Loved this cruise. We had a family of 8- to Include grandparents and young children. We could bring on drinks and asked Pop as many questions as we wanted and took great pics. It was so perfect and since we had limited time in the city so hit the ground running. Fantastic location for lunch and dinner once you're done. Highly recommend!

This was our second trip with Rederij Paping. Both tours were outstanding. Pap is a class act - a very nice man who shares his deep knowledge in an engaging way. He is also priced very fairly. I look forward to a third chance to sail with him.

It was such a treat to see the city from a private canal cruise. My whole family loved it, especially my 3 year old and 6 year old who got to help steer the boat for a minute. A true highlight of our trip!!

The history and context of the architecture and design of the city came alive as we traveled around. It was excellent!

We had a lovely cruise with skipper Cynthia on our first night in Amsterdam. It was an excellent introduction to the city, as we had never been here before, and gave us the lay of the land before our vacation here. We would highly recommend this relaxing to her with his skipper Cynthia, or her husband, Mark.

Deep gave us the 90 minute tour. He was on time. He mentioned that he recently had returned to Amsterdam after several years. While the boat is great and Deep has great experience with boats, we found his attitude off putting and hence the 3 stars. We had arranged our requests ahead of time but did not get much information or history. We had to ask a lot of questions hoping for information. The tour got better toward the end however where Deep gave us more information primarily on some ships docked at the Marine museum. Boats are clearly Deep’s passion. The communication with the organizers of the tour via Viator prior to the trip was very good. Following this tour, we took another commercial tour to get more details of popular sites and Amsterdam’s history.

The cruise was so peaceful and calming. We brought snacks on board while we cruised the canals. Highly recommend a private tour over a group tour.

The captain took us where we wanted to go so we had a perfect experience. He was knowledgeable and provided great insights into the beautiful buildings of Amsterdam.

Our 90 min Private Family Canal Cruise was on May 9,2023 at 7pm Despite the evening being cool and rainy the cruise was amazing the boat was completely covered and the seats were heated and dry. There was even hot tea for us to enjoy because of the cool evening. Mark our tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative, he answered all of our questions about the city and the canals. I would highly recommend the private tour for groups of 6-10, there were 6 of us and it was perfect, lots of space to sit comfortably and to move around to take pictures. Thanks for a great evening!!

Really recommend this boat trip - our guide was very informative. We learned a lot about Amsterdam in 90 minutes (without it being too much information - more like a friendly conversation.) Recommend you do this near the start of your visit as it really informed the rest of our stay. Comfortable boat and we all enjoyed the complimentary cava with our picnic lunch. Thank you!

Mark and Cynthia were so knowledgeable, personable and clearly love what they do. The experience was perfect for us as two families traveling together and it being our first day in Amsterdam. They were very accommodating and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 90-minute cruise. It was the perfect size boat for our party of 7 and our Captain provided a lot of local history as well as answer our many questions. The complimentary beverages were a nice treat too. Would highly recommend this tour.

Pick up was in time at exact location. Paap, the captain was very friendly, but had expected more of what was offered for the price we paid (almost €180). we did not know if drinks were included. We were not asked if wanted any cover or not, or blankets, since it was a bit snippy this day. A little bit to little information on buildings etc., except if we asked. The map we were shown on where we were going, was on a pillow beside the captain. The big plus, was that we were offered to be dropped of at location of choice, since it was said it was at the same as pick up.

We had a wonderful time exploring the canals, architecture and history with Skipper Paap on a private 90 minute canal cruise. Skipper Paap is wonderfully knowledgeable, informative and funny. We were even offered complementary beverages! I cannot recommend this tour enough. It's a great way to comfortably see so much of beautiful Amsterdam. And, at the end, we were dropped off at a location convenient for us. Book now!

Best part of our trip! Skipper Paap was the perfect guide and we had a beautiful sunset canal ride. We had the best time!

Pick up was prompt, the boat was perfect four our group. The captain was very accommodating and provide little extras that made the cruise special.
