Mojave Desert and towering geological formations were a wonder to behold. Our tour guide showed his love of the land with all his detailed descriptions and explanations. His wealth of knowledge was truly amazing.

This tour was absolutely the best part of our trip to Las Vegas and a welcome break from The Strip. Our guide JT had so much knowledge of the area and history, and he made us feel so welcome and appreciated. He also set the pace for the hike perfectly for the group we were part of. The tour of the Spring Ranch home on the property was very interesting and we loved our final stop at Cottonwood Station for a cold drink and bite to eat. (Try the Cauliflower Bites!). I would recommend that anyone traveling to the area take the time to appreciate the natural beauty just outside Vegas.

The tour is well paced, with a great combination of driving through beautiful scenery and a short distance walk. The highlight was our guide JT- he’s funny, kind, flexible and taught us so much about the wildlife, history of Vegas, and everything in between. Perfect half day trip. Thank you!

Steve was our tour guide and was great! (Steve told many shorts stories which reflected the history and location of our Red Rick Canyon tour - never a boring moment). …and as for the Red Rock Canyon - a really interesting and picturesque place to visit. We highly recommend this excursion.

JT was a great guide. Easy pick up and drop off. The Red Rock area was beautiful. You don’t hike a lot but you do get to see a lot. The lunch at Blue Diamond Cottonwood was superb. Beer and a sandwich with a fantastic view.

What a fabulous 4 hour tour! I’m the meeting planner for a national association. Chose this tour as an add-on to our conference. JT was a wonderful guide who was funny, entertaining and knowledgeable, and was able to connect with all your attendees from 12 to 70+. He has an obvious passion for the natural beauty of the greater Las Vegas area. We learned so much about the Native American and frontier history, as well as the geologic development of the area. Highly recommend!

My wife and I highly recommend this tour. Everything was outstanding. JT the bus driver/ tour guide was not only incredibly professional and knowledgeable about the history, agriculture and people culture of Las Vegas and Nevada, he was also incredibly caring and thoughtful. My wife suddenly took ill half way through our canyon tour and we had to leave the tour and go back to the bus. JT offered the keys to us and checked in immediately with us when the group returned. He drove super slow to the next tour stops and had my wife sit beside the door and told us to tap him and he would immediately pull over, he checked it with my wife at each stop to see how she was doing. He also recommended that we get some extra plastic bags at one of our stops to be on the safe side. Our drop off was the Treasure Island Hotel which was a 25 min walk from our hotel, but JT drove us right to our hotel. Again the tour was amazing, everything was top notch. It's unfortunate that my wife took ill and she felt very awkward and embarrassed but JT made her feel comfortable. Thankyou JT for being so caring and thoughtful and providing a wonderful tour. I hope your daughter and son do well with their flight schools and be out flying the big jets soon! Karen and Rob

My tour guide was very nice - I felt very safe traveling alone. Red Rock was beautiful. I would have liked to hike more, but I should have looked more on the description. My guide was also wonderful on taking photos for everyone. #1 Photographer

The tour, as presented, was really good. Steve was an excellent host, and his presentation was spot on. I was, however, disappointed that we never really saw the canyon. The tour was mostly around a state park. As I said, the tour was good. We just did not get to see what we thought we would see.

I thought of renting a car and drive to the red rock canyon as it is only 30 min away from the city. I did well by choosing this tour. Steve was great tour guide and explained the details of the area, trivia about Las Vegas and gave much more information while keeping us entertained.

I debated if I should do this trip on my own with a rental car as it is just 30 min from the city. It turned out that going with this tour was a great decision. Steve was very knowledgeable and he explained the details behind everything that we saw and also kept us entertained throughout.

We decided to take this tour, to get a view of the non-Las Vegas, Las Vegas. Steve picked us up exactly (I mean to the minute, 8:27 AM) and we headed out with a group of 10 towards the Red Rock area. Steve is very knowledgeable and provided all sorts of ecological and botanical data to enhance the experience. He was mindful to stop for pictures (he knows all the "Kodak moments" locations) and took us to several small towns in the area, stopping for bio breaks in several locations and a great little restaurant for a delicious homemade blueberry muffin. We visited a preserve area for a short very manageable hike and a house once owned by the homesteaders in the area. All in all, a very nice break from the concrete and neon, but also a refreshing nature experience, with great guidance by Steve.

My pictures do not do this trip justice. 100% the best experience we have had in vegas thus far. Our tour guide was fantastic and the views/experience was just phenomenal. I would recommend this tour to anyone and everyone.
