Great experience! Glauco was very nice and knew a lot of things about the site. We would have enjoyed even more time with him but sadly we only had 2,5 hours until closing. Glauco has an exciting way of presenting the site and kept us curious all the way. Thank you Glauco!

My wife and I booked a tour for the Pompeii ruins and we were very happy to have Glauco as our tour guide. He is very knowledgeable about the site’s history and told us very interesting details about the buildings we were visiting. We learned so much about the site and some of the aspects of the daily life of the people who lived there. It was also neat to learn more from the always interesting stories from the Roman mythology. Glauco is also very professional and attentive. He made sure we would have a great experience by taking us on paths to avoid the crowds and giving us time to take pictures at the prime locations. We are very happy to have booked this tour with Glauco. It definitely made the experience at Pompeii much more entertaining and purposeful. We would definitely recommend this to our friends.

I think that’s it’s pretty much essential to have a guide in order to fully enjoy Pompeii and Glauco wasn’t just ‘a’ guide but an ‘excellent’ guide. The hidden details are what he brings to life plus he is also able to answer any questions that pop up. He’s friendly and kind and you feel very much taken care of. 100% recommend him.

Eccelent guide for learning about Pompei. Both all information on the history, about the people that lived there, but also which way he guided us to avoid ques and be able to get the best look on everything.

Made a booking on the same day with Glauco to visit the Pompeii ruins in the afternoon. Initially we had some miscommunication as Glauco didn’t realize it was a same day reservation, but thankfully we were in touch via WhatsApp and he was very quick to respond and still met us on time. The tour itself was quick to start; unlike other guided tours where they burn 30 minutes at first going through instruction, we dove head first into viewing Pompeii. Glauco efficiently and expertly led us through all the main and important sites and explained in very clear and precise language the cultural and historical significance of all the landmarks in addition to pointing out some myths. I would absolutely highly recommend Glauco as your guide for Pompeii; excellent English, ability to explain and answer questions on the fly and absolutely committed to making sure guests have an excellent experience even helping with the logistics of getting back to our hotel. This was a fantastic tour- Pompeii is much, much less crowded in the afternoon and the temperature more pleasant. Out guide Glauco kept the teenagers engaged and very much tailored the facts and descriptions to their interests. Great tour, great guide. Highly recommended

The early bird catches the Glauco! We were SO LUCKY to have gotten Gauco as part of our Pompei and Amalfi tour package from Napoli City Vision. We had the BEST time with Glauco, who specializes in historical tours for people that don't like to get stuck in huge crowds. He provides a high and deep level of knowledge of Pompei, with so many fascinating things he shared with us about the people, culture, society, and life in Pompei, which was about 500 years old when Mt. Vesuvius exploded in 79 A.D. My wife, teenage daughters, and I just loved our time with Glauco in Pompei. He is a great person, so smart and funny. But most importantly he knows his work and will provide you a great experience.

This was the coolest and best tour of Pompeii. I have been once before, but nothing compares to Glauco’s tour. He is amazing! Super knowledgeable, so kind, happy to adjust his pace to accommodate the group he is with. Even offered to take photos of our group, which all turned out amazing. I had the BEST tour with Glauco - highly, highly recommend, and I’m not usually into tours. Where can we start? Glauco is the most intelligent, responsive and professional guide we have encountered in Italy (16 day self- booked) itinerary. We met a couple in Rome last week who kindly shared the best highlights of Sorrento ( the were in Sorrento the week prior). They gave us Glauco’s contact information and said we must contact him ASAP to book any of his available trips. Because of our tight schedule, he fit us into a group of 4 to tour Pompei. He met us at the train station, moved us through the lines and navigated the park like the professional he is. Many of the guides and park staff knew him and greeted him with a smile. A few minutes into the tour we decided that his descriptions needed to be recorded, so between my husband and I we will take home so much history! We booked the Pompeii tour with Glauco after a recommendation from our friend and travel advisor. She had just had a tour with her own family the month prior and had absolutely raved about her experience. Well, per usual, she was absolutely right! Glauco's tour of Pompei was amazing. He is clearly passionate about the area, extremely knowledgeable and was able to condense the whole experience into an enjoyable 2 hours. I had no idea how big Pompeii was, so we were so grateful to have Glauco there to personally guide us through it all. Not to mention our group size, ie the two of us and him, seemed way more enjoyable then being herded around in a large group. We highly recommend him - I am sure he is just as great at any of his other tours!

We have been on several private tours with private guides during five trips to Italy over last seven years. We thought Glauco was the best guide of all even though we have had very good guides. His communication style, English, and friendly manner were wonderful. I cannot give a higher recommendation. Our travel agent hit a home run using him.
