The tour guide Ivo was wonderful. His knowledge of the history of the area was so interesting. The river boat cruise and lunch were great.

The best option to go and see the Douro Valley if you are lucky and you get Pedro as your tour guide you will have even more ama time . Don’t look for others tours this is the best!!

Our experience on this tour was amazing. Brahim was extremely knowledgable along the journey, and took us for the best breakfast and lunch in typical Portuguese environments. Brahim = AMAZING. Thank you for the best time.

This was a wonderful tour. It included tours and tastings at 2 wineries, lunch at a great restaurant, a river cruise and added stops of overlooks on route. The winery Quinta du Tero was really beautiful. Lunch included bread, salad, fish/chicken for main meal, drinks and dessert. Ivo was our tour guide. He was really nice with a fun personality and had lots of knowledge of the region.

Our tour guide Cheila was amazing. Not only was she knowledgeable but she was a pleasure and fun to spend the day with. The scenery was like I’ve never seen before. This is a full day as expected. The lunch experience was truly authentic. This experience was worth every dollar.

Overall a great experience visiting the Douro Valley! Our guide Brahim was amazing and elevated the experience throughout. The boat portion was the only underwhelming aspect of the trip as you are placed with a ton of other groups onto one boat. The wine tours and tastings were the main highlight and both were very good!

Ivo was a blast. He added so much to the day. The drive to the first wine tasting was so beautiful. The wine tour was informative the wines flavorful. The cruise on the Douro was short 1 hour but very enjoyable. We drank a bottle of wine from the tour on the boat. The second winery vieira de Sousa. Was also Enjoyable. Lunch was great local Portuguese fare in a small town atmosphere. Just a great day ,

Great tour with Ricardo! We learned so much about the Douro Valley and tried many wines. This is the must do tour when in Porto. Smooth communication, great host, beautiful tour!

We hesitated booking this, since it would take a whole day of our vacation. So glad we did it! We saw places that were so beautiful that we would have never seen without this excursion! Would recommend to all!

Our driver Ricardo was sensational. The whole tour was memorable in many ways. The Dourro was so beautiful. The stops along the way whether to take a photo or to taste wine was fun. Loved the little bakery as first stop. We tried to decide our favorite experience and couldn’t make a choice. Worth every euro!!!

Breath taking scenery and great wine tasting experiences. Our guide Johnny was a great ambassador for Porto and Douro Valley. He used a mic enroute during the van ride so our group could easily hear his commentary and gave a robust history of the area. There were opportunities for nutrition and hygiene breaks. He even changed a low tire on the van while our group was in a wine tasting at the first winery. We were not delayed. Both winery tastings were excellent with very different styles. We enjoyed both. Going inside the ancient wine barrel at Beijo winery was funny and particularly memorable. We highly recommend this tour.

The guide makes or breaks a tour- Piedro was the BEST!!!! And the frosting on the cake was the wonderful group of people we met once boarding our comfortable van! The Douro valley was beyond our expectations beautiful - seamless transitions from pick up to boat trip to vineyard visit/ wonderful lunch with spectacular view! Can’t say enough about the quality and experience. Feeling so grateful… thank you!!!

Great day out. Views were spectacular. Really enjoyed the winery visits. Lunch was above and beyond expectations, really good food and enormous portions. River cruise was a delight. Our hostess Diana was excellent, very friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this trip.

We had a great day visiting the Douro valley with Pedro. He was well informed, professional and nice. The valley is beautiful. Everything was well organised and they were even able to organise a vegan lunch for us. I enjoyed hearing Pedro's tolerant views about life in Portugal on the way back to Porto.

Our Duoro Valley wine tour was nothing short of exceptional! Brahim was our guide and I could not give him a higher recommendation given his vast knowledge of the area, Portuguese history, wine, and kind demeanor. He has really done his homework. If you like to learn, he is the guide to have. The tour views were outstanding - providing views not only from the river beds but also from the top of the hills. All of the wines were delicious and we surprisingly loved the olive oil production tour. This may be the best part of our trip to Portugal, but we have many days ahead. Regardless, if we come back to Portugal we will do this same tour and try to have Brahim as our guide!

Brahim was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Portugal as well as the Douro Valley Wines, not to mention extremely fun and kind. This trip was the perfect balance between relaxation, meeting new people, and learning. 10/10 experience, the best part of our trip to Portugal!
