Family wanted to visit a couple of specific stops, but the Lyft max stop limit and the unknown of who we might get as a driver made us look for a more formal and quality option. Tour busses had too many logistics that were not elderly friendly nor did my family want to be exposed to large groups. In connecting with Viator chat, we confirmed that this tour could be customized to swap out for a couple of preferred sights. Henry was the perfect engaging and knowledgeable host, and this was the perfect option. Personalized attention, door-to-door pickup/dropoff, in-depth historical information about key spots, and an all around great experience to learn about the city from the comfort of a nice vehicle. Definitely recommend.

Henry’s tour was very fun and informative.. He toured us through several neighborhoods and shared the history of each along the way, pointing out all landmarks. His vast knowledge about Atlanta is impressive! Highly recommend!

Henry was very knowledgeable on the history of Atlanta! He provided so much information, it was very interesting and informative. My husband also enjoyed Henry and the tour. We feel like we know more about Atlanta than our own hometown!

Nice clean car picked us up. There was complimentary water. The guide was pleasant and knowledgeable. There was a big event while we were there and some important streets were blocked off but the guide knew his way around. Without repeating the tour description, we got to see what we paid for by our personal car and had opportunities to take pictures if we wanted to.

My mom and I did this tour and it was the highlight of our trip. Henry knows so much about the history of Atlanta. We learned many things we never knew. Highly recommend this tour.

Amazing tour with a super knowledgeable guide named Henry. I didn’t realize how rich this town was with history and my historian guide went over the top. I highly recommend this tour. It was a nice ride, clean car, and easy drop off and pick up. 10/10.

My fiancé (as of this night with Henry) booked this tour and neither of us knew what to expect. Neither of us had been to downtown ATL before. Henry has an amazing personality, it truly felt like we were hanging with one of our friends. What I love the most about this tour was the education given. We live in a world where, no matter your race, our history is forgotten. We are all human, regardless of color and we all as humans should be educated of our fellow brothers and sisters. The education we learned about Martin Luther King Jr and his family was our favorite part. So much of the history Henry provided has been hidden, manipulated, and most importantly forgotten. He also helped my boyfriend PROPOSE to me that night, it was truly so fun! Will forever be a favorite memory of ours.

We booked this tour online two days ahead and received confirmation tickets. On the morning of the tour we waited outside our hotel for twenty minutes before deciding that no one was coming to pick us up. We were never given any means of contacting the driver. We had to go back online to TripAdvisor to find a contact for Viator. The customer service representative was able to contact Henry, the tour operator, who said he had not received our reservation. Fortunately, he was available. As said in many other reviews, Henry did a great job. However, somebody dropped the ball with the reservation. At the very least, the confirmation should include a phone number to contact in case things go awry. In the end, we enjoyed the tour despite the 45 minute wait.

Henry was an amazing driver and tour guide! We learned so much about Atlanta's history, and had such great conversations with him! The only drawback was it went by way too fast!

I had only one day in Atlanta. I went thru all the options. I liked this one after I read the reviews. I even called to make sure I was going to get the ride. I was waiting in my hotel and I got an email saying this tour was cancelled. No explanation. I am so angry. I do not recommend it.

Me and my lady were in town for a quick getaway and wanted to do something a little different and decided to give the luxury car tour of Atlanta a try, and I’m sure glad we did. We got picked up from our hotel in a nice and spacious SUV by Sir Henry! Let me just say that Henry is the man. He is very accommodating and his knowledge of the city, and overall US history is A1! From Auburn st to Inman Park, Olympic Park, and etc...ATL has a lot to see, and we were able to get a good taste of what this city has to offer through our experience. Thank you Henry and Thank you Viator for such a fun time. We’ll definitely look to try some of your other offerings on our next visit!

What a fantastic experience. If you are looking to learn and enjoy the history of Atlanta, or if you are just wanting a quick overview of the city you are visiting, this is the place to start. Henry was personable, knowledgeable, and more than willing to answer questions during our tour. The fact that he picked us at our hotel and dropped us off again at the end of the tour made the experience even more enjoyable. Having a private tour experience allows one to feel that this is a first-class adventure. I set up our tour because of all the five star reviews; now that I have been on the tour, I know why this is so.

By far one of the things you need to do in Atlanta. Very detailed and fun. Having your own private tour guide will give the experience you need and some things you'd never learn about Atlanta doing it on your own. Henry was great and made it very enjoyable.
