Let me start my review by saying - Horse riding experience is for everyone. I had zero idea how to ride a horse before but still I made it and have nice memories from this experience. Picturesque views, professional support from Avenir (the owner) and friendly horses makes this activity definitely a „must-do” while being in Permet.

If you want to experience Albania from a different perspective, saddle up with Funky Adventures and explore the beautiful Albanian countryside on horseback. We had an unforgettable hike through the beautiful mountains of Permet and along the river side Vjosa. The spring blossoms, shepherds with sheep on the way provide a beautiful landscape and gave us splendid pictures.... We loved every moment of it.

We had an absolutely brilliant day with Avenir horse-trekking in the hills surrounding Permet. It was the most incredible experience and a highlight of our trip to Albania. Avenir was so friendly and kind. He took lots of brilliant photos and videos throughout so we were left with a great collection of memories. We would recommend as a must for anyone visiting Albania.

My husband and I throughly enjoyed the horse riding activity with Funky Adventures. The guides were entertaining, kind and ensured our safety from beginning until the end. The views we saw were nothing short of amazing! Spring was springing, and overall this was an experience we will not soon forget. We were a bit hesitant when we first booked the trip because none of us had any prior experience riding but the tour guides definitely came through and took all measures for us to feel safe and well prepared for the experience. We went to Funky's Amazing Horse Riding Adventure and had a really great time. Avenir is a very kind guide and pays attention to all his "flock". And Lili also seems very nice. Besides a ride on super well maintained and well kept horses, we got to see the full beauty of Permet's surroundings and were also fortified for the way back during the break with fresh fruit, cookies, water and a good sip of sangria. We were a small group and felt well taken care of at all times. Who dares it, is also allowed to ride faster with his horse. All in all, a great experience, which Avenir also sweetened with free pictures and videos in the episode.

The horse ride through the scenic, undulating hills around Përmet was breathtaking. The journey was splendidly guided. The guides ensured our experience was save but also adventurous. The trips are worked out depending on the level of experience of the participants. In this way, even novices in horse riding can have a joyful day. Experiencing the beautiful Albanian landscape on the back of a horse was an activity never to be forgotten. About halfway we were offered drinks and some snacks while the horses were grazing and drinking. The horses were well-trained and were very gentle and docile even for those with minimal experience. The equestrian adventure offered by Funky Adventures is highly recommended for all who want to enjoy the Albanian nature near Përmet in an adventurous way.

We went horseback riding, and honestly, photos and the five-star reviews don’t do justice to this experience. The horses were amazingly trained, and even though most of our group had never ridden a horse in their lives, they still enjoyed it immensely. An absolute must if you happen to be in Albania.

I went on the horseback riding tour with my partner. The horses were amazingly patient and well trained. The trail led us over beautiful meadows, along small paths and we could enjoy the view over the river from horseback. Avenir took many pictures and videos along the way, so there was no need to take pictures ourselves and we could fully enjoy the experience.

We had a very good first experience with horse riding, the horses were really calm and didn’t do any unexpected things. The guide spoke very good english and instructed us good and easy. The road we took had some breathtaking views. Would def. Recommend to other people!

We stayed at the funky guest house and booked the horseriding experience as well. We had an amazing day learning to ride the horses and getting to know the mountainous landscape of permet. Avenir takes into account your level of horseriding and plans your trip accordingly. You also get to enjoy a nice break with drinks and fruits. 10/10 would recommend

It was the best experience of our vacation in Albania🇦🇱 I was a little nervous at first, since it was just my second time riding a horse, but the horses were so calm and well behaved. Everything was explained to us in the beginning and there was nothing to be afraid of🥳 Both me and my boyfriend were excited, would recommend it to anyone. So if you hesitate like I did, go for it! It’s worth it😍

A very fun experience both for experienced and inexperienced riders. The guide is very friendly and explains exactly what to do. We rode through open fields but also went into the hills and saw beautiful views. The horses clearly knew what to do. In the middle we got a snack and a drink at a very nice picnic spot. A few days later, we were sent all the photos and videos the guide had taken. It was definitely worth the money!

We had the best day with Avenir and Lili, horse trekking. From start to finish it was absolutely fantastic! Avenir matched us up to a horse based on our level of experience and we witnessed the most beautiful landscape whilst on horse back. Avenir has an amazing sense of humour and kept the mood high all day. We stopped for delicious snacks half way though and even a glass of sangria which was lovely. My partner had never ridden a horse before and he absolutely loved it - felt very safe and comfortable. I have done a lot of riding and it was a good challenge for me too, finishing with a gallop at the end which made it! The horses are so loved and cared for so well. An absolute MUST do if you are in Permet - such fun and you will see parts of Albania that you would never access any other way. We couldn’t recommend it enough. Thank you Avenir and Lili for our favourite experience of Albania ❤️

The horse riding tour with Avenir and Lili was an absolutely amazing experience. They take great care of the horses and match the right one to each person. I had very little experience, so I rode a gentler horse, which made the trip so enjoyable. Avenir is so helpful and funny, and he made sure we were all good and having a great time throughout the tour. They take many pictures as well, so you can just enjoy the ride. Nice break in the shade, which everyone, including the horses need in the summer. Our route went up and down the mountain, next to the river, and the view is so beatiful. Highly recommend!
