Words cannot begin to describe the professionalism, kindness and hospitality we experienced with Takims and our spectacular host and driver Rajabu. My husband and I decided to honeymoon in Tanzania and Zanzibar, and it was a trip of a lifetime. Our flight landed in Kilimanjaro and we’re immediately greeted by Rajabu, he made us feel at home right away! He was knowledgeable of Tanzanias history and culture which we were both eager to learn about. Our itinerary started with a hike on Kilimanjaro and then we proceeded to our first accommodations. Raj always made sure we knew exactly what was next on our itinerary without feeling rushed or chaotic. Our schedule was always smooth and flexible. The minute we started the game drive in mayanra national park, we knew we got so lucky as Raj would spot all of the animals immediately! Making our pictures of the game drive always an adventure. He literally has eagle eyes and would spot a leopard from a mile away! He ensured we always had a lunch packed and would often setup a private picnic for us in whichever park we were visiting. With him as our guide we managed to catch 4 crossings during the migration! We often saw giraffes, zebras, elephants and more but the biggest finds were always the cats! We saw multiple lions and their cubs, and the highlight find was 3 cheetahs in Serengeti, what a sight! Finally after we thought we had seen everything, Raj coordinated with our hotel to drive to us a private bush dinner, it was an unforgettable time. Took a tour today of Arusha National Park. We went with Monkey Adventures who will by the way be our safari guide for the next 11 days. A great park loaded with animals. Saw Colobus Monkees, giraffe, warthog, zebra, elephant, blue monkey, baboons, flamingos, to many birds to count, and bushbuck. The landscape is stunning. Do not miss this park.

Arusha National Park is a little gem and well worth the visit. Eli was our guide into the park and very knowledgeable about the nature of the park and its surroundings. There was plenty of wildlife and Mt Meru and Mt Kilimanjaro were both in good view that day. We also did a safari walk with a ranger and got up close to some of the animals. It’s a beautiful place and I would recommend it to anyone. Farron and Martha

We went to Serengeti National Park in Tanzania and stayed at Lemala Nayunkie Lodge. En route we stayed at Arusha Coffee Lodge which is a tourist attraction/resting point while on your way elsewhere in Tanzania. That lodge is a coffee farm and monkey sanctuary that also houses a really cool art workshop staffed by local residents with intellectual disabilities who create glassware and art for the hotels throughout Africa (available on Etsy too!)! Lemala Nayunkie was amazing!! The staff and lodging were 10/10, plus we saw elephants, baboons, antelope, and giraffes from our bed, deck, and private pool ! We went on all day or 4 hour game drives (you can choose all day or 1-2 drives a day) and saw lions, cheetahs, leopards, hippos, water buffalo, zebra, and ostrich in addition to everything we also saw from our room but within a stone's throw! We were sad to leave the Serengeti but went to Zanzibar Island and stayed at Xanadu Villas. Zanzibar is absolutely beautiful with the Maluuma cenote, white sand beaches, and spice plantation tours that show you why the food in Africa is so delicious and flavorful. Fun fact: most of the world's clove plant/spice comes from Zanzibar! In the Indian Ocean the tide comes in and goes out more dramatically than I've ever seen (Maine was close!) so you can explore tide pools and find a bunch of sea life later in the day. If you have an interest in seeing wildlife and the outdoors I can not suggest an Tanzanian safari enough!

Absolutely perfect from the second we got into the airplane till the second we headed back to California.

My experience included the flexibility by our guide Iddy, to facilitate individual interests, so that I was able to visit a Masai market, and view the process of beekeeping in Africa (I am a beekeeper) and to get some local honey! Also, the guides knowledge of all birds and animals through out our trip to Conservation areas and National Parks was incredible! The elephants came so close, it was a lifetime thrill! Along with lions, giraffe, leopards and many other wildlife encounters.

The best Vacation I've ever been! It was my first time on safari and it was unforgettable. Our guide Masatu is amazing person. During the trip he told us so many interesting thinks. Because of him we saw big five, also he drove extra kilometres for us so we can saw more interesting animals. I will never forget about this 3 days. Thank you for the best experience in my life!!

We would give Takims 10 stars if we could. Working with them to plan our honeymoon in Tanzania and Zanzibar made everything so easy. They answered all our (many) questions and planned the trip of a lifetime. We did 5 days on safari and 5 in Zanzibar and we wouldn’t change a single thing about either portion of our trip. We toured Arusha National Park on our first full day of safari. Our driver guides, Harry and Fredy were amazing - very knowledgeable and helpful.

This is my third time traveling with Takims Holidays and once again they surpassed all my expectations in their seamless service! Our driver Aloyce was fantastic! The moment he picked our group up from the airport, he was very communicative for our 4 day safari itinerary. His knowledge of the birds in Ngorongoro crater and Tarangire National Park was amazing! He even remembered to point out a Lilac Breasted Roller which I had asked to see at the very beginning of our trip. The accommodation recommendations by Takims Holidays were great and exceeded my expectations. They took care of everything including all the necessary paperwork which made our visits to the parks seamless and a pleasant experience. I highly recommend using them, their attention to detail and customer service is terrific.

Me and my husband had an amazing trip to Arusha visiting Ngorongoro crater and Tarangire... We had an amazing time thanks to Takim Holidays, our driver Eloise made sure we were safe at all times and ensured we were able to see as many animals in the parks as possible. He was helpful and attentive! Our accommodations were amazing, rooms spacious, comfortable and clean and food was really good as well!! We stayed at Lemala Mpingo tarangire and Marera lodge in Ngorongoro!! Both places had amazing views...and nice swimming pools surrounded by a beautiful green scenery!! Very peaceful and relaxing!! I will suggest you pack a nice jacket to keep you warm, specially at Ngorongoro crater unless you go in the summer... We did sundowners in the bush and watched a beautiful sunset while sipping mimosas!! Our driver picked the perfect spot!! Highly recommend this company whenever you do safaris or holidays in Tanzania, they're experienced and will make sure your trip is one you'll never forget!!

A memorable holiday trip to the Crater and Tarangire National Park! Takim Holidays provided us with an informative guide/great driver, a comfortable car with all necessities and superb accommodation. They really paid attention to every little detail throughout the trip, and delivered beyond comfort as personalized arrangements were made for us. All in all, a flawless experience!

We usually travel outside the country to celebrate our birthdays.. but due to the global pandemic we decided to explore our country itself and we are so glad we did this. The package was an excellent choice. Takim's went out and beyond to make it a wonderful and memorable experience. Aloyce, the Ranger was the cherry on top. He absolutely knew what he was doing and a walking encyclopedia. WE LOVED HIM. We are already looking forward to our next trip in a couple of months and I am sure Takim's will be just as an amazing experience then as it was now.

The Safari was excellent with Takims having a superb support structure. Abbas was of great help helping us to setup a wonderful trip as per our liking. Also once in Tanzania the vehicle prvided to us was very good along with good support from Kareem bhai in Arusha. I would certainly book a safari through Takims in the near future.

Complete satisfaction with the care of our driver Masatu. Amazing observation of animals up close. A lion resting on a tree, zebras, wildebeests, antelopes, buffaloes. Meeting with elephants and giraffe at a distance of a few meters. Watching lion family in hiding.

We did the crater and the Serengeti over 5 days with Takims travel. It was a last minute trip given the uncertainty of travel this year, and Abbas and Nawel helped us plan the itinerary and finalise it all within our budget within a week from our trip date! They also stayed in touch during the trip to make sure all was good and we got our covid test done and results on time from the hospital, which involved a lot of chasing the hospital up from their side - we really appreciated this :) All the places we stayed were somewhere I would stay again. The dinners were always fantastic and each place had beautiful sunset views and friendly staff. Our for guide, Fred, was just fantastic! I've been on several safaris and he is up there with some of the best guides I've come across - he was so flexible, great, safe driver and just truly lovely and friendly. I will be requesting him for future trips!! We saw the migration - which was amazing !!!! Just the sheer numbers were overwhelming :) Fred also made sure we saw the best the crater and the Serengeti had to offer. Really special trip.

As we watch all our pictures we took during the safari, I must say how happy we all are, we enjoyed every minute of our Safari which was expertly organised by Takims Holidays Tours and Safaris.
