A wonderful 2 hours spent learning/tasting fabulous Vienna wines. The conversation was enjoyable, educational and simply a great afternoon!

It was in a nice neighborhood, not far from the Parkring, in a very comfortable and well designed, nicely appointed tasting room. Wine selections were excellent and very representative of local viticulture, and were accompanied by a nice Charcuterie Board. The best thing about the tasting, was our Host, Stylianos. He was not only extremely knowledgeable but friendly and engaging. It was a delightful experience and we’re looking forward to getting some Gruner Veltliner from him in the near future.

Very warm greeting followed by 2 1/2 hours of white and red wines. A whole lot of explanations and anecdotes supported by very pleasant slides. I had an excellent time with Stylianos. I was on a solo trip and interested in tasting and learning about Austrian wines. Stylianos was great company and extremely knowledgeable. He customized the tasting to my preference, taught me how to navigate Austrian wine labels, and shared fun stories of his experience in the wine business. This is a great way to taste a diverse set of producers and varietals.

This was an authentic wine tasting with a knowledgeable wine professional. The wines were top of the line and well selected. We learned a lot about how to identify excellent Austrian wines from the merely good and the not-so-good. The instructor teaches you how to decode the label and how to shop in the future for the wines you enjoy at your price point. This is a great example of “you get what you pay for” and the extra cost compared to other “tastings” advertised is well worth the investment if you enjoy an evening of fine wine and good company. Highly recommend for wine lovers or anyone who wants to learn more about Austrian wines.

An amazing wine tasting experience. Stylianos really takes the time to walk you through how to taste wine and understand the subtle differences. It's a really informative session. He provides a ton of detail on Austria's wine making and history. Stylianos even accommodated us shifting time slots on short notice. This is a must attend for both serious and casual wine enthusiasts.

Very informative, good wines. We were lucky to have the other couples in our group cancel at the last minute so ended up with a private tasting. Stylianos is very personable and presents the information to meet the level of his guests. He encourages questions and is happy to provide answers. We felt very comfortable and felt like we were talking with someone we had known for a long time. Overall, it was a very good experience and we recommend it for anyone interested in learning about Austrian wines,

We had the most amazing experience with Stylianos as he showcased some of Austria’s best wines. He was incredibly knowledgeable on all things wine and tailored the experience to us - more wine enthusiasts rather than connoisseurs! We left not only knowing more about what wine to pair with food as we travelled through Austria but also some great tips on wine in general.

Out host Stylianos gave us a wonderful experience, navigating through Austrian grapes and wine. We defiantly recommend this wine tasting.

During our (2 couples) three-night city break to Vienna (Nov 24-27) we did the Austrian Wine Tasting. I wish to make clear from outset that our host was extremely personable, knowledgeable and very engaging. But it was the venue that left us all, including at least two other people present, a bit disappointed (and, dare I say it, feeling a bit misled). The tasting is sold (marketed and illustrated) on basis that venue is a traditional-looking wine cellar. And that was the appeal to our group. What we got was a ground floor office, with tables and chairs, overlooking the street. It could not have been further removed from what was expected (the picture attached says it all). In addition, we did not expect six full glasses of wine, that would not have been sensible and responsible of the organisers, but I suggest that most attendees would have anticipated a little more volume overall. Each tasting consisted of a small measure that in total (six measures) would have amounted to 1.5 glasses max. I would suggest a better approach would have been to offer the taster measures to suitably enable the host to educate as he did, and at the end offer all guests a larger measure of their preferred wine from the four white and two red tasted... That deals with the negative. The positive was the host, how educational the near-three hours proved to be, particularly gaining an understanding of an excellent Austrian product that is barely stocked in the UK (which is a real pity). The nine people in attendance also got on very well and I believe we all left the afternoon with a far greater understanding of how to approach our wine purchases and actual tasting going forward. It's just a shame that the venue on this occasion left us feeling a bit flat...

This was a very interesting and informative introduction to Austrian wines. Our guide was very knowledgeable and set a great tone for the tasting of 6 wines (4 white and 2 red). The charcuterie provided was a nice complement to the wine, which came from a number of regions.

Stylianos was terrific. Very personal and knowledgeable about all thing Austrian wines. Wines were varied and delicious. Mix of whites and reds. Nice touch with the cheese and meat platter.
