Very pleasant afternoon enjoying a short horse ride outside of the city centre in the foothills of the Andes - very calming of the mind after enjoying the city. Joaquin was a knowledgeable and approachable guide. Glass of wine and snacks as the sun went down back at the ranch to round it all off.

I was really looking forward to this and it did not disappoint.! Joaquin was an amazing guide, the trail and scenery were gorgeous, and the wine and cheese were a perfect end to a great afternoon. Also, I can’t forget to mention Max the dog, who immediately greeted us upon arrival, and his kitty friends. Overall, this was a wonderful experience that I would definitely recommend.

Beautiful late afternoon hack in the hills above Santiago. Stunning views, relaxed and chats with Joaquin about the flora and fauna. Very peaceful and ended with a delicious glass of wine and nibbles. Horses were very calm and well cared for. Highly recommended. Thank you!

We throughly enjoyed the private horse riding tour that we did in April 2024. Joaquin picked us up from our hotel in Santiago and took us out to the ranch in the foothills of the Andes. We took the horses on a fantastic trail with fantastic views and eagles flying overhead. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone with a morning spare in Santiago.

We had a fantastic time. We were picked up on time, the horses were very calm and we had a great ride. I had 2 kids with me and they made sure to keep an eye on them to ensure they did well. The scenery was so beautiful and so peaceful. Joaquin, our guide, had great energy and we enjoyed sharing travel stories over cheese and drinks. Even Max was adorable.

This tour was wonderful!! I have very little experience riding horses, only a few times prior, but Joaquin made this experience so comfortable and pleasant. The horses are so calm and the landscapes throughout the entire trail are beautiful. I’d highly recommend this tour especially if looking to get outside of the city and into nature near Santiago.

Our family had an incredible experience riding in the Andes on horseback for about 2 hours. The scenery was simply breathtaking, with majestic mountains and stunning vistas at every turn. For my daughter, this was the highlight of our entire trip! After the ride, we were treated to delicious food and wine, which added to the overall experience. One of the most memorable moments was getting to see a newborn horse that was just over a week old—such a special sight. Therese, our guide, was fantastic. She not only picked us up but also dropped us off downtown promptly, ensuring we made it to our next tour on time. The horses were gentle and sure-footed, making the ride around the mountain a perfect day for us. The scenery was truly unbelievable, and the entire experience was magical. If you're looking for a unique and memorable way to explore the Andes, I highly recommend this horseback riding tour!

Fantastic way to spend the afternoon. Never been on a horse ride like it going up and down the trails (only been on a horse once before and had great fun). Had alot of fun spending time with our guide Will and his wife both on the ride and having wine and cheese after. Something a bit different for a trip and so glad we did it. Max the dog was also lovely.

We were picked up at our hotel and driven in comfort to the ranch in the mountains. The horses were very healthy and well taken care of. The views and the trail ride was spectacular!!! Our guide was the owner and you can tell that horses are her life. We are avid horse trip family. We usually take horse trips on our vacations and this one goes down as one of the best for all the boxes. Views, horses, and overall experience. Highly recommend!!!!! Our tour guide also gave us great ideas for side tours in town. Five Star

This was fun experience just 30 minutes outside Santiago. Our guide Joaquin was awesome! He was very friendly and fun to spend time with. He was very knowledgeable about the horses and the area where we were riding. The ride in the mountains was wonderful and the wine and cheese snacks after were a lovely finish to a great half day experience. It was nice to be picked up and returned directly to our hotel.

Beautiful horseback riding with the Andes in our background. Gustavo is a great guide, extremely knowledgeable, and took a lot of pictures for us. After the ride we had delicious Chilean wine with meat and cheese before heading back to the hotel. Highly recommend for people who like animals and being outdoors.

Gustavo took us horse riding in the mountains at a private farm just north of La Dehesa which is a very safe area to the north east of Santiago. From the start of the tour, it was very clear that the horses were very well maintained and trained to provide a safe experience, even for beginners and intermediate riders. There were great views from the mountains, including sightings of other horses, native trees and cacti. The tour ended with a beautiful grazing board. Thank you Gustavo for taking us on what is easily my most favourite horse ride ☺️ The tour organisers were very good at keeping us informed about changes to dates, our tour guide, and information about pick up and drop off. The tour ended at 2:30pm, giving us lots of time to enjoy the rest of our day! Thank you Gustavo 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

The feeling that this would be a good experience started as soon as we booked the trip. The organizer sent message within a day or two to my US cell phone. The day before, he texted us the exact time for pick up and name of the guide. Communication has been superb. It was our lucky day: our guide is an American expat, Will, a Marine veteran retired to Santiago with his Chilean wife. They do this tour guide for passing times. Both of them came to pick us up and, while Will was riding with us, his wife set up the wine tasting. We spent a lovely afternoon with them. They also went above and beyond, on the way back, Will drove us around the town and showed us where the artisan shops and good restaurants are. We had a great afternoon and this tour is strongly recommended for those wanting to experience a huasos riding in Andes.

We arrived in the morning from our cruise and had wanted a little something different than what the cruise could offer us. So we booked the horseback riding excursion. From the time we booked we were in total contact with the operator. We requested to be picked up from the hotel at the airport which was all arranged. Gustavo arrived at the hotel to pick us up and drove us to the mountain. He was very pleasant and calm as our guide. The horses were well behaved as we were beginners. Unfortunately we weren't able to enjoy the wine and cheese as we had time constraints to return to the hotel and check in for our flights. I definitely would recommend this to anyone who wants a different adventure and a memorable one.

Was a wonderful morning through the foothills. Beautiful view, relaxing pace and Gustavo, our guide, was a true Chilean cowboy with a wealth of knowledge. Very much enjoyed our experience. Loved the dog who never stopped running throughout the ride.

We had so much fun! Joaquin was a fabulous guide and the landscape was spectacular. The horses are well cared for and trained....there was a horse for every ability level from beginner to experienced riders. The snacks were lovely and included excellent wine, cheese, fruit, etc. A must do experience for anyone who loves nature, adventure, and animals. Pick up/drop off was easy and timely......right at our hotel. And our guide communicated with us regularly via WhatsApp.
