My wife and I, highly recommend! Remco was a terrific guide and gave us some great history behind all the great scenery. Not to mention we all had just great conversation and time riding together. We would do this tour again in a heartbeat.

The sightseeing was awesome. The bike equipment was awful. Nothing more to say than that….other than the rating system requires 100 characters.

Remco gave us a wonderful private tour! It was educational and entertaining. We learned so much about Amsterdam and it's history. The bike ride was like riding through a movie, so picturesque and peaceful.

We had an absolutely fantastic time with Remco. The route was fantastic and we really enjoyed all of the history, facts, and interesting (often amusing) side notes. Weesp and the neighboring town with castle are very special. The bikes fit us perfectly (we have 2 tall, 2 short in our family), which we all appreciated-- very comfortable . One highlight among many was tasting fresh milk and ice cream. It was everything I hoped it would be for our family-- a private tour, a great day biking (very good exercise) in fresh air with beautiful countryside. Very personal and also very professional. Fun and memorable. Highly recommend.

A long, rambling bike ride through the country with the energetic and effusive Remco. Not only does he know a lot of great facts about the Netherlands, but he takes you on a lovely, scenic route through some picturesque countryside.

The scenery was lovely but overall the tour was disappointing. We could have had similar experience renting a bike and doing a self guided tour (I would recommend this option - trails are well marked and easy to navigate). It cost $350CAD (4 people) plus additional 60 euros cash for bike rental (read this in the fine print). It was advertised as 3-4 hours and we were dropped off in 2 hours. We have done similar bike tours in many cities in Europe and have never been disappointed. In this case, we generally felt rushed and that our guide was not engaged at all.

My husband and I absolutely loved this bike tour! Our tour guide Remco was so friendly! He made us feel very welcome, and he was amazing with the information about his country and showing us a beautiful countryside! He’s also a great photographer too and captured us with some awesome scenery. I highly recommend this tour! I wish Remco could be our tour guide for all the Netherlands!!

I wish there was a way to separate out the tour from the equipment and the guide. Overall, we enjoyed cycling in the countryside. BUT, we paid for a "private tour," and it was not. Not much we could do, on the spot. We paid $15 euro per bike rental fee, on top of activity fee, and that was laughable, because the bikes couldn't have been worth $15 euro each, never mind rental. Brakes literally squealing/broken, resulted in accident and injury; others on tour had bike seats that kept releasing and lowering, spontaneously (hence, the accident/injury). No bikes suitable for taller riders (and there's no shortage of tall people in The Netherlands). Guide expressed his views the government was trying to buy out farms to control the people through controlling the food chain, and climate change denialist. Can NOT get close to the castle that is depicted in tour/reviews. Rip off that could easily be fixed with standard operating bikes and not forcing group tour when billed as private. The ride itself was flat, easy, the towns and farms cute, but it felt like a scam.

An excellent, must do experience! My family and I joined our guide, Remco, for a bike ride through the Dutch countryside on a very chilly (about 40 degrees F), very windy, and somewhat drizzly March day. We had such a great time the weather was irrelevant! Remco guided us through beautiful villages, past authentic windmills (two of which are still in use), to a farm where we sampled fresh milk and homemade ice cream, past WWII bunkers, and more. In addition to teaching us the history of the area, he also filled us in on current events and issues facing the local citizens. Near the end of our week in Europe, I asked my family to list their favorite experiences and every person mentioned the bike tour as being in their top two (watching Real Madrid v. Liverpool at Santiago Bernabeu took 1st place for two of them). It is an awesome experience all ages will enjoy (our group was 50, 44, 17, 15 and 12), and I would do it again in an instant.

This was definitely an extremely unique experience. It was a cold morning but that didn't bother us. Remco was a great guide and was really fun to talk to.

If you are looking to get out of the city for the day this was the way to go. Remco was our guide and he could not have been friendlier. He had a great sense of humor and showed us some interesting views and gave us some interesting facts about the area. I highly recommend this tour opposed to the big touristy groups. The bike ride was fairly easy. We took the train from the central station to Weesp. At the end of the tour my husband and I had a couple of beers and lunch at the Wiesp Brewery which used to be a church. Great day!

Fantastic tour along the idyllic countryside just 25 minutes by train from Amsterdam Central station. Absolutely enjoyed it. It’s suitable for any level of bike drivers - I haven’t been cycling for quite some years, and I was fine throughout the ride, and was able to enjoy the views while riding after a couple of minutes of getting used to it. Overall, 10 out of 10!

Remco led us on an excellent 2-1/2 hour tour of the countryside around Weesp, NL. Some of the planned stops at cheese shop and clogs were not available. Other notes - bike rental charge of 15Eu/each is additional. Also be aware that there is significant political commentary that you may not be aligned with.

Booked online so excited to go on this. Had to take two trains to get there. And pay to get cash currency exchange. Got there 20 minutes early called five minutes after the tour was supposed to start. Sent messages on here continued to call wasted two hours and a ton of money couldn’t get an Uber or taxi to even take to the castle. He replied later saying he was sorry……Not acceptable or Professional. Please use a legit company. Would Not recommend to Anyone.

Remcof was an exceptional guide who took us around town on our bikes. He met us at the train station and then we rode to a windmill and went inside to see the grinding of wheat (only on Saturdays)! Then he took us to a working dairy farm that had a little shop where we could buy cheese, by the local castle, and then to another cute shop where we tried the freshest milk. We got pictures in two different places of us in front of a windmill. It was a lovely day out in the fresh air and one of our favorite activities of our travels.

WOW doesn’t even describe this tour. Remco is so nice and knowledgeable about the area. We enjoyed our entire trip to Amsterdam, but this tour was by far our favorite part.

We had horrible weather while in Amsterdam. Remco kept on top of the weather and touched base the day before to check our itinerary to see if we could go another day. With another day set, that day's weather was also not awesome. So instead of biking, he picked us up in the city in his car and took us sightseeing. We couldn't leave without seeing the countryside and windmills. Remco went above and beyond to make sure we checked everything off our list.
