Butrint is an incredible historical site. It’s also a beautiful national park. The combination is unbeatable.

What an amazing day at Butrint! Gerdi was a fantastic guide and took us through the whole of Butrint, explaining the ruins as we went. Since it is quite a huge park with very little information posted, I recommend booking this tour to get the full experience.

Our tour guide was amazing and gave us the best tour we could have wished for! Even the more critical ones in our group were mesmerised by his engaging storytelling - we really can’t recommend Gert enough! We had some trouble at our pick-up spot. First of all the office hadn’t received the tour we ordered the night before. We were supposed to go at 10:30, but ended up with being rebooked to 16:45. Because the guide had difficulties with locating our apartment, the tour first started at 17:30. Waiting was frustrating, especially since we only were in contact with the viator office, and not the guide directly. We were offered a refund for one of our friends who had an appointment later that night, which we appreciated. Still we would recommend to contact Gert directly, write a more general pick up point, or do the transport to Butrint by yourself. Although the waiting was frustrating, we now look back at the tour around Butrint as the best experience we had in Albania. Gert spiked our curiosity more than any history teacher has ever done!

Definitely worth a visit. We had a great guide, knowledgeable, caring and extremely pleasant. Some of the paths and steps were tricky for my wife. Girt was very patient and helpful.

Butrint is located in a stunningly beautiful setting. The site itself is extensive and our guide was knowledgeable and very interesting. We were collected from our hotel on schedule and our bags were kindly stored for us in the company office. The whole trip was seamlessly organised. We really enjoyed our visit.

Knowledgeable and polite tour guide, we had a car pick up for four, right at our hotel and were driven straight to the site, with quick access through ticket booth and unrushed tour of the ancient city with pointing out of details and some flex time given to roam on our own. the guide was knowledgeable, polite, unobtrusive and very affable, I would highly recommend this company (REI tours) in Albania for this tour. PS-our tour guide was in communication with us due to running late due to traffic which we appreciated a lot.

It was amazing experience to be in Albania and spent there a few days. We didnt have any organized trip but we were lucky to find Rei Tours. The Guider told a very interesting story about ancient place and gave us real lesson of history. We recomend this travel agency !!!

We arrived in Saranda early in the morning, and were planning to continue to Gjirokaster later in the day. As we wanted to visit Butrint as well, we booked a trip with Reitours. We were met at the port, and travelled directly to Butrint. The guiding was excellent, and we were left ofg at the bus station, where we were helped to find the right bus to Gjirokaster as well.

Spændende historiske sted. Og guide var god til af formilde historien. Husk gode sko, da terrænet er ujævne. Og der er en del trapper og broen, som er ujævne.
