They will loot you in every point and this is a shared trip no matter you book VIP or VVIP. Guid was a cheater and he asked for irrelevant money on the trip.

The perfect way to see the key sights in Alexandria, with our guide Nessrin (and driver). The main attractions are quite a long way from each other, and some of them are hidden away so a car is essential. In the course of one day we visited the royal palace gardens, Alexandrian bibliotheca, catacombs and roman theatre, Coptic church, mosque complex and fort Qaitbay. Thoroughly recommend, especially if you are short of time.

Our day tour of Alexandria was fabulous! We had the opportunity to see the highlights of the city and learned so many things along the way. Our guide Karim was very knowledgeable about his city. We even waved to his university professor driving by!! Karim was very friendly, engaging, and open to answering our deluge of questions You can tell he is highly respected in his field as he met with many colleagues throughout the day who were very happy to stop and say hello We were glad to have selected the all day private tour. - Allowing us time and flexibility to get to all the major sites and not feeling rushed or delayed while doing so We enjoyed a delicious lunch of sea bass with all the local trimmings - I would love to get that recipe! Our diver Ibrahim was safe and courteous All in all we passed a Great day in Alexandria!

This is a fast paced version of all the highlights of Alexandria. We had the bad luck of booking this on a Friday during Ramadan and the library was closed, but Karim made up for it. He was great at giving the background information at all the sites and was very professional.

Everything went smooth. We received lots of information from the tour guide. Guide was helpful. The itinerary was good. Restaurant and was food was good. Guide was flexible.

My wife and I took this trip in Alexandria. We had seen Egypt earlier from Cairo/Giza right to Abu Simbel so we decided to go to Alexandria the night earlier and start the day from there, as well as end it in Alexandria itself. The driver and guide for this visit were Hany and Shaimaa respectively. We had a great experience of the entire tour and covered all the sites mentioned in the package. Shaimaa also took us to a great place for lunch - we are vegetarians and had a very nice meal. There are some things to keep in mind though - the library is shut on Fridays as a result of which we could only see it on the outside as we took the trip on a Friday. (It is a different thing that we managed to cover the library including the antiquities museum and the manuscript museum by ourselves on Saturday which took us 150 minutes as we were keen to see things in detail). Also, if one is very fond of history, the day is going to have an extremely tight schedule. So it might make sense to - find out exactly what is not covered as part of the original full day agenda (for example, a visit to the manuscripts museum and antiquities museum), - which of the non-covered agenda does one want to see in the time available at one's cost (tickets) if needed on the same day, and - plan the day accordingly (if required, drop some less important sites in the agenda based on priority) Hany and Shaimaa were extremely good hosts. Shaimaa gave us great details about each place and answered all our queries. She even helped to quickly cover the last site/stop when we were behind time. Alexandria is a great place and the road to it from Cairo is very smooth - takes approx 3 hours. So better to arrive here the previous night and start early.

Waleed was our guide for this day tour. He was knowledgeable, patient and explained the sites to us in detail. We were travelling with 2 young kids and another couple, and he made sure to keep everyone happy.

Our tour guide Waleed was fabulous. He tried his level best to get us to see everything. Fantastic guide. There was an issue on the highway which reaching Alexandria due to which we lost 1.5hrs. however our guide made sure that we didn't miss anything. The tour wouldn't have been possible without him. He is a great example of Egyptian hospitality.

Karim is a very knowledgeable guide bringing the colourful stories of Alexandria to life. The catacombs, St Mark’s church, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and seeing every-day Egyptian life were highlights.

Karim, our guide, seemed to be rushing. He speaks so fast with a high pitch that sometimes you could not understand him. It’s scheduled for a full day but we are done by about 2 pm. The lunch was good though.

It was an informative and comprehensive tour of Alexandria. Most importantly, I felt safe because Alexandria is a city that you should not be exploring without a guide. You do not want to attempt to take any of the taxis.

Waleed was a knowledgeable guide and was humorous. He was kind and accommodating, and was always keeping a lookout for us. Appreciate his hospitality and friendliness.

Saw a lot of different places and beautiful places in Alexandria within 7 or so hours. Tour guide Waleed was very friendly, knowledgable. Recommend this tour for people looking to explore Alexandria in a day.

Personal professional guide and great driver. The guide’s knowledge of history was excellent and always put into context adaptin to our question. Watch out that on Friday the library is shut, mosque extremely busy and the Palace golfcart tour not running so it would better to choose another weekday if you could. However it was hard to fit so many places into a day and we did get to all of them and were given full info on the sites and able to take photos from outside. We would recommend.

I hadn't fully appreciated the size of Alexandria and the distance between the sights - prepare for a lot of time in the car! This meant that the tour felt rushed in places, particularly Montazah Palace, but it did give a good overview and my guide Shery provided extra historical information and helped answer any questions. The lunch restaurant overlooking Fort Qaitbey was nice and they catered well for my fish allergy. The main reason for the 3* review is the unnecessary stop at a souvenir shop selling papyrus and perfume. Clearly the tour company is earning commission from sales there and it leads towards an intimidating and pressuring atmosphere, not to mention wasting time that could have spent enjoying longer at some of the sites. This is a tour, not an opportunity to take advantage of tourists! On the way home we also got stopped by the police (some licence issue) and ended up waiting on the side of the road for 45 minutes.

Absolutely amazing expertise! Would recommend this tour and our tour guide Waleed to anyone. Unbelievable sites and views to be had.
