An emotionally warm tour in the cold of the desert's fall. The guide was great. I wished we would have observed more familiar objects with the telescope, but unfortunately the morning is the best moment to spot planets while the tour is at night.

This has been the absolute highlight of the whole trip! The atmosphere that Rodrigo creates is magical, you can feel his love for and knowledge of the stars with every story he tells. I even came back a second night because I was so amazed and learned so many new things because no tour will be the exact same.

The tour was amazing, the best experience in Atacama. A must do. We were lucky with a beautiful night full of stars. Rodrigo explained us everything he knew and showed us the most important constellations. We used the telescopes to see the stars, and after that we had a bonfire and a snack and hot drink.

Worth every penny. If not for Pedro's excitement you feel during his presentation, it still be worth it just to be there. Tour has photos, looking at different objectives through a telescope, snacks, a bonfire afterwards and very well communication regarding pick up. 10/10 I'd go again with them.

The way things were explained was so magical and entertaining. Would definitely book again if I went back to San Pedro. The telescopes were so cool.

The tour starts with a pickup from your hotel/hostal and drives you to a dark and remote area in the Atacama desert. The tour guide, Rodrigo, is extremely knowledgeable of the cosmos and pointed out multiple stars and constellations in the sky with a laser pointer to make identification easy. We sat with cozy blankets that were provided. He spoke clearly in English, Spanish, and Portuguese to all those who joined. We were able to look through 2 telescopes to see different clusters of stars, Betelgeuse- the dying star, and the surface of the moon. Rodrigo was very patient and detailed in explaining everything to us. The night finished with lighting a warm bonfire and wine, hot chocolate, and snacks. Overall, a really unique and educational experience for anyone who wants to know more about the star, planets, and enjoys nature

This was such a magical and educational tour! We learned so much from Rodrigo, who is obviously an expert on the night sky. He also had the best voice - worthy of podcasts and bedtime stories! Pablo did a great job with taking a very memorable photo.

The tour was very very very good and all my expectations were exceeded! The whole evening was designed with a lot of thoughts and care. Rodrigo explained a lot about the sky and the stars and we could watch the sky with the eyes and through two telescopes. In addition to that some drinks and snacks were offered and the location itself was prepared in a really nice way. There was even a restroom and explanations were given in Spanisch and English. We even got a picture with us sitting below the stars of Atacama Desert. I absolutely recommend this tour to everyone!!!

Amazing experience! The tour guide- Rodrigo - was super informative ! He delineated the southern night sky . The views of the sky were to die for . In addition, to the powerful telescopes we were able to see the Jupiter and two of its moons, the star Betelgeuse , and a super close up of a crescent moon . Highly recommend!

This was probably my favorite tour we did in all of San Pedro de Atacama! The guide was SUPER knowledgeable and knew so many facts. He had a laser pointer so powerful he could shine it on individual stars to show us which ones exactly he was talking about. We learned to identify several constellations in the sky like Orion’s Belt, Gemini, Taurus, Leo, etc that were visible that night. He also had two powerful microscopes that we used to see Jupiter and its moons, beetlejuice, and about 4 other things. The wine, hot chocolate, snacks, and blankets were a fantastic touch. They even have a little house with a bathroom built nearby. The same information was being translated in both English and Spanish. I am absolutely confident that by choosing this specific tour we chose the best option. Thank you for the magical night!!

The sky was incredible and the views from the telescopes were impressive. I wish I would have researched astronomical photography before taking the tour. The lesson in identifying the constellations was good, though being in a circle of chairs might not be the best for seeing all of them. Maybe laying on blankets? The photographs against the milky way could have used some explanation. I thought it was an attempt to sell portraits from the event.

Awe-inspiring, professional stargazing tour with so much knowledge imparted and the opportunity to see stars through powerful telescopes. It is one of the highlights for sure of our long holiday in South America. Thank you, both, for a great evening. Wendy and John

Excellent evening. Rodrigo provided a comprehensive guide to the stars above us. And we got to look through a couple of high quality telescopes. We very much enjoyed the evening and learnt some surprising information about the southern sky.

So it turns out February is s slightly mixed month weather wise and there is the chance that cloud cover can impact your view of the night sky. We did however manage to get a relatively clear night to enjoy the night sky after waiting a few nights due to poor weather conditions. The wait was completely with it!! The level of detail that you can see in the night sky from their site was incredible. The site is 6km way from to town so there is minimal light pollutionto spoil the view. Rodrigo is fantastic, incredibly knowledgeable and really keen to pick up on any questions. Given the chance if I was back they I'd certainly go again.

This tour left us speechless!!! So much attention to detail!! They were great about WhatsApp group messaging. We never doubted if we were going to actually get what we paid for or get picked up. We were picked up right on time and taken to a nice location free of light. There were lawn chairs with blankets in each one. I thought that was a very personal touch since it gets a little chilly in the desert night.The lawn chairs were perfectly sized to rest your head back. Rodrigo is so intelligent and a wealth of knowledge when it comes to astronomy!! He spent a good hour maybe more pointing things out in the sky, and how to spot them, discussed names etc… I’m not sure what the other review meant with not enough time spent. He spent a lot of time pointing things out, and then let us look at four different things on the telescope. Each time he had to reset to a new position and let all of us see. There are two professional telescopes on a concrete pad for you to look through. It was definitely a life changing experience. After the educational part we had a nice bomb fire, with wine, hot chocolate and snacks. It was a great time socializing after. While socializing Pablo was taking photos. He is also fantastic at what he does!! Don’t let the few reviews keep you from booking. I was a little hesitant because of that. Keep in mind not everyone takes time out to do this. This tour will not disappoint!!

With many options for astrotourism in San Pedro Atacama, I can tell you this is the company to use!! Rodrigo is an expert, guiding us through the sky with both the naked eye and with telescopes. He was very helpful taking a photo of the moon through the telescope as well. The souvenir photograph is wonderful to have as a memory of a great evening.

only spent 30 minutes in the night sky. rest of the time Rodrigo was helping people take photos of the stars. we were very disappointed. Rodrigo is exceptional we just needed more.

Rodrigo has the passion for astrology and he knows how to transmit his knoledge, Pablo meanwhile takes great pictures!

Very good experience! The whole set up is great, the area, the presentation, the telescopes, and Rodrigo definitely knows about the sky. We had a great evening.
