Second, Mr. Oscar Godoy is an AMAZING tour guide. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and full of good/positive energy. My husband and I feel like we really learned a lot from Oscar during our tour of the Anthropology Museum. I highly recommend requesting Oscar Godoy when you book. Third, we visited the Anthropology Museum our very first morning of a first-ever trip to CDMX. It set us up well for later tours of the Basilica of Our Lady and an Urban Art bike tour. I felt like Oscar's "tutorial" provided an excellent base for the rest of our visit.

Andres was one of the best guides we’ve ever had at any museum. He was passionate, interesting and knowledgeable about all aspects of the pre-Hispanic cultures in Mexico. Our time at the museum just flew by and we came away with a great appreciation of a portion of what this vast museum offers. We’d love to come back; there’s even more to see here.

Oscar managed to show us the history of Mexico from 2500 BC to when the Spaniards colonised the region, but also he talked to us about the whole Mexico region and not just the main central part. He knows myths and legends. He gave honest answers and told us many of the dilemmas and different opinions of the various archaeologists and anthropologists. Despite it being 3 hours, our kids were entertained and Oscar had some jokes with them too.

Our guide, Oscar, was very knowledgeable and his passion for the subject matter made it come alive for us, as well. He was an excellent guide and, in fact, by the end of the tour, we considered him a friend. We recommend him very highly.

The Anthropology Museum is a gem in presenting the history of the area, and our guide really allowed us to get the most out of it. The museum is very large, and could easily be daunting - especially for an English only speaker who can't read much of the signage. Our guide curated some of the most important parts, explaining their importance and how they fit into the broader picture. I would not have enjoyed the museum 1/2 as much had it not been for our wonderful guide.

If you can book 📖 this tour, our guide was Oscar and he was very good and knowledgeable. From the start tour was amazing and went at our pace and interest. We learned and saw a slice of Mexican history,which wants us to learn more. The museum is so large and incredible ,you can spend days here . But our guide showed us amazing selections of history. If you can BOOK THIS TOUR, you won't be disappointed!!!!

Oscar was our guide & he did an amazing job of sharing his extensive knowledge of the many cultures represented at this amazing museum. We were all engaged by his enthusiasm and he took great care to show us as much as possible in the time we had. It was interesting to hear what is known and what was speculated....there is a lot they still don't understand and that is sometimes as interesting as what is confidently known. Highly recommend!

The Anthropology Museum is must-see if you're visiting Mexico City. It is an unbelievable collection of stone sculptures, pottery, jewelry, and artwork that will shatter your notions of what the Aztecs, Mayans, and other pre-Columbian peoples were like. They were incredibly sophisticated (as well as brutal). We got so much more out of the Museum with Oscar as our guide as he filled us in on the history and other stunning details about the items on display. It's well worth your time and money to hire him as a guide!
