We arrived on a cruise ship and it was a joy to avoid the chaos of the arrival terminal and meet our private guide. Departing early we remained ahead of the crowds attending the sites around Ephesus. Our guide (Yavus) was knowledgeable and informative with a nice balance of leaving us our own time. Following an enjoyable local lunch we watched traditional rugs being made (Yavus was helpful here in managing the ‘sales pitch’). Having a vehicle at our disposal meant we could stay and go as we wanted. When you consider how much it costs to get here, and how limited the time is, this tour represents great value.

Yavuz was an amazing guide. He was knowledgeable, respectful, and willing to mold the tour to our wants. He was able to answer nearly all of our questions and provide very detailed background information.

This tour was one of the absolute highlights of our two week trip. Ephesus was unbelievable. And I highly recommend our tour guide Melih. He was so knowledgeable and helpful. He had a great sense of humor and kept us all very entertained. We were a group of 12 ranging in age from 10 to 80 and we all thoroughly enjoyed it! Also, the local restaurant Melih recommended at the end of our tour (sorry, I don’t know the name of it, but he’ll know) was phenomenal. Many in our party still talk about it how it was one of the best meals of their lives.

We got picked up at the cruise ship terminal. Our very friendly guide Ms. Nahide was already waiting for us. We had our 4 your old son with us, and all our wishes were served. We went to the House of Mary, the ruins of Ephesus und the remains of the Temple of Artemis. We also included a very short stop in a gift shop, which was OK, because the food we bought there was very good.

We split a private tour with another couple from our cruise ship. We had an amazing time! The driver had cold water and knew exactly where to park to minimize walking. The tour guide, Melis, was absolutely delightful! We left feeling as though we were good friends. She was so knowledgeable about the area and archaeology. It was also very obvious that she was well liked among the other tour guides and employees at the Ephesus site. (I'm a former tour guide myself, and trust me, this is important!!) She was able to change our tour on the spot. We had originally signed up to take a tour of the Terrace Houses but it was so so hot that we changed course and spent some time in the local museum that had some stunning pieces and was nicely air conditioned! Overall a 5-star experience. If we go back to this area again we will definitely use this company!

I have toured with Ephesus Shuttle twice and both tours were highlights of a lifetime. Ms. Melas was made the experience personal. We felt like a family friend was showing us the country she loved. I hope to return to Turkey soon, and will be using her services to explore Istanbul and surrounding regions!

An absolutely amazing experience! We did 4 excursions and this was bt far the best. We were privileged to get Javuz Morgul as our tour guide. He was thorough and thoughtful to our needs and preferences. He knew where to rest in the shade, bypass lines, and give timely information based on what were were about to see. It experience was personal and intimate with a group of four. Would absolutely rebook this excursion again

The tour wait you just after the cruise arrival. The excursion was excellent and the guide Yavuz was excellent and really adaptative about what we wanted to look. I recommand this tour.

Exceptional value for money. Ms. Ilgü is very knowledgeable and speaks English perfectly. The sites are beautiful and worth every minute of your time. The van was luxurious. A private tour is a good way to visit a site like this, instead of being in a group of 30, listening to a guide telling a standard story. Great experience. PS: Ms. turned out to be a great photographer as well :-)

Our guide and bus driver were fantastic. With the time allotted we were able to visit everything in one shot. Nothing like a nice private tour to kickoff the day. Definitely recommend visiting the rug making store if time allows.

This wasn’t our first tour with Ephesus Shuttle. We used them 10 years ago when we were in Turkey. We requested the same tour guide, Emre. We were so impressed with his knowledge and expertise the first time that we wanted our friends to experience his tour, as well. Needless, to say we were not disappointed. It was really nice to see him again and it felt like it was our first visit. He was so informative and he made sure that we arrived at the places early to beat the crowds.

Selda and her driver were fantastic. Right on time and where they said they would be. Selda was very knowledgeable about the history of Mary’s house and Ephesus and spoke great English. She was very happy to go at the pace we wanted and provided a lot of information. We are not serious history people and it was very hot so we were happy to move through Ephesus at a much faster pace than perhaps most people. Selda was very happy to accomodate our wishes. She also gave us some time to look at some of the shops at Ephesus which was great. We included the traditional Turkish lunch which was fabulous. I would highly recommend Selda and this tour.

Ephesus was amazing. We've done Pompeii, Knossos.. but this one was the best. Or guide Melis was great. Very informative, friendly and easy to understand. Would certainly recommend if you're visiting Kusadasi!

Wonderful pre trip communication with clear pricing and inclusions. Very responsive throughout the pre trip process when my group went from 10 to 20. Once at the Port a clear sign was posted and our guide was present. We were escorted to a big tour bus and from there Alex shared about Turkey, Kusadasi, and the region. Also allowed us to ride in quiet for a bit. At Ephesus, Alex explained the sights along the way, cautioned us about slippery spots, fielded questions, entertained AND found us shade. He really met us where we were from an attention, knowledge, and expectation perspective. He was a true professional, as we expected from the first interactions with the company. We decided that we wanted to eat lunch but not do some of the other stops and he made that happen. Shared more history and took us to a fantastic lunch spot. A few members wanted help finding leather purses and he knew just the spot. A great tour. A great guide. A great company. 10/10 !

We enjoyed our shore excursion, especially our guide, Ms. Di. She was very knowledgeable. The visit to the House of the Virgin was meaningful to our family and was happy we beat the crowds. Ephesus was amazing and Di was a wealth of information.

Love this company, they are great, I’ve been on 3 tours with them and you can’t go wrong! The tours in and around Ephesus have been the best! I’d definitely do the terraces in Ephesus, this is one is my favourite. My tour guide most recently was typhoon and he was great! I still stay in touch and love following my last tour guide before that Emre. You won’t find more considerate tour guides than these two. World class!
