This was a good experience and the tour guide was nice. They need a clearer meet up spot to prevent confusion.

We were early for the start, but Khun Sittichoke was very accommodating and insured that we were able to enjoy exactly what we were interested in. We got started with some of the Thai style donuts, and it only got better from there! Our guide was able to explain all of the different styles of cooking on the street carts, and was able to explain what might be spicy and what we enjoy

Had a great time with Joy our tour guide. She fed us until we were full and all of the dishes she chose were fantastic. We wanted to try scorpion so she found us a vendor selling them. One of the best food tours I’ve had in a long time!

Fantastic. If you're looking for a experience with a local to help you try everything you want from the street food in Chinatown this is for you, Joy wouldn't stop buying food until we told her we couldn't eat more. It was great, must do in Bangkok if you enjoy food. Thanks Joy for everything!

I had an excellent experience with Tem and Chantana on the Bangkok street food tour I recently did. The booking was easy and at a very reasonable price. They met me at the station, spoke good English and then I was taken to about 10 different eateries, which I would have never found on my own. The food was unique and delicious, they also thrown in a few shots of Rum at their own cost! I would highly recommend this tour and my guides Tem and Chantana, they knew a lot about the food and the city. Thankyou.

My husband and i had an absolutely wonderful walkabout with Jan as we ate our way through Chinatown. The tour operator also accommodated some dietary requests and i was still (uncomfortably) full by the end of it as we had about 11 stops! Also experienced lots of back alley shortcuts and a glimpse into the lives of the locals there.

Our tour guide Jan from Take Me Tours was exceptional. She was so friendly and helpful. We tried MANY different authentic Thai dishes whilst walking around Chinatown and learning about Thai culture and Chinese New Year. We also got to participate in making a dish. Thank you Jan for a great time. Definitely recommend!

We had so much fun on this tour. Our guide Jan communicated very well ahead of time and we had no problem finding her. She took us to eat 11 different local dishes, and although it was our 4th time to Thailand, we had some things we have never had before. We had chicken/rice, shrimp dumplings, pork buns, sticky rice with pork salad and papaya salad, Chinese donuts (Michelin star food truck), pork and chicken satae, crispy pancakes, pork knuckle and water chestnuts in coconut milk. Jan taught us all the Thai names for the food and my husband got to cook the papaya salad. We also went to a few temples and she shared some history that was very interesting. Our favorite part was that she took us to alleys and places where we would not have gone on our own. Everything was very safe and was great to see Chinatown at night. Bring your waking shoes!

We had a fantastic tour a few months ago before COVID. We ended up being the only ones on the tour and we’re fortunate enough to have all the food curated towards our vegan diets. The host was nice, friendly, and informative. There was a miscommunication about drink pricing at the end and the team was very nice and paid for our drinks after a conversation. They were more interested in making a customer experience better than a few bucks. For that I very much recommend this company!

We were brought to 3 food restaurants/ stalls - Ann Guay Tiew Kua Gai, Kway Chap Auon Pochana and Mung Korn Khao Noodle. In addition, our guide Mr Sinchai also bought Thai Chwee Kuey and some dessert for us. Ann Guay Tiew Kua Gai is the most memorable for us. Guay Tiew is common rice noodle but the frying till they have some crisp is unique and innovative. In a way, it has some similarity to Fried Carrot Cake in Singapore but the distinct Guay Tiew texture is obvious. We got there early and were able to quickly get seats. By the time we left, there was a short queue outside. Kway Chap Auon Pochana has Michelin recommendation, but to the Singaporean palate, it's just pepperish. Crispy pork is tasty, but nothing to shout about. The location in front of a theatre gives it a unique identity. Mung Korn Khao Noodle is also another popular stall judging by the crowd and difficulty in getting seats. Food wise, nothing to shout about, the wantons contain shrimps which give a great texture just like those in Hong Kong. Soup is also tasty and flavourful. Otherwise, the food is respectable but not fantastic. Thai Chwee Kueh - After trying it, we shared with Mr Sinchai that the Thai version lacks certain fragrance which is commonly available in the Singapore version. The difference probably lies in the way the radish is prepared. Overall, we had a good 1-2 hrs walking around and trying various food with Mr Sinchai. He does not normally do food tours but he has certain passion about food. He also shared some advice on judging whether certain street food stalls are considered hygienic or safe to eat.

During my stay in Bangkok I booked with TakeMeTour three experiences with their experts: "1-Day Unlimited Tuk Tuk Rides in Bangkok Old Town" (the best way to discover Bangkok visiting the most interesting spots! Tuk tuk are usually more expensive than taxi and you can often incur in scams but thanks to this service you'll easily - and quickly! - run around the city),"Bangkok Chinatown Food Tour with a Local" and "Kanchanaburi: Erawan waterfall, Death Railway, WWII Museum and River Kwai". All my experiences are been amazing and their experts took care of us during all our tour! High quality experiences and impeccable service. I sincerely recommend it to all who want enjoy Thailand!
